I love it🫶. I wore several perfumes and this one overshadowed them all; hours later, I could only still detect this one. Simply delicious💜
I love it🫶. I wore several perfumes and this one overshadowed them all; hours later, I could only still smell this one. Simply delicious💜
I didn’t like it at all. It opens with a cherry scent, then turns into a sweet caramel that doesn’t last at all. Afterwards, there’s a rose that smells like 90s lipstick. Very soft for the price it has. Neroli? Cocoa? They seem to have disappeared somewhere.
It’s the improved version of Little Red Riding Hood. I tested it alongside the original and the Elixir wins: it projects more, lasts longer, and is richer and sweeter. In the opening, almonds dominate with a touch of neroli and cherries. It reminded me of La Nuit Tresor Intense. Although I wouldn’t buy it right now if I already own the Lancôme one, I’m not ruling it out for the future.
I bought it blind and have no regrets. At first, it’s a bomb of cherries; I know I’m not a fan of that note (nor of Tom Ford), but then it fades to reveal vanilla and roses that last for hours. I absolutely loved it. I’d wear it at night in winter.

The opening is beautiful and left me speechless, but in 20 minutes comes the crash. The dry-down is fussy and reminds me of BO Over Red. It’s only worth the fleeting opening, so buying the bottle doesn’t pay off. The trail and longevity are ‘hello and goodbye’.
It’s the improved version of the Little Red Shoe. I tried it alongside the original and the Elixir wins: it projects more, lasts longer, and is more intense and sweet. The opening is incredible, and the dry-down is identical to the first VGG. The longevity is decent, but I think the Elixir is too big for it.
Brutal opening, a sexy cherry that explodes instantly. The downside is it fades in half an hour, leaving a sweet, floral and creamy trail. It performs well for the first 2-3 hours, then stays close to the skin until 6-7 hours. For €100 and that longevity, it’s a steal, but since the scent is so addictive, I’ll buy it for my partner again.
I expected it to be the strong version of the original VGG, but it’s nothing like it. It resembles Black Opium Over Red more. I don’t notice the rose or the VGG DNA, just cherry and too much cocoa which ruins it. It disappointed me hugely and doesn’t deserve to share a name with the original.
The opening is a sexy cherry explosion, but it lasts only half an hour. Then a sweet, floral and creamy scent remains. It lasts the first three hours, but afterwards it’s just a skin trail until seven. For €100 and this longevity, it’s a rip-off, but the scent is so good I’ll gift it to my partner.
For me, it’s a complete miss. I’ve been a fan of the original VGG since launch and was hoping for a more potent version, like they did with Good Girl Blush. There’s nothing like it. It smells much more like Black Opium Over Red, but with a note that doesn’t suit me. I don’t detect the rose or the VGG DNA (though if you concentrate, there’s a nod), just cherry, cherry and lots of cacao, which I can’t quite place. The original VGG smells different, so adding cacao seems like a fatal error. I tried it on my hand and thought it might improve, but it always smells off. I’ve been hugely disappointed; I expected the scent of the year, but this isn’t worth sharing a name with its mother.
It’s a bomb of dark, sweet cherry at the start, super sexy. As it dries, the almond dominates and reminds me of VGG Glam. The cocoa seems like a mistake because it leaves a bitter finish I dislike. It’s synthetic and lacks elegance, but ideal for a winter night out.
I love it; it’s my new baby. Super sweet, sexy, and very almond-forward; I detect more almond and cherry than in other versions. After a few hours, I start to notice the cacao and vanilla. I don’t detect the rose. Still, I think it’s not for everyone; it’s a very particular and youthful fragrance.
It’s my new favourite: super sweet, sexy and almond-y. At first, you smell the cherry and almond, then the cocoa and vanilla emerge. I don’t detect the rose. It’s a very particular and youthful fragrance, not for everyone.
I love it because my skin makes the almond stand out and the cherry fade. It clings quite well to my skin. I’d like to add it to my collection alongside VGG and New Red, though I still haven’t decided to buy it.
The scent is divine and naturally super-cherry with almond and vanilla, but it vanishes in 30 minutes. I fell in love with the fresh, real aroma, but I feel cheated by the longevity. If I find it on offer, I’ll buy it, but at this price, it’s not worth it.
It’s a brutal cherry with vanilla and cocoa, without being cloying. If you can’t stand cherry, run, but if you adore it, you’ll truly love this.
At first, it repelled me; it smelled of cherry medicinal syrup, but then it settled into a rich, sweet, vanilla-almond scent. It lasted four hours, but it’s not for me because first impressions are everything. If you love heavy cherry, it might suit you.
I don’t understand many reviews. Surely it was this one??? I put a tiny sample in the bedroom. My husband asked from two rooms away. I put it on at 4pm, at 9pm I let my hair down and it still smelled a treat, without clothes on. It’s 10am and it still smells. For me, it’s been madness. Oh, and it doesn’t smell like syrup cherry because I swear I can’t stand it. It’s the mixture of cherry and rose that is brilliant. It’s super sexy in my opinion.
The first time I tried it (a 3ml decant), I was unpleasantly surprised: it smelled very acidic, like lime, and I had to take it off. BUT… a month later, without touching it, it changed completely. Now it’s a soft rose scent, with an intense base but without that acidity. The cherry is pleasant at the start. Perhaps those who found it artificial were just reacting to it being brand new. Decants macerate quickly, I suppose that was the issue.
On my skin, the almond, rose and cacao stand out and don’t suit me at all.
The first time I tested it (3ml decant), I was surprised in a bad way. It smelled very acidic and I had to take it off, like lime or something unpleasant. BUT… a month later in its atomiser without being touched, it changed completely. It became a soft rose aroma, intense base but without that acidity. The cherry is perceived at the opening, very pleasant. I think those who found it artificial were because it was very new. Decants macerate faster, I suppose that was it.
Almond, rose, and cocoa stand out on me… and I don’t like it at all…
Lasts or doesn’t last… I don’t understand the divided opinions. Will some buy from dubious sources? Remember that clones are everywhere these days.
DragonReview — Very Good Girl Elixir: Just to clarify, I love citrus and vanilla, so this doesn’t connect with me. I tried it out of curiosity. It’s sweet at first with almondised cherry, then shifts to a strong floral that isn’t my style, though I understand its charm. The opening is the best: ripe almondised cherry, sweet without being cloying, very pleasant. Opening: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆. On the skin it becomes an intense floral; the neroli smothers the fruit and it’s far too strong; I expected to smell the rose with the cherry. Dry down: ⭐⭐☆☆☆. A few drops leave a moderate trail; more is overwhelming. It works better outside than in. Sillage: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆. It lasted 3-4 hours with projection and 7-8 hours close to the skin in mild weather, depending on the person. Longevity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆. The base remains floral and heavy, especially indoors; it didn’t evolve nicely and becomes tiring after a while. Personal rating: ⭐⭐☆☆☆.
My first heel and I love it!!!
🐉 DragonReview — Very Good Girl Elixir: My tastes are citrusy and vanilla-based, so this doesn’t connect much. Still, I tested it to explore new scents. Sweet at the start with cherry and an almond touch, then it shifts to a strong floral. It’s not my style, but I understand its charm. The dry down is the best: ripe cherry with an almond touch, sweet without being cloying, very pleasant. Dry down: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆. On my skin, it becomes an intense floral, where the neroli covers the fruity notes and it’s too strong, unexpected because I expected rose with cherry. Dry down: ⭐⭐☆☆☆. With few sprays it leaves a moderate trail; with more, it becomes intense and overwhelming. Better outdoors than indoors. Sillage: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆. Longevity is good on skin, 3-4 hours with moderate sillage and around 7-8 hours close to the skin in temperate weather. Longevity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆. The base remains very floral and heavy in enclosed spaces, it didn’t evolve nicely and feels tired. Personal rating: ⭐⭐☆☆☆.
Normally I don’t comment, but I wanted to share: definitely, I am NOT a fan of cherry perfumes (nor fruity ones), but this is one I enjoyed and want in my collection. Cherry and almond are the main notes, although the almond stands out more, making the cherry less citrusy and more subtle. Cocoa is third, but combined with the almond, it gives the cherry a creamy and sweet aroma. For those who don’t love cherry but want variety, it’s a good option. Hope this was helpful.
Normally I don’t comment, but I wanted to share: I definitely am not a fan of cherry perfumes (nor fruity notes in general), but I enjoyed this one and want it in my collection. Cherry and almond are the main notes, but the almond stands out more, making the cherry less citrusy and more subtle. Third comes the cocoa, which I don’t think highlights as much. The almond-cocoa combo gives the cherry a creamy and sweet touch. For those who don’t love cherry but want variety, it’s a good option. Hope this helps.
In my skin, lychee and cocoa stand out when it dries. It’s an improved version of the traditional, less flat and with more elegant floral and woody notes, unlike Angel Nova. It has similarities with the traditional Good Girl but with lychee and cocoa. It’s super sexy, with strong longevity and sillage to the point of being overwhelming.
Very good perfume, I’ve tested it several times on my skin because, although I like it, I wasn’t sure if it suited me. Within the Good Girl line, after the original, this is the one that comes closest to my style, but it goes too far into gourmand territory. The cherry is very pretty and not artificial, without that medicinal smell I notice in others. The problem is the almond: once it dries, it dominates everything and smells like torrijas with a cherry twist. It’s not unpleasant, but gourmand scents overwhelm me. For those seeking an elegant and gourmand cherry, it’s fantastic, but gourmand scents aren’t for me, so unfortunately, it’s not for me.
Cherry and almond to the max, with an acidic opening that the cocoa and vanilla try to balance, but it smells like cough syrup, so it’s not for me. I was gifted it in a flankers kit and it was the one I liked the least; I’ve tried many Good Girl versions and most disappoint because they’re nothing special, the original remains the king. Carolina Herrera has played a masterstroke with the heels as collectible pieces, making them unique and addictive, but this perfume smells medicinal and I don’t think it will last on my skin. Overall, I’m not a fan of the cherry note, so perhaps it’s for someone else.
