I just tried it. Definitely more intense; I washed my hand an hour later and could still smell it. Dried down, it smells like those old orange sweets to me… it’s not my style. I suggest trying before buying.
I didn’t like the original My Way at all so when I smelled this my head exploded and I thought it was excellent. It is as if they had made something completely different it almost reminded me of Lipstick by M.M. Probably it is the iris the orange blossom and bourbon vanilla. I will have to smell it more times; tomorrow I will try it on my skin and hair to see how it goes.
Finally a flanker that has changed my mind: although it diverges significantly from the classic My Way and wins hands down that initial spark fades to give way to something dense and opulent. With eyes closed the characteristic neroli note remains though less prominent. The true star is iris slightly powdery and buttery with a dark woody base. It is sweet but less so than the previous versions with riper neroli and less ‘cloying’. A characterful scent less youthful more mature and elegant ideal for evenings or autumn. Brutal performance: high projection in the first few hours and 8-10 hours on skin.
I hate the original My Way, so when I smelled this, my head exploded. It seemed wonderful, as if they’d made something completely different; it even reminded me of M.M. Lipstick. It’s probably the iris plus the orange blossom (and bourbon vanilla). I’ll have to smell it more times; tomorrow I’ll try it on my skin and hair to see how it goes.
I don’t understand why the usual reviewers barely mention this perfume; is my sense of smell sensitive and has it just fallen in love? It seemed spectacular to me. I smelled it without pretence, and although I’m not a fan of neroli, nor My Way or Interdit, I saw fireworks. I was going to try others, stayed in the dry-down, and had to come back to spray myself as if there were no tomorrow, taking advantage that no one was watching. I wear it all day and people have asked what I’m wearing, even on the bus. Beautiful floral opening with soft neroli, sparkling citrus, and the iris that makes it powdery, like opening old makeup. Dried down, it musks and bourbon vanilla appears, sweetening it, with woods that darken it. It’s a different fragrance for what designers launch, for a mature, sexy, playful, delicious woman. I need this scent in my life and doubt I can wait long to own it. @perfumiris
Finally, a flanker made exactly to my measure that, realistically, distances itself from its predecessors and beats them all hands down. That sparkling aspect of the classic is absent here; from the start, it feels dense and opulent. Although it doesn’t resemble the others much, with eyes closed, you’d know it’s from the collection because the neroli note remains noticeable. The absolute protagonist is THE IRIS: slightly powdery, buttery, with a dark woody/musky base that I adore. It remains sweet but less so than before, denser, with riper neroli and less sticky. A characterful perfume made to attract attention. A less youthful, more mature and elegant version, perhaps more nocturnal or autumnal/wintery. Performance is very good, with high projection for the first 2-3 hours and 8-10 hours on the skin, much longer on clothes. I like it and would love to own it.
It smells very good. It opens with a wonderful lipstick scent, then the orange and orange blossom are clearly perceived. There in the base, I definitely notice the DNA of the classic My Way, but very faintly. It’s a great perfume, strong and powerful but cheerful and pretty. For me, the best My Way; it surpasses the original.
I’ll start by saying this perfume differs significantly from the original My Way, which I appreciate greatly since the original shocked me and the scents give me migraines. This new My Way Parfum surprises me; I went to the perfumeria with fear, and although I can’t comment on performance, the aroma is very pleasant, sweet but without overpowering anyone. It would be the only My Way I’d dare to include in my collection.
I approached this mini bottle with disdain and was pleasantly surprised. The woman who looked down on you from the 6A man’s table suddenly seems nice; the new boss isn’t as sharp-edged, and that dry teenager was well-mannered. The first spray is peculiar yet familiar: it’s a younger sister of Prada Candy. I’m obsessed with that animalic sway, like a floral foxhound. The base of My Way Parfum is wonderful: three phases, all good. First, a rare semi-synthetic and musky note; second, intoxicating and playful like Prada Candy; third, clean, sweet, dry, and slightly apricot-like, similar to L’Interdit—a candied apricot that drives me mad. Could it be more generic? Perhaps, but it’s more than adequate. It feels like a bomb. We will definitely meet again.
Since I tried it I knew it was mine it is a hit and the best launch of the year! It reminds me of My Way but enough to own both. It smells like lipsticks old powders and left-over sweets all mixed in a creamy and powdery balance. It lasts all day with a moderate trail. I have the 30ml and I am already thinking about the large size in case it is discontinued.
The opening is sparkling before revealing that creamy iris and powdery character that dominate the fragrance. Dried down, it’s a blend of iris, neroli, and orange blossom. The base is musky, vanilla-like, and woody, giving it solidity. The trail is moderate and lasts 6-7 hours, which isn’t impressive for a Parfum version. I’ve tried it in samples, and perhaps maceration would do it more justice. It’s pleasant and pretty, but it doesn’t bring anything new. I’m glad I tried it, but I’m removing it from my wishlist. Scent 6/10, longevity 6.5/10, sillage 6.5/10, value for money 5/10, versatility 7/10, packaging 8.5/10. I wouldn’t buy it.
Since I tried it, I knew it had to be mine; it’s fantastic and, for me, the best launch of the year. It has something reminiscent of My Way but differs enough to allow me to own both. It’s a scent that moves from lipsticks to old powders, leaving a sweet trail, all between creamy and powdery. It lasts all day with a moderate sillage. I have the 30ml version and am already thinking about getting the larger size in case they decide to discontinue it.
I absolutely adore the My Way line, but the original and Intense overwhelm me; they last all day and project too much for my liking. The Parfum is a different story: it opens with a citrus and orange blossom burst that quickly yields to neroli and iris, with the latter taking the lead. It sounds like My Way but with toned-down neroli to let the iris shine, creating a calmer vibe. As it dries down, it becomes sweet and powdery, reminiscent of fresh makeup powder or sharpened coloured pencils. On my skin, it lasts about four hours and has a soft sillage, but since I can’t wear other perfumes for long, it doesn’t matter. I love it and reapply without hesitation.🥰
I don’t like neroli, but I do like the My Way line. This PARFUM doesn’t deviate much from its siblings. I’ve compared it to the Intense, and the only difference is the iris, which makes it less sweet and very powdery; otherwise, it’s all the same. If you have the Intense, it’s not worth it unless you adore the iris, which predominates quite a bit. It’s a very good perfume if you like iris and neroli. I see it for autumn, winter, and evenings; it’s very enveloping, it embraces you. It lasts a long time and projects quite well; although it’s not a bomb, it’s a bit strong but bearable.
It’s a good fragrance, with non-pungent neroli in the style of L’Interdit, very enjoyable. It doesn’t lose the DNA of the first My Way; it has a powdery touch that distinguishes it from its siblings, and in the dry-down, it reminds me of my beloved Solo Ella by Loewe. Would I buy it? Probably not, as I already own Solo Ella and feel they follow the same line. Would I wear it? If it were a gift, certainly. Safe purchase: 8/10.
Well well finally I have this fragrance to complete my collection. I was afraid of the iris because I hate that note but here it works fantastically. Perhaps because it is in fashion but it is not fig; I am reboating with the launches! This My Way starts citrusy in seconds and then explodes into creamy neroli like the Intense version but the iris steps up hard. There is a battle between the two that the iris wins although the neroli marks the pace. It does not smell like makeup or nasty powder; it is creamy sweet and delicate. Very happy with the purchase.
Well, well, well… after desiring it for so long to complete my My Way collection, I finally have it. I must say I was afraid of the iris note as I usually hate it, but in this perfume, it looks fantastic! Perhaps iris has become fashionable as all major launches include it (unless it’s fig, ha!). I’ve been bouncing between them (I bought La Vie Est Belle and returned it, jaaaaaaa!). This My Way has a citrus opening that lasts seconds before giving way to creamy neroli with full power, like the Intense version, but unlike that, the iris is very prominent. There’s a battle between the iris and the neroli, and the iris wins, though the neroli marks its presence almost equally. I don’t detect the typical makeup smell in this iris that I so dislike. It’s creamy, sweet, delicate… Very happy with my new acquisition.
It’s a gorgeous fragrance, setting itself apart slightly from previous My Ways. The citrus opening lasts seconds, leaving that blend of sweet neroli and iris; a sweet, elegant, and versatile fragrance. Super wearable for summer. Highly recommended.
What a beautiful perfume; I tried it and was enchanted by its feminine, refined, and elegant scent. What I detect most is the iris and the neroli. The iris gives that powdery, velvety touch, like old makeup. I like it; it’s well-balanced with the neroli and adds mystery and romance. Although it shares the DNA of previous My Ways, what makes the difference is the iris. That’s why I recommend trying it even if you own others, as the scent changes quite a bit with this new note. It seems perfect for any season, though I would wear it in spring and autumn. It’s semi-formal; I wouldn’t wear it to work every day, but it adapts well to various occasions. Longevity and projection are very good; I tested it on skin and although it’s not an intensity bomb, it performed well. A note: in the dry-down, it reminded me of Mugler’s Alien EDP. I loved this new version; it’s already first on my wishlist 💫
I tried this in-store and the opening didn’t excite me much; it reminded me strongly of Dior Homme Intense. However, while I was dealing with errands, I sensed a delicate and rich aroma; remembering I was wearing it, it automatically went onto my wishlist. I bought the 30 ml because it’s pricey here. The opening is what I like least, but it fades quickly and the dry-down is wonderful: sweet, creamy from the neroli, and powdery from the iris, very feminine. The only downside is it lasts about four hours on my skin and doesn’t project much, so reapplication is needed. It’s like a child of Dior Homme and the traditional My Way; in fact, I layered both and achieved the perfect perfume hehe. I don’t recommend buying blindly; I don’t think it suits everyone.
I don’t usually like My Way scents, but I tried this by mistake and OMG, I loved it. I feel my nose is a bit odd, but the opening reminded me of when I was little and picking guavas from trees, those that aren’t quite ripe yet. Guava isn’t listed, but that’s the scent I perceive. I became obsessed and bought it; it’s now my favourite.
It is elegant, refined, and rich, so beautiful. To me, it sounds like a blend of Alien and Angel NOVA. This gem always flatters me when I wear it. It’s 100% versatile.
To me, it smells similar to LVEB Iris Absolu; they share the iris and orange blossom, but My Way wins on the heart notes of neroli. I’m not buying it, as my favourite neroli remains that of Carolina Herrera NY; nothing is more elegant, potent, and rich. Plus, nobody wears it as much, which is an extra point for me.
I absolutely adore this My Way; it’s incredibly cosy. Just a word of caution: always test before you buy. I ordered it blindly because I like living on the edge, and what a coincidence, luck was on my side. I truly love it! 💜
Neither fish nor fowl, less long-lasting than expected. Very basic scent for my taste.
My Way Parfum is a beauty of white flowers, bergamot, and slightly powdery iris vanilla. It’s my favourite of the My Way family: less sparkling than the original Eau de Parfum, more sophisticated and potent than the Intense. It smells like expensive makeup, giving me that comforting, ultra-feminine, and luxurious sensation that my beloved Donna by Valentino gives me. The presentation is lovely, although I like it less than the first transparent bottle with pink liquid. The performance is impeccable; as a Parfum, it lasts ten hours, projects wonderfully on the skin, has high to moderate sillage, and impregnates clothes strongly to prolong the duration. It resembles others, yes, its sisters and predecessors, and something to the low-cost Zara inspiration, but my heart belongs to this variant. Although it’s less versatile and daily than the others, it’s more elegant and present. As a lover of overpowering perfumes, I declare myself in love. Who will like it: men love it, and those who appreciate powdery white flowers.
Sweet, delicate, pretty, coquettish, timeless… to my nose it’s like a rich sweet, nothing innovative, although among the My Ways it’s the most youthful and versatile. It could be a signature for a young girl, it looks nice for daily wear, but I wouldn’t buy it again because it reminds me of other perfumes in my collection.
My go-to perfume for all seasons, day and night. If you only have money for one, this is a very good option. It has much better sillage and longevity than the other My Way versions. I’ve tried them all and like them, but I choose this above all for its longevity.
This perfume is something else, different from the original My Way. The classic is very sweet, almost like bubblegum due to that loud neroli. In contrast, the Parfum is the classic reworked into something more elegant, but not boring, rather fun. Sweet neroli yes, but with a powdery and earthy touch thanks to the iris, the flower missing to sophisticate it. It doesn’t smell like makeup or cheap powder. Don’t be afraid: the neroli and vanilla sweeten it incredibly. It keeps the DNA of the original but with iris, so it has its own identity. I love it.
This perfume is something else different from the original My Way which is very sweet almost like tutti frutti gum due to that strident neroli. My Way Parfum is the classic revisited to something more elegant but not boring rather elegant and fun. It does have sweet neroli but with a powdery and earthy touch thanks to the iris the flower that was missing to give it sophistication. It does not smell like makeup or nasty powder; the neroli and vanilla sweeten everything incredibly. It keeps the DNA of the original but with iris so it has its own identity. I love it.
I’ve always liked the classic, but I didn’t want to buy it because a colleague wears it daily. I tried the Parfum without many expectations and it turned out to be on another level. It’s citrusy, floral, and woody, very addictive, almost narcotic. I find it elegant, powdery, cosy, and seductive; ideal for evening. The formula is resinous and oily upon application, which is why it has great longevity and projection. The bitter orange, iris, neroli, ambrette musk, and bourbon vanilla stand out. Fortunately, the vanilla feels refined, not overwhelming, and accompanies without causing headaches. It’s delicious and captivated me for special events.
This version of My Way is one of my favourites, alongside the Nectar. It’s so elegant; the iris note gives it that precise powdery touch. It has excellent sillage and longevity; I always receive compliments. I wear it in autumn and winter because the neroli feels potent. In short, it’s my favourite of the season; I can’t stop smelling it.
I just arrived and took advantage of a deal to buy it blind. The opening is a bit mentholated and powdery, which I don’t like, but the dry-down is rich and becomes sweeter. I detect the neroli, vanilla, and something soapy from the musk. I find it sophisticated and will continue to wear it.
Unfortunately I have to say that it is a fragrance that I hated totally. They say it smells like fine makeup something talc-like but I only feel a piercing floral scent nothing pleasant. It must be the iris; I already suspected I didn’t like it but with this perfume I confirmed it I cannot tolerate it at all.
What a pity, it’s a fragrance I totally hated. People say it smells like fine makeup, something powdery… I just detected a sharp floral scent, nothing pleasant. It must be the iris; I suspected I wouldn’t like it, but this confirmed it: I absolutely can’t stand it.
Absolutely love it! It’s intense, long-lasting, and has a real presence. I’ve received compliments on how well it projects. There’s that elegant, coquettish sweetness that embraces you with confident bursts. The iris, musk, and bitter orange blend beautifully; the neroli isn’t as prominent on me, but I think it suits almost any occasion.
