Descripción
Dior Homme Sport 2021 by Dior is a woody-spicy fragrance for men. Launched in 2022, this olfactory composition was created by François Demachy. In its opening, the perfume unfolds a vibrant combination of lemon, sour lime, bergamot, and aldehydes. The heart of the fragrance reveals the elegance of elemi and the bite of pink pepper. To finish, the base notes settle on a woody foundation that integrates amber and an oliban incense, also known as frankincense.

I tried it three times to see if it was me, the place, the moment or the stars, but the truth is I didn’t like it at all; it smells like something that would suit someone over 40, I think (I’m 25), plus it’s like a citrus that feels a bit sharp and somewhat odd; if I imagined my father using it.
This, gentlemen, smells like cologne, but an expensive and classic one. Pleasant, versatile, timeless. Citrusy and woody. I recommend using it only for formal or semi-formal outfits (shirt wear). If you want to gift it to a chap or a grandpa, it’s also a good option (people tend to associate these scents with older folks and loud ones with children). Alongside Terre d’Hermès, they go down the same path. They smell of class. Despite being perfectly versatile, due to its citrus notes, I recommend using it in spring/summer. If you liked having it or if you are of the Quorum, Agua Brava, Brut, Eminence or Terre d’Hermès style, this will certainly not disappoint you. Excellent longevity and projection. Dior is Dior…
Tested on skin with one spray. It smells the same to me as Dior Homme. Fresh, very masculine, sharp, elegant. Very good in terms of scent for warm climates but I can’t find differences with Dior Homme. I still think they are quality scents but very simple, and the price is somewhat high for what the perfume is, but it smells very well too.
I own more than 80 perfumes and this is undoubtedly the one that chuffs me the most, fresh, elegant, with a longevity and projection off the charts.
A macho alpha perfume, one of my favourites. From the moment you put it on until it fades, it’s a show. Top projection and longevity. Ideal for daily use, for going to the office in spring or summer, though it works well in autumn too. From the Dior Homme line, this is the best for me. Don’t abuse the sprays as it can become overwhelming due to its potency.
I consumed three bottles of batch 2B01 and left my review below; I recently acquired batch 3B01, and apart from the nozzle enhancer being crooked, it does NOT last like the previous one. Those were potent from the first spray, needing no oxidation or maceration. Now it’s too soft, less projected and long-lasting; I had planned to buy several backups of that batch and the worst thing happened. EDIT: After consuming about 20ml, I sense certain minor changes in the aroma. I detect a sort of patchouli (something I hated in the H2020) and a slight, minimal dirty sensation. I’m already bored at this point, what happened? Was there a restriction on an ingredient?
The fragrance is very good: elegant citrus with a woody dry-down. Longevity is moderate and decent for a citrus scent, at least 5 hours. The problem is its projection is almost non-existent; it sits close to the skin after 15 minutes. A perfume that doesn’t project is useless; any kayak from Natura projects more than this. I hope it improves with time. Thank goodness I bought it on offer. I have batch 4F01. I don’t know the early batches to compare its behaviour, but if it has already been reformulated three years after launch, the truth is what many brands are doing is painful.
I came across it thanks to a free sample they gave me along with another perfume; very grateful to that company. This fragrance is spectacular. It starts citrusy and bitter, similar to the yuzu in Eau de Lissey, then turns woody and dark. It’s potent and long-lasting; I applied it on my clothes and, after washing them, it still smelled. Some recommend discretion with sprays. It’s masculine and elegant. Spectacular.
It’s a rich perfume: starts citrusy and sharp, then turns woody. Smells 100% masculine; I can’t imagine it on a woman as it’s very manly. Be warned, only if you like woods like those cut in a carpentry shop. It’s ideal for everyday wear (not for parties or dates, as I don’t find it seductive). It feels rich in the heat, and also in mild or cold climates (not extreme). It’s for those over 23; not for university, but suitable for first jobs upwards, as it’s quite masculine and someone very young might find it serious or old-fashioned. It’s 0% sweet. Longevity is excellent. A bit pricey (not expensive) for daily use, as there are cheaper options. If you want to treat yourself, go ahead.
I bought this bottle to replace my Dior Homme 2020; I liked the scent and wanted to try the Sport version. After three days, I confirm it’s not redundant to own both: they share DNA, but this Sport isn’t for actual sports. Instead, it offers a more casual format compared to the 2020, which I find more musky and perfect for any occasion. The Sport has a woodier, fresher tone, perhaps due to vetiver or the Iso E Super sensation, making it less formal and slightly more mature. I’d use the 2020 for a casual/work look from my 20s, and the Sport for casual outings from my 30s; for nights or something more formal, we have better options.
It is very similar in the opening to L’Eau D’Issey, with that sharp citrus type Yuzu, the acidic lime together with the aldehydes achieve that effect. Subsequently, it loses those citrus and becomes woody, and with a slight touch of the oliban incense and a very subtle sweetness. In this intermediate/final phase it is where it starts to resemble the Dior Homme 2020, being the latter something more elegant and subtle, as it doesn’t have those sharp citrus and yes the Iso E Super which gives it a smell to noble woods, slightly powdery and sweet. Returning to this Sport, it’s a perfume I like more than the Cologne version, both designed for warm/spring climates and informal occasions. However, the Sport is more complex and elegant due to the woods and amber. In conclusion. The entire Dior Homme line is excellently thought out, going from the simplest and freshest (Cologne) to the most sophisticated and elegant (Parfum). In my particular case if I had to choose 2 they would be the Dior Homme 2020 for daily life, and temperate climates, and the Intense for colder climates and special occasions. In addition, by removing the iris note from the Homme 2020, you have two perfumes that are no longer so similar, as they would be the old Dior Homme and the current Intense.
I suppose it was this Homme Sport 2021 that I could try, and I loved it. Of the Dior Hommes I’ve tried, it’s the one I liked most (Dior Homme 2020 and the Intense). The iris note is not my thing. It’s a perfume that reduces to lime + pepper + wood. It sounds super simple and boring, but it isn’t. It’s super masculine, refreshing and although it says Sport, I see it as very good to wear with a suit, shirt. I feel it’s formal, very gentlemanly. There is something floral or clean in the middle. I could say it goes in the same direction as Sauvage because it’s so sparkling, clean and woody, but obviously they aren’t similar. I think it’s super versatile, for me, it’s ideal in practically any moment: going out partying, for a wedding, for going to the gym, I don’t think it looks bad ever. I bought Dior Homme 2020 blindly to go for the safe option. It’s the same as the Sport, but with the bergamot and pepper notes reduced.
When François Demachy reinterpreted the Dior Homme line, negative reviews and insults rained down from reviewers without the slightest objectivity. They just sought clicks to increase views on their channel. The previous Dior Homme Original and Sport with that cloying and feminine iris were not at all current and had become obsolete in the market, both in sales and public taste. This does not mean they were fantastic fragrances. This Dior Homme Sport personally seems ideal as a signature fragrance for a modern man. Sparkling, woody, elegant, casual and above all a distinct fragrance. As for longevity and trail, it fulfils perfectly. As for compliments, well it’s subjective but it pleases those who try it. A perfume with the quality and class of Dior. Now Kurkdjian will reinterpret them and those same reviewers who hated them will say he has committed sacrilege.
I expected something more typical of sporty citrus, but I found a scent that exudes quality from the first spray. The opening is fresh and vibrant, with an elegant citrus that doesn’t feel synthetic or aggressive. Then, little by little, some woody and spicy notes appear that give it character and make it stand out among other perfumes of the same style, it has versatility that makes it perfect for any casual occasion. Definitely, an achievement if you are looking for freshness with a refined touch.
A real perfumazo! Acquired in December 2024 with a super discount, the 75ml version for $50 in Argentina I bought it. It arrived and when I tried it I loved the scent, a well citrusy grapefruit, slightly sweet sparkling with effervescent touches which I calculate must be due to the aldehydes but with performance below average, I used it only 3 times in the first month and it was put away. Occasion for a Saturday outing with 30 degrees and I looked for it because I thought it was the best option for a casual outing, about 10 sprays to make itself noticed and upon arriving at the place starting to greet people 3 people complimented me on how good the perfume I was wearing was! During the night for at least 4 hours I felt bursts of scent and my friend who was right next to me told me he could still smell it. Today Monday I put on the shirt I had worn to wash and moving it I feel bursts of perfume! Unbelievable that a citrus can have this performance, totally in love and satisfied.
After a few months and with 1/4 of the bottle used, I must say I like it more and more, a citrus with great quality that later in its dry down turns into a very woody scent that, as they say around here, makes you feel like you’ve entered a carpenter’s shop where they’ve just cut woods, indeed the dry down is the best of this fragrance, the bitter opening cannot please everyone, you have to know how to wear it, serious personality +30. I must also highlight the robustness of the bottle and its transparent cap, all of very good quality in its lines that gives pleasure to hold in your hands.
My first perfume and signature for 6 years was a bottle of Dior Homme Sport 2017. Rich, masculine, elegant and fresh, but without lasting power. I always noticed it lasted between 4 and 6 hours, which isn’t bad because it’s not recommended for winter or autumn. But this… what a beast. I used it every day for military service, and a comrade of mine bought it for me out of sheer pleasure. It is certainly less elegant than the 2017 version, but it is more vibrant and bright, because the old one had citrus accompanying the woods, whereas this one has woods accompanying the citrus, giving that sharp sensation the old one lacked. Spectacular.
This gem from Demachy is a radiant scent full of character, combining a highly quality citrus opening that, seasoned with pink pepper, offers an elegance and such sensual appeal in the opening that you cannot go unnoticed. High temperatures raise the power of this essence, making it an ideal option for semi-formal outings on summer days. This poem is to highlight; captivating in the opening, elegant in the dry down, midway through it releases notes of woody incense, gently embraced by the slight sweetness of pink pepper which takes the lead in the fragrance’s twilight, accompanying it until its last breath. It is a masterful composition with notable progression in its different facets, supported by satisfactory projection and longevity. In short, it is a safe summer bet if you want to stand out with this ode to modern perfumery.
A very rich, masculine, elegant, and characterful fragrance. It is too rich and addictive. Totally recommended.
Very good for warm weather. Bergamot, pepper and woods are very present. A bit generic, like Nautica Voyage and Versace Pour Homme. But, Dior… it’s Dior!! Nothing elegant, but very wearable for the office, now that the pool parties etc. are starting. It looks super good. 6 hours on my part. Greetings!
I’ve used thousands of bottles and I absolutely love this. It smells expensive and, to be honest, I enjoy it, hahaha. It’s citrusy, quite sharp but pleasant. The trail for the first 30 minutes is unbeatable. The only downside is that it fades afterwards and becomes almost nothing. It’s a pity, as for the price, it feels short-lived. You can’t expect much more from a citrus, though being Dior, I’d dare to demand more. Its scent is addictive. I use it every day and it makes me feel imposing in front of my colleagues. I’ve worn it in cold and heat. It shines more in the heat, but even in the cold I’ve received many compliments. I’d love for it to be my signature… But it’s so expensive that it hurts my stomach thinking about spending $150 on another bottle. To smell good, you just have to apply plenty… I put on about 12 sprays. That’s all I can contribute from my opinion, nothing expert.
French citrus. Opening notes are super sporty, energising, and jovial with quality citrus: realistic lime and real bergamot combined with fresh woods and touches of pink pepper that make it sparkly. It projects for 10-15 minutes. It develops masterfully: the citrus fades and the woods emerge with incense resins, without being smoky. It finishes with that bright Dior touch, making it mature, elegant, and semi-formal. It lasts the life of the perfume. It is an underrated masterpiece, perfectly rounded and versatile. It evokes elegance thanks to noble resins contrasted with excellent citrus, a work of art. Despite projecting at the start, it becomes discreet but elegant, with bearing and character. Perfect for daytime formal events in the heat or classy casual outfits. If I were to define it in one word: old money. A silent aroma but with class.
Incredible, delicious, and sophisticated. The truth is that the SPORT has nothing to envy. It is a rich, pleasant, and energising aroma, ideal for spring, summer, and even autumn during the day. In short: citrus with wood and a sweet touch at the base. Perfect for casual to semi-formal situations.
Mixed feelings. I tried it in a perfumery and loved it. I bought it and have been wearing it for a while, but I am not sure if I really like it. There is a mix of citrus, wood, and something frankincense that bothers me after half an hour. As it dries down, it reminds me of Acqua di Gio Parfum, with less power but more class. Those powerful woody notes I noticed at the beginning do not come out. At 5 hours, it smells like Gary’s Den by FOMO, which I do not like at all. At 7 hours, it resembles the dry-down of Sauvage Elixir, which I do like. It is a changing fragrance with mixed feelings…
I was torn between this version and the Dior Homme 2020 and decided on this one. It feels less ‘sporty’, more versatile and half-elegant, dominated by citrus. I use it for meals or formal occasions in the heat. It is a good perfume, although not incredible. It is a good option if you do not own any citrus and like that scent. The longevity and projection are moderate, but on some days it lasts much longer; for a fresh scent, nothing to complain about. Another point in its favour is the quality; it feels premium for a designer brand. It is a safe, masculine option and ideal if you like citrus and are looking for something semi-formal for the heat. Recommended.
Spectacular! Fresh, super citrusy, and of incredible quality. The longevity is beastly; on my skin, it lasts at least 12 hours. The projection and sillage are excellent because it is citrusy and fresh. I also own the EDT 2020, which neither lasts nor projects half as much, although this one is less citrusy, with softer woods, more formal and subtle. An excellent perfume.
I love this version of Dior Homme Sport. On my skin, it evolves just like in the bottle: it lasts over 12 hours with a single drop and has a moderate sillage, which I like because it isn’t a bomb that takes over the room. It makes a presence without being intrusive. It has a citrus base with woods that gradually take centre stage, accompanied by a very subtle and balanced pinch of pepper. It feels fresh and elegant. Its freshness is different from Eau Sauvage, which is basically an intense lemonade. It is versatile: for the office, friends, or dates, although it is not its strong suit in very polluted areas. I think it is ideal for summer and intermediate climates; in winter, it would get lost due to the citrus. I believe it is for those over 30, perhaps from 25 if you are looking to project authority. I remember the 2012 version as a ‘last lemonade of the desert’ for me, a fine citrus over aromas I didn’t understand but which were elegant. This latest one has left me satisfied.
A curious aroma; it reminds me of restaurant bathrooms recently cleaned. It is fairly citrusy with a hint of pepper, like the 2020 version but with less spice. It smells rich and clean, soap-like, but I don’t think it suits me. I wouldn’t buy it; I prefer the 2020 much more.
It was one of my first loves. It opens with a sharp lemon and then the wood wraps around it almost the entire time. The longevity is beastly: over 12 hours on skin, and it lingers on clothes for weeks. Smells delicious, ideal for formal wear in summer.
10 out of 10. It is elegant and sporty at the same time, among the best from the designers. A very rich citrus with woody notes and that touch of talc that makes it unique.
The most overlooked fragrance in the Homme line, eclipsed by DH Parfum, DH Intense and even DH Cologne. Total mistake. Since I tried it at Druni, it was love at first sight: sparkling, fresh, clean and elegant, a ‘bottled class’. It shines in spring and summer (even at night), but it needs smart attire to show off its brilliance; the only thing ‘Sport’ about it is comparing it to its more packaged sisters. Pleasant to wear yourself or on others, with a sparkling opening, moderate trail and excellent longevity. Ideal for those over 30. A collection gem: 10/10.
Heavily reviewed already, but I will add this: 1. It is linear from start to finish. 2. Upon application, you feel the quality; it is indescribable but evident that it is not cheap. 3. Even if there are a thousand copies, none match the class and elegance that only Dior offers. P.S.: If you want to try the profile but don’t have the budget, go straight for Issay Miyake Vétiver.
A citrusy opening with a subtle, desirable bitterness that evolves into very pleasant white woods as it dries. Dior remains synonymous with quality, and this is no exception. It projects strongly for the first hour with a moderate trail and lasts close to the skin for about six or seven hours. It smells like a clean man, very masculine, elegant yet versatile and easy to wear. A true go-to fragrance, without a doubt.
Clean, sticky freshness from Dior Homme Sport: it begins with potent citrus and a soapy touch that gives immediate energy. As it dries, light woods and pink pepper add character without losing freshness; the amber base balances and adds depth without becoming sweet. It is a summer fragrance, ideal for the day or the gym, with a perfect balance between freshness and elegance, avoiding the talcum powder vibe of other versions. A 9/10: exquisite, modern and uncomplicated.
I preferred Dior 2020; they smell similar, but the 2020 is more complex and much longer-lasting. After three hours, I can still smell the 2020 potently while the Sport has already faded. I don’t know the individual notes, but I suppose it is the Iso E Super that makes the difference.
I own the two most similar versions, the Sport and the DH 2020. I just acquired the latter; I never owned it in five years, and my goodness, literally, the longevity of the 2020 is risible. I think Kurkdjian has done damage to the version created by Demachy. If you are thinking of buying a Dior, buy the Sport version; this one is a beast in terms of longevity. This Sport, being citrusy, lasts, feels pleasant, and ultimately, what you are looking for is a perfume that lasts and smells like a man. A neat, well-groomed man.
What a delight! My partner bought this recently, I accompanied them, and I remember when the sales assistant tried it on her wrist, I exclaimed, ‘Wow, it smells like gin and tonic!’ or perhaps tonic water. It didn’t convince me much at first, but oh my, as the hours passed, I began to like it more and more. A citrusy and fresh scent, ideal for these summer heats; this is the true scent of a man. We tried both versions, and summarily, the EDP didn’t last long on either paper or skin, so if you want this fragrance to last at least eight hours, the EDT will be your best option. It’s a perfume that evolves, progressive as the hours pass. I repeat, I don’t mind the opening; it smells almost bitter and hard to digest at first, but it transforms into pure sophistication. 10/10.
The Dior Homme line has a very distinct personality and quality. In this case, it feels slightly redundant compared to Dior Homme 2020; however, this version is a bit fresher, more dynamic, and versatile. It’s not for formal occasions like other scents in the line, but rather a serious perfume for casual wear. Highly recommended for the office with moderate sprays.
A very good fragrance overall. Versatile, suitable for casual outings, work, or dressing up. It’s noticeable, and it lasts, and it lasts, and it lasts. A safe bet for having a designer scent that isn’t overly ubiquitous.
Guys, this is the most elegant fragrance that exists. I don’t even compare it to previous versions or its siblings in the line; I simply love it. A fresh, seductive, and utterly elegant scent. Perfect for dressing well with character—the typical perfume that calls for at least a shirt and a blazer without being overly formal. Absolutely exquisite, with tremendous longevity on skin and clothes. Superior quality to many others that cost as much or more. Always worth trying before comparing, but I recommend it 100%.
