I went to try it in the perfumery and the truth is, it doesn’t last even an hour. The trail is non-existent; you can only smell it right next to the skin. Don’t waste your money; it’s not worth it. The only thing that works for it is the bottle design.

I went to try it at the perfumeries and it doesn’t last even an hour; the trail is non-existent, it only smells right up against the skin. Don’t bother buying it, it’s not worth it. The only thing it has going for it is the bottle design.

  • I loved it, and I don’t love the classic 212 VIP Rose; I find it too mature for women. I tried it to get to know it, and after two hours, the sweet vanilla aroma combined with the distinguished lychee was still there. It reminds me a lot of the lychee in Angel Nova by Mugler. I also tried it because I wanted to buy a perfume and compare the two to decide. Obviously, Angel Nova has more projection with its acidity and the raspberry, but I stuck with 212 Elixir because the cold is coming and I found it more suitable. After four hours, I went for a shower and I could still smell it on my skin. I feel it was a good choice.

I just tried it on my skin in a perfumery and I absolutely loved it. It’s exquisite, sweet, talcum-powdered, and refined; on my skin, it reminds me a lot of Mon Paris, which I’m a huge fan of, so it was hard not to like it. By the way, the bottle is very elegant with that super feminine sheen.

I just tried it in the perfumery and I love it; it’s exquisite, sweet, musky, refined, and very similar to my skin compared to Mon Paris, which I’m a huge fan of, so it was hard not to like it. Also, the bottle is very elegant with that super feminine sheen.

I tried it on my skin and it just smells of patchouli: strong and intense to the point of stealing the show, with nothing else distinguishable. It’s not for me; I was looking for something sweet and fresh at the same time, and this isn’t it.

  • Perfumiris

Acidic lychee blended with rose and quite a bit of patchouli, nothing too sweet. For me, patchouli sometimes smells like grape juice, and this is exactly one of those. It’s a lovely floral chypre, but it doesn’t stand out too much.

  • Patchouli rules here; it’s the dominant note that overpowers the lychee. Of all the notes, this is the one that stands out most on the skin.

To me, it smells very much like Midnight Trésor. For now, it is not worth it if I already have the Trésor 🤷🏼

  • The 212 VIP Rosé Elixir is a quintessential fruity-floral fragrance and undoubtedly one of the best in the women’s designer market in 2024. The presence of lychee is unmistakable, and the peach blossom adds a beautiful and distinctive touch, complemented by subtle musk. The olfactory experience is truly delightful. Carolina Herrera has accustomed us to hit after hit, and they do not fail here. The price-quality ratio seems more than acceptable, as does its performance. I recommend it and affirm that for fans of fruity-floral scents, this is something they cannot miss.

  • It drove me crazy; it’s incredible how it attracts me. It is a perfume that grabs attention instantly, feminine, with great presence and a sensuality that commands. I agree with Guts98: the olfactory experience of Carolina Herrera is truly delightful. At first, the lychee is prominent, with a tropical and sweet scent that adds sophistication. It mixes almost immediately with the flowers; the ones I notice most are rose and peach blossom, the latter adding a slight sweetness and velvety sensation, making it more refined. The base is a common but enveloping combination: musk, vanilla, and patchouli, with vanilla being the most noticeable. Each note fulfils its role: patchouli adds strength, vanilla sweetens, and musk softens. Although it is potent at first with prominent sillage, its longevity is typical: it lasts a maximum of three hours and then drops considerably, remaining as an ambient scent or only perceptible if someone approaches you. In my opinion, I do not like the bottle; all the feminine bottles in the VIP line have that pill shape with glitter, which is very uncomfortable to wear. This is purely my opinion. I feel it suits any occasion, perhaps avoiding unbearable heat or summer. In summary: do I recommend it? Yes, totally. Although it is not moderate in price, it is a bomb and an addictive scent. It has a distinct, sensual, and striking smell. If you want to stand out, it is an excellent option.

It has turned into a delicious perfume. After spending the whole day with one that complicated my life, I put this on to sleep, and wow, what a fragrance. Truly, a delight. First came the mandarin and peach blossom, then some flowers, perhaps rose, and I haven’t reached the patchouli yet, but it was a breath of fresh air. All day I suffered with the other one searching for its gentle side, but with this, my olfactory senses rested. I truly came back to life and fell in love. It was love at second sniff, because the second time I wore it, today, it gave me a genuine moment of exclusive happiness.

What a beautiful blend of fruits, flowers, and patchouli; this perfume has something that makes me always want to smell it.

  • It’s a beast – elegant and bold, pure intoxication. The bottle is a jewel, with that shine that reminds me of an evening gown. I save it for nights, dates, parties, or important dinners. The longevity and trail are brutal; people have complimented me hours after I applied it.

  • Incredible, elegant, and bold, absolutely captivating. The bottle is a gem with that glitter that reminds me of a red carpet gown. I see it more for evening dates, parties, or important dinners. It has brutal longevity and sillage; I have received compliments hours after applying it.

Delicious. I detect it as more fruity than floral: a perfect blend of peach, champagne, and a hint of rose. The best part is that interesting kick, almost like pepper. On my dry skin, it lasts about five hours, fading to skin scent by the end. The projection is low.

  • Blondielicious

To be honest, it is delicate, delicious, and enjoyable. When I tested it in the perfumery, I felt freshness, elegance, and femininity. I detected a fizzy note like pink champagne (which the 212 VIP Rosé does have), although this one doesn’t. That day I took the Good Girl Blush in 150ml. A few days ago I tried the Elixir, and it is much softer and more powdery. It remains delicious, but I almost can’t smell it on. It is rich and highly recommended blind: a very girly, pleasant scent, neither cloying nor overwhelming. Very modest and for personal enjoyment, ideal for working in a closed environment. Packaging 10/10, Scent 9/10, Projection 6/10, Versatility 9/10.

Delicious. I perceive it more fruity than floral; it’s a perfect blend of peach with champagne and some roses. However, the most notable thing is an interesting tingling, almost a hint of pepper. The longevity on my skin (which is very dry and needs moisturiser) is about five hours, fading to skin scent at the end. The projection is low.

  • Good longevity; rose and lychee stand out, followed by freesia and vanilla. You can definitely detect the peach blossom. It reminds me of other perfumes; it’s rich and ideal for a winter evening. It is feminine, elegant, and has its own identity. I didn’t buy it because it sounded like two I already own, and I was looking for something citrusy for summer. I’ll try it next winter.

  • Woman in Love

Very feminine and sweet, with a rose note that is cute but nothing revolutionary. The longevity and sillage are merely average.
