It’s not that it smells bad, it’s like the Nº 5 but super diluted. If anyone thinks that because it’s a limited edition it will be more concentrated, that it will have a different bottle and that being limited makes it a jewel, well, if it’s for the bottle I recommend it, but forget about others noticing the perfume once you put it on; you won’t even notice it yourself after a few minutes. A total disappointment, paying just for the bottle is a shame, especially with a prestigious house like Chanel.

It doesn’t smell bad, it’s the same as Chanel 5 but super diluted. If you think that because it’s limited it will be more concentrated and the bottle a jewel, you’re wrong. If it’s for the bottle, fine, but forget about others noticing it; you won’t even notice it yourself after a while. Total letdown: paying for the packaging of a house like Chanel is a pity.

  • I like it, although the notes are those of the Nº 5, I perceive a much more marked fresh fruity opening than in the original, where the aldehydes flood everything; they say it’s marketing, be that as it may, I liked it and that’s the only difference I notice. The longevity is excellent on my skin, over 10 hours, and the sillage is heavy, so I apply it with restraint. I was lucky to have two to enjoy it for longer and not cry because it ran out quickly. If you can get it, I recommend trying it, but if the Nº 5 isn’t for you, neither will this version be. Nevertheless, I suggest never going by reviews alone; nothing beats the experience and your own taste.

  • I love it. Although it smells like Chanel 5, here the opening is more fruity and fresh, less overwhelming due to the aldehydes. The longevity is brilliant, over 10 hours, so I apply it with restraint so it leaves a trail. I was lucky to have two and didn’t cry at the end. If the 5 isn’t for you, this won’t be either, but don’t go guided only by reviews, try and decide for yourself.

  • I adore this perfume: feminine, elegant and tender. For me, the aldehydes are much more wearable than in the original and that rich fruity note with elegant vanilla is gorgeous. It’s not the same; it has nuances; it’s like a sparky, rejuvenised sister of the N°5. If I hadn’t let myself be swayed by the comments I wouldn’t have bought it, I found it at a good price and I’m happy to have it.

  • I absolutely love it; it’s super feminine, elegant and tender: Chanel Red Edition. For me, its aldehydes are much more wearable than the classic and yes, it has that rich fruity note and that elegant vanilla of Chanel. It’s not the same as the traditional one; there are nuances. I think it’s a sparky, rejuvenised sister of the Nº 5. If I’d let myself be swayed by the reviews I wouldn’t have bought it, but I found it at a good price and I’m more than happy to have it in my collection.
