Supremacy Silver by Afnan

I don’t see it matching Creed Aventus or CDN Intense; those two are much closer, especially in the dry-down. Supremacy Silver smells better at first, with immediate pineapple and wood notes, but after 10 minutes it becomes a boring scent with no projection. It lingers on the skin quietly for about 4-5 hours, but without much to say about it. CDN Intense remains the best dupe.

There’s nothing more to say about another Explorer or CDN Intense, but personally, it doesn’t smell like wet earth and moss like the other Aventus dupes that give me that characteristic scent. When I bought it, I stepped out of my comfort zone, but I have no regrets because I finally entered this ‘place’ I never wanted to explore; if you like it, buy it. It’s very rich, and a colleague said: ‘I didn’t like this smell at all, but the more I smelled it, the more addicted I became’. That’s a plus. I agree with some comments regarding longevity: if it’s a bit disappointing, I’ll let it sit for a month to see if it develops other nuances and better longevity. I think it’s a very rich fragrance, but I feel its projection is weak. A strong point is that it evolves and becomes rich. I’m looking for alternatives to CDN, but despite its good initial scent, I don’t think I’ll buy it again. I don’t feel it projects much. It’s more personal; I don’t think anyone will smell it unless they are very close. It’s fine for the office or school, or enclosed places where you don’t want to bother others.

I tried it in-store and it was a disappointment for me. I’d say it’s practically the same as Vibrant Leather but with a worse opening (sharper and unpleasant) and then a slightly sweeter dry-down. As for longevity and projection, I can’t say much, but I felt it was much weaker and softer than I imagined from the reviews… For me, it’s not a good purchase.

This is the one, it’s the one. For anyone wondering which Supremacy version by Afnan is the best, SUPREMACY SILVER is it. An enveloping, long-lasting, citrusy and fresh fragrance that makes you smell clean and hygienic. A delicacy. The price/quality ratio is insane…

This one or CDNI?

As a friend said, it’s a complete Vibrant Leather; ZVL was missing the Aventus notes and here they are. It’s more potent and evolves, adding wood and a soft smoky touch after 45 minutes. It’s a blend of ZVL and Loewe Esencia EDP. Supremacy Silver ends that ‘vapourous’ sensation of ZVL that offers poor longevity and projection. You no longer need to spray ZVL ten times like a freshener to last 3-4 hours. With six sprays of Silver, you reach six hours—more solid results than Zara’s flagship. I like it more than Supremacy Not Only Intense, which is very sweet and incense-like from the start. Silver is citrusy, fruity, woody, and smoky, with acceptable longevity and better projection than ZVL. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. The search for the ideal Aventus clone is over. EUREKA! If you want something similar to Aventus at a good price, this is the best I’ve smelled (better than ZVL, L’Aventure, Club de Nuit, and even Not Only Intense). If you’re looking for something that improves on Aventus, go for Loewe Esencia EDP. Of the Arabic fragrances I’ve tried, this is the most successful at cloning great creations. ABSOLUTELY RECOMENDED. It doesn’t matter that promoting its consumption raises prices and goes against my interest; it’s worth it, we’re here to share.

I just compared it to Aventus and concluded it’s a complete Zara Vibrant Leather, meaning a Zara with the notes it lacked to give Aventus its weight. It’s identical to Aventus but with three differences: 1. It has a slightly brighter bergamot (if Aventus is 10 on citrus, Supremacy is 11), but it doesn’t bother like the recent reformulations of Vibrant Leather. 2. Instead of the irritating smoke, it has wood that gives the same sensation without the itch. 3. An alcoholic opening that fades in 10 minutes. After 15 minutes it becomes more smoky or gives the impression of it, getting closer to Aventus (if Aventus is 10 on smoke, Supremacy is 7-8). If you like Aventus and Zara, it’s perfect because it has no weird notes; it’s a well-made clone. Edit: after months of use, I add that although the opening is explosive, it seems to last longer, but it doesn’t. That base left on clothes isn’t very noticeable. It lasts decently but doesn’t reach Aventus’ longevity, probably because it’s more citrusy and lacks smoke (it has wood that resembles smoke). Anyway, for the price, it’s a great buy.

This is my first review and I want to share my impressions for those thinking about buying this perfume. People have spoken highly of it, yet I didn’t have high expectations and still came away with some surprises. The opening is scandalous, a mix of scents I can’t quite identify. I don’t feel notes of apple, pineapple, or blackcurrant, but rather bergamot, a citrus that reminds me of mandarins. In its development, it follows that strong citrus mixed with a metallic touch, and in its dry-down, that ‘aroma’ is very noticeable along with the leather and wood. I didn’t like it at all because it’s not my style and I feel it’s a very synthetic smell. If you want to attract attention, it’s good, but for others’ impressions, they’ll be ‘struck’ by the perfume you’re wearing. Don’t expect comments like ‘you smell delicious’ unless you ask ‘what perfume are you wearing?’, but due to the strange and loud scent. DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING BLIND. My score is 6/10.

A clone of Aventus with a fairly fresh, clear, and bright opening. As it progresses, it gets darker and resembles Aventus more. Yes, I liked it. It didn’t drive me crazy either.

Friends, this is indeed the Aventus clone, the Silver and not the Supremacy Not Only Intense (what a stupid name, my goodness) which has created huge confusion among the global Aventus tribe. For life ignoramuses like me, this Supremacy Silver doesn’t copy (much or at all) Aventus, but rather Nishane Hacivat or Mancera Cedrat Buasé. You’re laughing all the way to the bank, because according to the snooty olfactory professors who currently dominate the internet underworld, all apprentices of Mr Maestro Morillas, Dominic Ropion, and Jean Claude Ellena, the Not Only Intense ‘is softer citrus, with delicate and elegant jasmine flowers, and a more modest wood than Aventus, dominated by smoked pineapple, blackcurrants, birch wood, and musk’, hurray, hurray hurray, as the sacred modern perfumery Quran dictates. Problem: this Supremacy Silver of mine lasts less on skin than a Calippo in the middle of the Sahara desert. Look at how much the Club de Nuit Intense Man has snooty haters: ‘what if its opening is horrible, what if it smells like floor cleaner, what if the bottle is too chatty, what if it’s been reformulated twenty times to sell flankers’. The Club de Nuit Intense Man is, was, and will be a two-cojones perfume and lasts longer than a Duracell battery. This one, however, as much as a Creed-inspired clone, doesn’t last much on my skin. It reminds me of a famous Zara perfume I don’t want to remember. I’ll light up Nikos Sculpture in an onanistic way, 16 euros, 100ml, in honour of Mr Creed, Mr Nishane, Mr Mancera, and Mr Mussa. Salut i força al canut.

Bought it and it is definitely Creed Aventus. I’ll test it properly for Father’s Day as one should; I sprayed it three times on my left hand. The real test will be over in the next few days, and I’ll write a follow-up review. Best wishes.

In my relentless and stubborn quest to find Aventus clones, I arrived at this Afnan. I’ve wanted it for some time, but only now that my finances have stabilised could I afford it and others. It’s incredible how each clone has its own particular touch without straying from Aventus; the more clones I know, the more convinced I am that Aventus is sadly not worth the money. This Afnan, along with Zara, is the closest to Aventus in both scent and performance. At the price point, you can buy as much as you like. In my top list of clones tried, considering cost-to-benefit, it would be: 1. Club de Nuit Intense (smoky citrus), 2. Afnan Supremacy Silver (smoky fruity citrus), 3. Zara Vibrant Leather (lightly smoky fruity), 4. Montblanc Explorer (amber woody citrus), 5. Club de Nuit Parfum (intense smoky citrus). And my definitive top list: 1. Hacivat Nishane, 2. Creed Aventus, 3. Club de Nuit Intense, 4. Afnan Silver, 5. Cedrat Boise. Creed 2022 is good, but so similar to Zara and Afnan that Club de Nuit itself is more similar to older Creed batches, while Hacivat adds a distinct mossy touch with tremendous longevity. In short, this Afnan has the Creed/Zara opening; at 30 minutes, it becomes Club de Nuit. If you like Club de Nuit but not its loud opening, this is for you. Longevity and projection are just slightly lower than CDNI.

Reminds me a lot of Zara Vibrant Leather but less fresh and more smoky. Not a beast in terms of longevity, but it has better performance than Zara. What I don’t like about this fragrance is its dry-down.

In my view, it’s perfect, better than Club de Nuit and other Aventus clones. It lasts a long time but is very subtle and synthetic. Worth trying given the price.
