Very Good Girl is a delightful fragrance for daily wear, especially in mild or hot temperatures. It’s youthful and very girly. Its older sister, the original, is deeper due to the cocoa and coffee. Here, the rose, lychee, pear, coconut and peony take the lead; it’s a different concept. If you’re a big fan of Good Girl, perhaps this (the red flanker) is a good daytime option, alongside Good Girl Blush (the light pink flanker), and the original Good Girl for the evening. They’re all recommended and very different. Although you might like all of them.
Why do people say it’s similar to Angel Nova? I can’t stand Nova, but this is much less basic and more refined. Ideal for this time of year ❤️. It’s sweet and fresh, although the rose doesn’t stand out much on my skin. I notice the lychee a lot, but it’s not one of those that upsets the stomach. It’s very well made. I’ll keep testing it to see if it develops. Edit: in the dry down, it’s totally the vanilla from Lancôme’s Hypnose.
I feel it’s like smelling a fresh guava with sugar, it’s lovely
I smelled it and… bad experience. If, like me, you don’t like excessively sweet and cloying perfumes, you can’t handle it 🙁
I got the exact opposite of what I expected: instead of a bad girl and a rascal, I felt like a ‘very good girl’. It’s a beautiful, sweet and floral fragrance, super versatile for any occasion. While it keeps the imprint of the original, here it leans towards something more romantic, delicate and glamorous, like fine red velvet. On my skin, it explodes sweet and fruity, powerful and delicious, but unfortunately, it fades quickly. A few minutes later, the rose mixes with the fading fruits, resembling Mademoiselle Ricci but with a more vanilla twist. I agree with the other reviews: I don’t sense the similarity to Angel Nova, just a fleeting touch of red berries at the start. I love it, but it doesn’t last more than 4 hours on my skin with a moderate trail. That said, that red shoe is spectacularly cute!
It sounds very youthful, nothing heavy, sweet and fruity with a fresh touch from the lychee… Very nice, but the longevity on the skin is disappointing; being a CH, I expected more, just like with the original GG which lasts over 9 hours on me. I’m not sure if I’d buy the original again, but I’d look for dupes as it smells pretty. People say it’s similar to Delina and Angel Nova…
After two weeks of use, here’s my take. It has a juicy, very summery fruity opening, with quite a noticeable lychee. It dries down very woody, losing the initial spark and becoming more elegant and sophisticated; I’d say the dry down is better for autumn. The trail on me is quite scarce, only smelling close to the skin, which left me disappointed; it was my first CH purchase and I might not buy another from the brand. It’s a youthful scent (not for teenagers).
I tested it on blotter paper and it smelled extremely acidic, almost like lemon, which was unbearable. After nearly two hours, it softened and smelled lovely, like roses, but I couldn’t stand that acidic scent on my skin for two hours just for a few minutes of roses 🥲.
I hated it.
Very fruity, with a strong lychee note at the start that I absolutely love. However, it has zero projection; it only smells close to the skin and needs constant reapplication. Still, it’s a super rich fragrance.
My wife owns this fragrance and it smells like that exquisite lychee fruit… personally, when she wears it, I feel like taking a bite, hahaha… Recommended for girls who enjoy this fruit
Very different from its older brother, but very lovely. Acidic and a bit spicy. Nothing invasive
How you smell, little shoe! 👠 A cheerful and captivating opening, nothing like Angel Nova or the Delina; they can give a good impression… but absolutely nothing more. A super versatile perfume; people will tell you you smell wonderful. Honestly, I’ve really liked it and when it’s wearable, it adds points. I recommend it 😍 alongside the GG Supreme
Ugh, honestly I let myself be swayed by what others were saying and decided to buy it. I didn’t like it at all, at least on my skin; it smelled like a fancy lady (I’m 25, I’m not interested in smelling like one yet). A complete no; I regret not buying the Good Girl instead 😒
I need the elixir of this fragrance. It’s a juicy, fresh fruity scent that later turns into something somewhat sexy due to the vetiver. I love it, but it doesn’t last more than two hours on my skin. That’s why I don’t own it
I was resisting buying any CH shoe, but now I understand; the reputation is well-deserved. This fragrance is delicious, feminine, sensual, fun, and sweet without being overwhelming. They say it’s similar to the Delina, and it has something of it due to the lychee, but in my opinion VGG is superior; worth mentioning that I didn’t like the Delina nor the Delina Exclusif. The one I find it similar to is the lovely Delina Rosee; it seems like its younger sister, so much so that sometimes I use the Delina Rosee in the morning and VGG in the afternoon ❤️
It’s brilliant. It seems like a calmer, velvetier version of the Delina. It’s a classy girl perfume, elegant, feminine and sensual. If you like the Delina by Parfums de Marley, try this one 100%. WARNING: they aren’t the same, but they share an air; I personally prefer this one much more. It lacks that grassy, sharp rhubarb note found in the Delina; this one is creamier. One of my favourite designer perfumes and, in my opinion, the best of the heels. It has good longevity and trail
What a pity! Such a lovely scent but so shy… You have to go out of your way to find it as it doesn’t project more than a few centimetres from the skin. I’m in a summer that isn’t very hot and I can only smell it with my nose right against the skin… Will it perform better above 30 degrees? I’ll wait for the thermometer to rise and re-evaluate it
I’d been wanting this perfume for ages; I’m a fan of fruity scents and lychee is my favourite fruit, but I was saving up for the Delina. Recently my fiancé gifted me this gem and I must say it’s my ideal scent: I love it. It’s rich, sweet yet sophisticated, youthful but sensual, with great presence while being very considerate to other noses. My only issue is the longevity; perhaps I haven’t tested it properly as I’ve only worn it twice (both times in the morning to go out and sweat), but I really like it. The trail is also a bit scarce—not weak, just could be better. Anyway, I love it and will use it a lot. 8.9/10
Its scent is enchanting all the time: soft, refined and delicate. I bought it at a good price today and have been wearing it for three hours and it remains just as it was at the start. I think I will keep it for outings, especially for the evening. I don’t feel it is for daily wear. The only downside is that it cannot be sprayed on clothes (at least white or light ones) because it stains pink (the liquid is that colour), so BE CAREFUL with that!!!!!
I have the 30ml bottle and it’s left me with plenty because it’s an absolute total turn-on. People can smell it even in restaurants. It’s sexy and elegant; the longevity is brutal—even after a shower, I still feel like I’m wearing it. The price is worth it; with this perfume, you’ll be the centre of attention ❤️
This perfume, unlike its Glam flanker, has a stronger and rosier opening, then settles into feeling sweet and soft with a touch of roses. It is a lovely perfume; I will surely add it to my wishlist, but not yet, because I prefer the Very Good Girl Glam and it is not worth having both at the same time as they are too similar. I don’t feel it is anything like Angel Nova.
What a delicious perfume, feminine, youthful, soft and sweet, yet not cloying. The opening features red currant alongside lychee; on my skin, the rose gives a slight aroma of juicy red apple, giving way to a powdery but fresh touch. I feel it is so versatile for any occasion, but above all for a flirty date or a fresh spring afternoon. Definitely a must-have for any woman.
Sweet and versatile, fruity and sparkling, suitable for any season and occasion. It could be a signature perfume.
I have tried this and La Belle, and what I will say might sound odd: each one reminds me of an alcoholic beverage (although they don’t smell like alcohol, they give that sensation). La Belle by JPG smells like champagne, something fizzy, while Very Good Girl smells like wine. That is why each has a different vibe: La Belle for extroverts and Very Good Girl for mysterious women. You wouldn’t wear them daily; they are for special occasions, elegant moments outside my usual habits and circles, so I wouldn’t buy them even though I adore them, as I can’t find an occasion to wear them.
I love this perfume; it is super versatile, although I would wear it more in summer or spring. Very delicate.
I tried it and on my skin it smells like old-fashioned talcum powder; it lasted about three hours before improving, resembling Victoria Secret’s Bombshell Passion but more feminine and rich. I was going to buy it, but I’m not sure I can stand three hours with that talcum scent ☹️
The blend of lychee and rose reminds me of Angel Nova, although there are differences. The CH option is more refined and less piercing than the opening of the fuchsia star. I love Angel Nova, but the initial opening of Very Good Girl gives me a slight cringe. In Very Good Girl you go straight to the dry-down scent of Angel, with a creamy vanilla base to balance the lychee. I think it is a very good perfume; although it lacks the projection and sillage of Mugler, it is compensated by being more refined and elegant. I have really enjoyed it.
I simply cannot stop repeating that this is my favourite in the entire range. It smells far more sophisticated than the others, likely due to that rose note, yet it avoids the typical ‘grandma’ perfume vibe. It is absolutely delicious and has good longevity; if you enjoy floral-fruity scents, you will adore it.
It is a lovely perfume but doesn’t stand out in a crowd. Nothing wrong or surprising, with basic and few notes. Still, the blend of rose and lychee is executed very well: the rose is youthful and sparkling, without the sharpness of a men’s deodorant (looking at you, Angel Nova), and the lychee doesn’t smell artificial (still looking at you, Angel Nova). I wouldn’t necessarily wear it myself, but I like it. That is more than I can say for the other GGs, as Very Good Girl is far from being another vanilla perfume with honey/coffee/almond notes. It could be a safe option for your collection; it is worth trying if the others haven’t appealed to you. It reminds me of the Dove deodorant with pomegranate and verbena.
To be honest, I didn’t officially like it; I give up on the lychee note. I would like to feel it on someone else; on me, it smells synthetic and even vulgar, what a pity 🥲. I agree that the Hayaatti rose is of the same style in the dry-down, like a younger sister; it doesn’t blow my mind but I like it more considering the price and the type of scent; being more subdued, that one suits me for daily wear. This one did not meet my expectations.
It is nothing new or dazzling in the infinite world of fragrances; it is a scent that has been smelled before in many others… But that doesn’t stop it from being elegant, pleasant and very exquisite; it has left me fascinated. Its lead rose gives it a divine magnificence that encompasses everything, then it moves to a rich vetiver, a powdery and burnt vanilla that, along with the shy notes of lychee and currants, are barely noticeable. It is adorably ambrosiac to my nose. I want it, I’m going for it and I must have it. It is sensual magic, pure glamour and screams good taste!
I don’t like it at all. It’s talc-like, smells of an older woman, and the roses are very prominent. I understand someone might like it, but I prefer younger and fresher scents. From the Good Girl line, my favourite is Supreme.
Hello everyone, I bought this perfume blind after watching many videos and thinking it was good, that I liked everything they said. But oh surprise, it is definitely not for everyone and certainly not for me. I don’t think I’ll finish it, buy it again or even gift it. At first, it gave a slight resemblance to Ángel Nova, but as it evolved and settled, it smelled of old roses, 100% like a withered bouquet, perhaps for a very mature lady. I don’t recommend it because its trail and longevity are non-existent ;(
Very versatile, receives compliments and lasts for hours.
This perfume is spectacular. The fruity opening is exquisite. The base is slightly dark and dense, but it doesn’t last and fades within a few hours.
Personally, I love it. You can tell that creamy, vanillaised lychee (an expensive vanilla, not cheap), along with those currants, blend perfectly to give a slightly talc-like touch, just a little, fine, without reaching grandma’s powder. It’s sexy, versatile, girly and makes you feel more feminine. I love it 💕💞
It is an incredibly potent rose with an acidic touch. If you like sour fruits, you’ll understand that mouth-feel that sweets give; this flanker of Good Girl gives me exactly that. I loved it, and I feel it gives that vibe of smelling clean.
A friend of my mother gifted me this in 2024. I first wore it last year to keep it separate from my usual scents and use it as it deserves. My mother finds it cloying and youthful, so she passed it to me. I tried it in May on the Mediterranean coast, at night when it’s hot, because it is very sweet and would be overwhelming in the day. On me, it smells of sour red fruits with vanilla to sweeten them; then comes the vetiver, though the strawberries always linger. I also wore it in winter, especially at Christmas, and it made me feel utterly cheerful. Here, with the humidity, the projection is brutal; it stays tattooed on skin and clothes. The vetiver is common around here, so I feel affection when I notice it all night, although if I wake up in the morning after a night out, smelling it in my hair gives me nausea. In short, it’s a bonbon for the night in humid climates: juicy, cloying and thick, just what I like in the Mediterranean 😚
The classic Good Girl remains my favourite, but with this one, I have not a shred of connection. It was a birthday gift and I’ve had it tucked away for ages; finishing it is a nightmare because it smells too linear and simply doesn’t seduce me.
