I’m not sure if they were sprayed with the original, but it smells like YSL Libre and Valentino Voice Viva.
I bought it blindly based on reviews claiming it’s identical to YSL Libre, and indeed it is. I love it because I adore Libre and want to use it alternately so I don’t run through it so quickly, as this Icon is much cheaper. I haven’t tested the longevity and sillage yet, but there is a subtle note that makes it different and, surprisingly, I even prefer it to its dupe. Excellent achievement.
I bought it blind after reading it was very similar to YSL Libre, and indeed, it is. I love it because I adore Libre, and the idea is to use them alternately so I don’t finish the original too quickly, as this Icon is much more accessible. I haven’t checked the longevity, sillage, or anything else yet as I’ve only just started using it. There is a slight note that makes it different; I can’t identify which one, but until now, I’ve liked it more than its dupe. Excellent achievement.
I smelled it in the store and on my skin it was very soft; I will update once I’ve purchased it.
It’s a dupe for YSL Libre.
It is sweet and clean, reminding me strongly of YSL Libre. On dry skin it lasts three hours, but I will update once I’ve tested it on hydrated skin and clothing. Given the price, it’s definitely worth adding to your collection.
To my nose, it is a blend of Libre and Voce Viva, leaning more towards the latter as it lacks that soapy scent that Libre possesses.
Icon EDP for women feels far more interesting to me than the men’s version, which says nothing to me. I can’t confirm whether it smells identical to YSL Libre as I’ve forgotten when I last smelled it. The dry-down is incredibly sensual due to an animalic musk—not that clean, fresh kind—blended with sweet vanilla, tobacco, and sandalwood.
I went to try it because I read it was similar to YSL Libre, but I do not think it has anything to do with it. Perhaps they share a note once dried, but that is all.
I bought it two days ago and the opening is muuuuuuuy similar to YSL Libre; once dried it feels a bit sweeter and more vanilla (on my skin) than the original. It does not last long, about three hours on skin and seven on clothes, but given the price, if you like Libre, you will love it.
At first I sensed it as slightly floral, but once dried on my skin it is totally sweet with a touch of lavender. I recommend it to those seeking sweet scents; personally, they are not my favourites. I see it as suitable for intermediate seasons, nothing for intense heat. The price is fair for the longevity; after four hours it is already barely detectable on the skin.
At first it smells fresh, like summer, and the lavender is noticeable, reminding one of YSL Libre, but then it shifts to something super sweet and vanilla-heavy, not gourmand and a bit heavy. It is nice, but I would not wear it in the heat. I think it is ideal for women over 30, for work in autumn and winter.
I don’t know Libre but if it smells like this… mehhh… the bottle colour doesn’t match the scent. It projects little. I don’t think it’s worth the cost.
I have to shout that it doesn’t resemble Libre!!! I have Libre EDP, I smelled it yesterday to check the myth and no, nothing alike. I think they force the resemblance for marketing. The fragrance is lovely and soft, but I felt it was more soapy and effeminate than sweet, and I repeat, very soft. It sits close to the skin, doesn’t project on me, doesn’t stand out. I think if you like Libre, you might like this, but don’t expect a dupe because it isn’t one.
I only detect lavender and vanilla, with no sweetness whatsoever. I would define it as a modern floral. It does smell like YSL Libre, but lacks its depth, leaning more towards Cher Iris, whose notes I list here for comparison with the Icon: opening with bitter orange, raspberry sorbet, red currant and pink pepper; heart of green apple, green tea, peony, jasmine and violet; base of cedar, musk, oakmoss and amber. I adore the bottle and cap; I can imagine them in crystal, what a beauty. For this spring, it is a good purchase regarding price-to-quality ratio.
Why the obsession with looking for dupes or clones everywhere? No, it’s not a clone of YSL’s Libre, it just resembles it because both have the blessed lavender as the protagonist, so it’s logical they coincide, but they aren’t the same. I liked The Icon more than Libre. It’s a fruitier and vanilla lavender, more ‘friendly’ and less unisex than the other. It’s a rich scent ideal for everyday wear. Although it’s low-cost, the packaging is gorgeous and the smell is delicious. It lasted me several hours and is intense; if I apply too much, it saturates me and gives me a headache. I love it, it’s an exquisite option.
I don’t know if it’s Libre or not, but I love The Icon. I’m addicted to sweet and gourmand scents, but I was looking for something lighter for spring/summer; this has citrus freshness and lavender without losing sweetness. On my skin, it smells of red berries, although they aren’t declared. For me, it’s not unisex, it’s very feminine. Curiously, it doesn’t last long on others, but on my clothes it lasted days. It’s floral, fruity, sweet, and modern, delicious; when it dries down, it becomes vanilla. If you notice the lavender, it doesn’t smell like the men’s version. The bottle and box are gorgeous, it’s vegan, cruelty-free, and affordable. For me, it’s a 10/10 and I recommend it from the heart.
I’m not sure if it resembles Libre, but I absolutely adore The Icon. I’m a huge fan of sweet and gourmand scents, yet I wanted something lighter for spring/summer; this one has citrus and lavender freshness but remains sweet. To me, it smells of red berries, even though they aren’t listed in the notes. For me, it’s not unisex; it’s very feminine. Interestingly, it doesn’t last long on others, but it lingers on me for ages and stays on clothes for days. It’s a sweet, fruity, floral, and modern fragrance that is truly delicious; as it dries down, it becomes vanilla-like. If the lavender is noticeable, it doesn’t smell like the lavender found in men’s perfumes. The bottle and box are beautiful, it’s vegan, cruelty-free, and affordable. For me, it’s a 10/10 and I recommend it.
I don’t understand the obsession with hunting for clones everywhere… It’s not a clone of YSL Libre; it just resembles it because both share that blessed lavender, but they aren’t the same. The Icon was more appealing to me than Libre. It’s a fruitier, vanilla-leaning lavender, more ‘friendly’ and less unisex than the original. It’s a rich scent, perfect for everyday wear. For being low-cost, the packaging is lovely and the smell delicious. It lasted several hours and is intense; if I apply too much, it becomes overpowering and gives me a headache. I love it; it’s an exquisite option.
On my skin, Icon Woman smells almost exactly like Libre EDP. I have both and the difference is minimal.
Not bad, the scent is soft, pleasant, and very gourmand, like sweet lavender. But it’s not a dupe for Libre; Libre is powerful, for an empowered girl that makes everyone look. The Icon is just a perfume that smells good for daily wear. If you’re looking for a very forced dupe for The Icon, it could be La Nuit Tresor a la Folie but in a softer version.
At first, it smells of orange blossom with a touch of lavender and a very distant vanilla. Then the vanilla comes out in full force, with an orange blossom and lavender that are quite muddled and soft. What rich vanilla, very enjoyable and cosy, 0% gourmand, exactly my taste. It does resemble the Libre EDT I own, especially in the dry-down; the evolution is different, with Libre being much more intense and dominated by lavender, whereas in The Icon the protagonist is the vanilla, always muddled. Duration and projection are moderate, very little trail.
I love it! I was looking for something sweet that wasn’t caramel or cotton candy, and this is the spot. The trail is very subtle and lasts about four hours, so you need to reapply. Overall, it’s a gentle fragrance, not intrusive, nothing uncomfortable, and perfect for everyday wear.
I love it! I was looking for a sweet perfume that didn’t smell like caramel or cotton candy, and this is perfect. The trail is very soft and the longevity is about four hours, so you need to reapply. However, overall it’s a gentle fragrance, not penetrating, not uncomfortable, and perfect for everyday wear.
Super soft and clean fragrance. The tester lasted an eternity on my skin, but on me, nothing, what a pity. It reminds me of Libre but softer, ideal for everyday wear. Not for me, I’m looking for something that leaves a trail and this one doesn’t.
I tried it in-store based on the reviews, went home, hours passed, and even after showering, it still smells of vanilla, lavender, and roses. For me, it’s a resounding yes: I went to buy it and it’s already in my collection. I recommend it for evening or going out; although it’s versatile, it works better for me this way, but it’s also great for daytime, even for work before heading out at night. If it’s very similar to Libre, I use the Intense and love that vanilla note which makes it more persistent. I read it doesn’t last long on the skin, but in my case it lasts a long time, I think it depends on everyone’s pH.
I heard about it in passing in a store because they say it’s a dupe of Libre, but it isn’t. There’s similarity in the declared notes, but it’s like when you cook the same dish: the ingredients are the same, but everyone adds their own touch, and sometimes it results in something completely different. In the case of Icon, it’s a perfume with a strong vanilla presence above all, an undignified vanilla, and they added lavender which worked so well with Libre, but I feel it doesn’t quite fit; they just added it to seem similar, and together it doesn’t result in a thought-out, balanced, or sophisticated job like Libre (which I’m not a fan of, but one has to recognise it’s lovely). The positive about Icon is its low cost and that, being an abuse of vanilla, it will last for sure, unlike Libre or many other vanilla perfumes; it will last about 5 hours, which is plenty for Antonio Banderas. Added to its low cost, it’s good. If you’re looking for something for daily use that won’t hurt your wallet, isn’t a full-on floral, or isn’t such an overwhelming sweet, try it in stores; the brand is very popular and easy to find. It’s also true that perfumes smell different on each person; perhaps on me, it’s not the best match.
Ahh, if they say it’s like Libre, then it must be! It’s a quite potent floral with personality. Although I liked Splendid more; I loved that one because it was chocolatey, milky, feminine, and had a soft floral note. This one, on the contrary, is a potent floral, but like strong detergent. You’ll see if you like acidic florals; that’s how I’d describe it. My favourite remains the other one <3.
It arrived as a gift and I absolutely loved it. I was looking for simpler scents for the day, and this delivers on everything. It’s simple, fresh, sweet, and has medium longevity. I’m surprised by the fruity opening, very juicy; as it settles, the flowers rest on a bed of milky vanilla, yet always fruity and refreshing. It causes me a bit of anosmia; I don’t smell it after a while, but I get many compliments. I’ll definitely use it a lot in summer. I recommend it for its economical price; it’s a very fulfilling scent.

I recommend it for its affordable price; it’s a very fulfilling scent.
Don’t buy the version that comes with the deodorant; it’s faulty. It seems they forgot to put the essence in the perfume; it smells like nothing. I’m not the first to complain about that.
It’s very lovely and feels like a treat. I gifted it to my mum, and now I’m going to buy one for myself.
Delicious, I’ve already bought it for the third time and use it every day. It’s not invasive. Having vanilla, tonka bean, and musk is a dream for me. It projects for about two hours (on my skin), but then it fades. On clothes, it’s very noticeable and literally lasts even after washing. DELICIOUS, lovely, and cheap. BUY BLIND without fear!
Oh no, I didn’t like it at all. It smells extremely harsh. There’s a note I think is tonka bean, which smells cloying and annoying. They let me try it in the store, and I was left smelling like that all day; I hated it.
If it has notes reminiscent of Libre, think of them as cousins in body mist form: sweeter, younger, and lighter. I like it; sometimes I wear it with the other one. I also use it with Cacharel Amor Amor, Burberry Goddess, or Zara Hypnotic Vanilla 🤭🥰. It’s also fine for a quick outing, although unfortunately, its longevity isn’t the best.
It brought back memories of that Ralph Lauren Big Pony 2 mist I used to have.
What a gem, perfect for everyday wear without breaking the bank. I really like it; it smells fruity on my skin and is super feminine. It doesn’t remind me of YSL Libre, though it has something that recalls Nina Ricci a bit. I’m not sure exactly what, but it’s definitely different.
