  • Update after wearing it for longer. To those saying it doesn’t resemble JPG Absolu, you should go to the doctor, because it certainly does. It’s a JPG Absolu plus Dunkhan. Longevity is extreme. Warning: it causes olfactory fatigue due to its potency; take note.

  • Spiced, sensual, sweet, and elegant, with a mysterious touch that caught me by surprise when I bought it blind. To my nose, it smells a bit like 1 Million Elixir, mixed with the aromas I mentioned in the comparison section, but with its own charm. The trail is good, very potent, and it projects for real. I’ve had it for barely an hour and I’m already happier with this purchase than with perfumes much more expensive that shine by their absence at the time. Definitely, it’s one of those ‘good, beautiful, and cheap’.

  • I have it and I absolutely love it. The aromatic quality is top-tier among 9 PM fragrances; it comes out like JPG Absolu mixed with Khamrah Dunkhan, which is rare. I bought it brand new, made in July, had it in August, let it oxidise and massaged it for a couple of weeks, and it improved night and night in terms of strength and projection. It’s rich, but not to the hype they give it. You can detect the leather towards the end; in my opinion, it’s more mature, spiced, and leathery, perhaps that’s what doesn’t appeal to the younger crowd.

  • Spicy, sensual, sweet, elegant, and slightly mysterious… these are the words that come to mind in my first impressions after buying it blind. My nose reminds me a bit of 1 Million Elixir, with a touch of the fragrances already mentioned in the ‘reminds me of’ section, and at the same time, a bit of its own charm. As for the trail, it seems good, as it feels very potent; and it definitely projects very well. I think I’ve had this fragrance for just over an hour and already feel happier with this purchase than with others of much more expensive perfumes, which after an hour shine by their absence. This is one of the ‘good, beautiful, and cheap’ ones.

  • I received 9 PM Elixir yesterday. Initial note: don’t over-spray. On the skin and in the heart, it smells like Khamrah Dukan with Le Male Elixir Absolu. Lots of trail, lots of projection. Ideal use for nights out and cold evenings; it has nothing to offer in spring and summer. A proper stinker, I tell you.

  • 9 PM Elixir has that very marked designer fragrance vibe. You can clearly detect the cardamom, leather, vanilla, and lavender, composing a well-rounded, warm, and modern aroma. It’s a mass-pleaser, easy to wear and to please in almost any setting. I struggle to find a similarity to say it’s a clone or direct inspiration. It approaches Le Male Elixir Absolu, but only slightly. Personally, I see it as closer to The Scent Elixir by Hugo Boss. The performance is excellent, with great longevity and projection. In short, an outstanding option for lovers of non-challenging designer fragrances, but at an Arabic perfume price; a very smart purchase.

  • I’m commenting again after using it for a while. To those saying it doesn’t smell like JPG Absolu, better check yourself, because it’s identical. It’s a JPG Absolu with a touch of Dukan. Longevity is extreme; beware: it causes olfactory fatigue because it’s so potent; take note.

  • Silver fragance

When a perfume smells like everyone else at once, it’s unique but hardly innovative, and this is exactly that: very current and easy to like. It bears little resemblance to Le Male Absolu or Khamrah Dukan, save for the dry-down. There’s no trace of the original 9 PM, Hugo Boss Elixir, or Absolu. The dry-down does recall Zara’s Sand Desert Intense and, in general, other Frankers in the Khamrah line without copying any of them. Good longevity, average projection, it doesn’t reinvent the wheel, yet it smells wonderful; a welcome addition to any collection.

When a perfume smells like so many others at once, it’s unique but hardly innovative, and this is exactly that: very current and easy to like. Does it resemble Le Male Absolu? Very little, though something. Does it resemble Dukan’s Khamrah? Almost nothing, save for the dry-down. Does it resemble the original 9 PM? Nothing at any point. Does it resemble Hugo Boss Elixir or Absolu? Also nothing. The dry-down recalls Zara’s Sand Desert Intense. In general, it could be another Franker from the Khamrah line without resembling any of them. Good longevity, average projection, it doesn’t reinvent the wheel but smells wonderful and is a welcome addition to any collection.

  • Perfume en proceso

I’ve already had the chance to try it and spray it on my skin, and I must say it smells delicious. The vanilla isn’t complex at all, but it’s very rich, and with that pepper accompaniment, it makes it delightful. With just one spray on my skin, I’ve had it for 10 hours. I can’t comment on projection yet as I didn’t use much, but I’ll update this when I do.

  • Similar to Absol, but when I tested both on blotter, I felt that JPG had something that made it darker than this one.

  • I tested it on a blotter this weekend and have a love-hate relationship with the fragrance. First: like almost all 9PM scents (not the 9:00am ones, Dive, it’s you!), it’s a beast in terms of longevity. It shares much with the DNA of Le Male Elixir; I haven’t tried Absol to see how similar it is to this or the Elixir itself, but I perceive it as a Le Male Elixir that’s slightly spicier, which I don’t enjoy as much. I see it as an ideal fragrance for people over 40, though it shouldn’t take long before it becomes mass-market. Among all the 9:00PM scents, my favourite will still be the classic, even with its mass appeal.

Although my city is usually an oven, these dates have gifted us some fresh days. On Monday I felt brave enough to try this perfume for the first time, which I’ve been keeping for a month. I used it at a work meeting and my colleagues flooded me with compliments. If you’re looking for compliments, don’t think twice: you’re safe. Besides, it has good projection and longevity.

My city is usually hot, but these dates have gifted us with slightly cooler days. On Monday, I decided to wear it for the first time; I bought it a month ago. I wore it to a work meeting and received compliments from my colleagues. So, if you’re looking for compliments, don’t think twice—you’re safe with this perfume. Plus, it offers good projection and longevity.

I bought it recently and it is one of those 10/10 perfumes: it has everything. Rich aroma, projection and trail. It’s sweet but spicy, slightly peppery and resinous. There is nothing to say; it’s an Arab jewel that sits between Le Male Elixir Absolu and Khamrah Dukhan. The latter is personal, but it reminds me of 1 Million Elixir; it has the same vibes but doesn’t go that way. Longevity: 10/10. If you wear it in the afternoon, you’ll still be wearing it the next morning. It lasts perfectly for those nine hours, holding up like a dream. Projection: 9/10. It’s perfectly noticeable at two metres and a bit more for the first few hours, about three in which it makes itself felt. That’s why I recommend not abusing the sprays; it’s one of those loud fragrances that impose presence. Trail: 9/10. It’s quite heavy until the second hour, then becomes moderate until the third, after which it gets softer. It’s not huge, but for some it could reach beastmode status. In my humble opinion, there are beastmodes that are more beast-like, but this one definitely stands out and is very noticeable. In a large room, you will definitely feel it and want to. Aroma: 20/10. The scent is crazy, too rich, feels very natural, with well-blended notes and doesn’t smell synthetic at all. It’s very well crafted. Originality: 6/10. While it has its own path, it draws inspiration from fragrances like Dukhan and Le Male Elixir Absolu (they are not clones, but the resemblance is extremely noticeable) and does it very well. Versatility: 6/10. One must consider that it is sweet, not cloying, so I recommend it for autumn, winter and early spring. If you use it in summer, do it at night and with few sprays. I see it as a party fragrance due to its potency, but also for dates or going out with friends (if it’s not too hot). At the gym, under no circumstances. At work it could be invasive; there are better perfumes for that, but with few sprays I don’t see why not. If we go by age, I see it as versatile from 20 years old onwards; you can wear it without any problem.

I bought it recently and it’s a 10/10; it has everything: rich aroma, projection, and trail. It’s sweet but with a spiced, spicy, and resinous touch. It’s an Arabic gem that sits between Le Male Elixir Absolu and Khamrah Dukhan; the latter is very personal to me, reminding me of 1 Million Elixir but with other vibes. It lasts a solid 9 hours, holding up like a dream if you use it in the afternoon and still smells the next day. Projection 9/10: noticeable at 2 metres for the first 3 hours, so don’t abuse the sprays because it’s a loud perfume that imposes presence. Trail 9/10: heavy until the second hour, then moderate, and afterwards softer; not enormous but noticeable much, even in large rooms. Aroma 20/10: it’s madness, very rich, natural, with well-crafted notes, nothing synthetic. Originality 6/10: it has its own path though it draws inspiration from Dukhan and Le Male (not clones, but the resemblance is evident). Versatility 6/10: it’s sweet but not cloying, ideal for autumn, winter, and early spring. In summer only at night and with few sprays; perfect for parties, dates, or going out with friends (if it’s not too hot). Not for the gym and at work it can be invasive, though with few sprays there’s no problem. I see it as versatile from 20 years of age onwards.

  • Delicious but not very useful for me. It smells rich; it’s a fragrance perfectly suited for cold climates because it conveys warmth. I would perhaps wear it at church, a family gathering or a quiet dinner. The downside of my situation is that in my city it is hot all year round. Totally recommended for cold climates or seasons (even below 23°C you get value from it). For heat it is rich, but not so much (like my city at 35°C all year).

  • Not a blind buy, I swear. Calling it a clone of Le Male Elixir Absolu is a crime. It has similar notes; you can detect the plum even if it’s not declared, but that’s all. It’s warm, spicy, with an incense touch that smells like a church. Performance is good, it lasts and leaves a trail. In my case, zero compliments with this fragrance.

  • I tried it last Saturday and it’s very elegant, perfect for night outs. It’s not suitable for going to the gym or for hot days.

  • Luis Marizcal

Don’t buy this blindly; I made a mistake and it wasn’t what I expected. If I’d tried it first, I wouldn’t have bought it. It’s far too spicy. I do enjoy scented notes with spices, but this is just excessive.

  • Luis Marizcal

Do not buy it blind; I did and I was disappointed. If I had tested it first, I wouldn’t have bought it. It’s far too spicy; I enjoy spices, but this is excessive.

  • Wow wow, spectacular. In short, I was fascinated by this Afnan perfume. Very rich and long-lasting, absolute 10/10.

  • It’s not for everyone, but in the sense that it’s more youthful than mature. Those who say it’s a unique scent and you have to try it before buying are right? It’s a clone of Le Male Elixir Absolu. It’s not similar, it’s identical. It’s a scent known worldwide and there’s no need to smell it; blind, 100% sure that if you like Le Male Elixir Absolu, you’ll like this. That’s my problem: it’s a very good scent, but 0 original and innovative. If you want something different, don’t look here, darling. As for longevity and projection, it easily lasts 10 hours, projecting directed shots to the nose and 2 metres away for about 4 hours, which then become 3 hours more intimate and skin-deep until it finishes.

  • Leonardo-Ramirez

It’s very good if you have few perfumes, but for those who collect, it’s just one more. It smells like a hybrid between Lattafa Kamrah and the 9 PM.

  • This perfume is wonderful. Compared to JPG Le Male Elixir, it’s more of an inspiration than a dupe. I’ve tested it against a sample of the original, and although the quality is excellent, there are clear olfactory differences: they start from a similar idea but take different paths. After about 10 minutes on the skin, my olfactory memory led me to another perfume in my collection. I applied it to confirm and indeed, there’s another similarity this time with Khalis Modahm Niche Collection. They share a very similar opening, almost identical, and in the dry down they maintain an exquisite connection. Overall, the 9 PM Elixir is worth having in the collection.

  • It’s a good perfume with a warm opening; you can detect the pepper and spices, but honestly, I prefer it once it has dried down. The longevity is good, around 6 to 8 hours, although a normal 9 PM usually lasts longer. The projection is quite good. I recommend it, but if it’s strong, no more than 5 or 6 sprays. I’d give it an 8/10 and it smells better than the normal 9 PM.

  • Another 9 PM I bought blind. I expected nothing, but I’m not disappointed. I thought it would be warmer, but I’ve sensed it’s fresher than anything else. I didn’t detect the leather, nor the vanilla, nor the warm spicy touch. Perhaps it’s because I just bought it or because it was a tester. Maybe I need to let it mature more, but for now, I like it as is. Good blind buy, 10/10.

  • I’ve been wearing it for two weeks and yes, I’ve received compliments, but only if the other person is close by. It smells very good, although the projection is strong only for the first two hours; afterwards, it’s a scent that doesn’t stand out much. It’s a very good option because, in my opinion, it smells better than the normal 9 PM, although that one projects more. If you like vanilla perfumes, there’s no doubt it’s for you.

  • At first, I found it strange, but over time I’ve grown to appreciate it. Now I see it as clean, sweet, spiced, and fun. It’s very addictive, projects well, and lasts a good while. I’d give it a 9/10.

  • MarianoArgento

It’s a warm, spiced scent that reminds me of Armani Code Profumo. For the price, it lasts quite well, though it doesn’t project much. I bought it as a bargain because I’m not a fan of Arabian fragrances, but it served me well to have something strong with presence without breaking the bank; I use it, reapplying several times a day.
