  • I bought it and at first, you couldn’t smell anything, but I let it settle for two weeks and what a surprise. The change was from heaven to earth: a sweet aroma but not annoying. In my opinion, it has 95% similarity to the JPG Elixir; both are spectacular cold-weather scents. It gives me about 8 hours of longevity, the trail is good, and it’s a compliment generator. Scent 10/10, trail 9/10, longevity 8/10.

  • A real gem. It has a rich mint opening that over time turns into a completely sweet aroma. Very exquisite.

I have both: Rayhaan Elixir and Jean Paul Le Male Elixir. I can say they are almost identical. The only difference is that the Jean Paul has tobacco and feels more potent in quality. If you want performance, use Le Male with few sprays and top it up with Rayhaan because they are nearly the same: one with more power than the other, and obviously the OG is the most potent. Definitely, the scent is rich.

  • I tried it in a shop in Madrid and… Pff. I think the sweet and ‘pastel’ taste of the Elixir is completely lost here. It smells very artificial and less ‘pastel’, more just vanilla and tobacco. I wouldn’t buy it because of how artificial it feels; in my opinion, that well-made vanilla was the best part of the original Le Male Elixir. You should try it before buying, because in this case, I’d prefer the original a thousand times over.

  • I tried it in a local shop in Madrid and… Puh, I think the little taste that the Elixir gives you of smelling something so sweet and truly ‘pastel’ is completely removed here; it feels very artificial and not so ‘pastel’, more like dry vanilla and tobacco. I would not buy it because of how artificial it feels, as in my opinion one of the touches that the Le Male Elixir had was that well-made vanilla. You should try it before thinking about buying it, because in this case I would prefer the original Elixir a thousand times over.

  • 96% similarity with the Elixir from JPG; it is basically the same thing, just with a lower level of longevity, projection, etc. An excellent perfume for cold or temperate weather; it lasts six hours, reaching eight but then it becomes skin scent. It projects like a beast for two hours and then the intensity drops (you have to be generous with the sprays). After two hours it fades and leaves the scent on skin and clothes. In conclusion, it is the same as the Elixir but with less potency, but everything is fixed with a respray in a decant since it is basically the same. PS: when you first spray it, it feels very soft; you have to let it breathe for one or two weeks for the scent to settle and not cause olfactory fatigue.

  • Basically identical to Le Male Elixir but softer in longevity, projection, and trail. A very good option for cold days and evenings. It’s hard to notice the difference on clothes and skin; at most, straight from the bottle it smells quite alcoholic and artificial. Two sprays are enough for an enclosed space without overwhelming anyone, unlike the Elixir which is much stronger. I bought it blind and the only flaw is that it causes olfactory fatigue in myself; I think I’ve already caught my own scent bubble, but people tell me I still smell good.

  • 96% similarity to the JPG Elixir, basically the same thing but with a slightly lower potency level. Ideal for cold or mild days. It lasts about 6 hours, reaching up to 8 but only on the skin. It projects like a beast for the first two hours before dropping in intensity, so you need to be generous with the sprays. Afterwards, the scent lingers on skin and clothes. In short: it’s the Elixir just less potent, and a quick respray from a decant fixes that because it’s the same scent. PS: At first, it smells soft; let it air out for 1 or 2 weeks to settle the fragrance and avoid olfactory fatigue.

  • First review and I’m already in love. I’ve worn it for two days and it’s spectacular. It’s practically identical to the JPG Elixir. I paid €40 for 100ml and it’s worth every penny. The longevity is brutal, lasting over 8 hours, and the projection is excellent. Honestly, I’m head over heels.

  • Guys, this is one of the best clones I’ve tried. It smells almost identical, though of course, it lacks the potency and that specific tobacco note of the original. In everything else, the difference is minimal; from the moment you apply it until it dries down, for me, it’s indistinguishable. Impressive. If you already know Le Male, buy it blind without a second thought.

  • Very rich perfume… No idea if it smells exactly like the Le Male Elixir, but if it’s good, it’s good. It has something of the Armaf Odyssey Home but less spicy. It lasts a long time, minimum 6 hours; once dried down it already smells of vanilla and lavender. It’s special for cold weather and special occasions: parties, outings, dates, sex… not so much for daily use. I give it a 9/10.

  • If you’re thinking about buying the JPG Le Male Elixir, here is the true dupe. Don’t spend on an expensive perfume if this has 99% similarity. 10,000% recommended.

I own both fragrances and they are identical. They can be differentiated in certain details, but I repeat, THEY ARE IDENTICAL. Usually, they are advised for winter, but the seasons don’t go with me. If I feel like it, I put it on and go out, since I have both. Call me crazy, but I live life to the limit.

I own both and they are identical, with only the most minute nuances, but I repeat: they are the same. Normally they are for winter, but I do not follow the seasons. If I fancy it, I wear it and that’s that, since I have both. Call me mad, but I live life to the limit.

  • I have a high tolerance for sweet perfumes, but this one is too cloying. If I wear it behind my neck and get bursts of scent, it’s not so cloying, but on the arms and sniffed close to the skin, it becomes very overwhelming. Yes, it has good longevity and projection, but as I say, it overwhelms me. It’s sweet with intent. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend it, because I see few occasions where this scent works well; it’s too youthful and sweet. It doesn’t fit the image of a masculine and elegant man that I want to project. Perhaps it would suit someone between 14 and 18 years old. Summary: Scent: 7/10 (personally I don’t like this type of scent much), Longevity and Projection: 9/10, Price: 9/10 (for the price it has very good performance), Age: Between 14 and 20 years, Cold weather, night outings.

Update 2: After 5 hours I say yes, it’s a very good clone of the Le Male Elixir (although the JPG performance remains superior, ‘beast mode’ as they say). Update 1: Change of mind, after an hour of drying down when the perfume has settled, it does resemble the Le Male Elixir quite a bit. I would have liked to spray it more times to see if the projection was better for both. At least on my pH, the mint and benzoin are infinitely noticeable. I’m sorry to those who blindly claim it resembles the JPG Le Male Elixir; in my perception, it resembles nothing. On my pH there is only 5% similarity, so… I think more like 3%. I came from testing this and now I tested the Hawas Elixir, it doesn’t resemble it either. But be careful, that doesn’t make them bad perfumes. Half an hour into the drying down of both, they resemble each other a lot; the difference is that Rayhaan is more ‘bright’ than Hawas.

Update 1: Finally, like the ‘repentant dog’, I decided to buy it again. The first bottle I owned felt more intense; this current one is a little weaker. However, the opening is 1 to 1. Nevertheless, the JPG has much better performance when dried down than Rayhaan (they evolve incredibly on the skin), which makes it worth investing in the designer version. I bought it a month ago and had to sell it after two days because the blend of mint, lavender, and vanilla didn’t suit me, although I sensed it better once dried down. Afterwards, I wanted to give it another chance with a decant, digesting it little by little until I started to understand it. Today I’m wearing it again, and while at work, a girl approached and asked if I was the one with that fragrance (rarely do I receive compliments on a perfume). What a surprise! If you’re going for sweet aromas and dare to try it, go for it!

  • WizzardFragancias

It’s my first perfume and I really liked it a lot. On my skin, it lasts approximately 6-7 hours.

  • WizzardFragancias

It’s my first perfume and I really liked it; on my skin it lasts about 6-7 hours.

  • Honestly, this range from Rayhaan has pleasantly surprised me. It shares similarities with the JPG Elixir, although the opening is softer; as it dries, it gains intensity. It’s a delicious honey-sweet scent. If you enjoy sweet fragrances, this is excellent. The longevity and sillage are very similar to Crimson (though this lasts a little longer). With 8 hours of longevity and 2 hours of projection, at a good price it’s a great alternative to the JPG Elixir.

  • A good winter fragrance. If you compare it hand-to-hand with the Elixir from JPG, the opening of the Rayhaan is identical, but then it takes its own path as it dries down. If you like sweetish perfumes, you will love this one.

  • Brilliant for winter. If you compare it side by side with the JPG Elixir, the opening is identical, but then it dries down to its own unique path. If you’re craving sweet perfumes, you’ll absolutely love this.

  • I had little faith in it because I don’t like the JPG Elixir, but I have to admit it smells superb, especially once it has dried down.

  • Sergioparfum

A very shrewd purchase given the price. Although I haven’t tried the Elixir, with my Parfum I note similarities; it is vanilla with an initial freshness that I believe comes from mint. It is sweet but not cloying. I do not recommend it for extreme heat, women love it and it goes well with casual or semi-formal clothing. It lasts me about 6 hours and projects two.

  • Rayhaan continues to surprise me with the quality of its fragrances, I have really liked this house. The Elixir is quite similar to the Le Male Elixir, especially in the opening, although as it dries down it separates a bit, but not so much. It is less dense than the JPG, less heavy, which is why I think it is more open for different occasions, not just for night parties. On my skin it lasts about 8 hours and projects about two, then it moves to a personal bubble releasing bursts from time to time. Highly recommended. It has the 3 Bs: good, beautiful, and cheap.

  • Lovely and cosy, smells very similar but a little sweeter; here the tobacco opens up and on my nose it is null. It performs well for an excellent price, lasts longer than Le Male, is an economical option and more long-lasting. Yes, it is more synthetic, which is the only downside, as the Jean Paul is already synthetic, but the price is ridiculously cheap. Ideal for winter and autumn, playful and youthful. 8/10 only for being synthetic and lacking development, but Le Male is the same, there is no noticeable change. Rich, economical, lasts about 7-8 hours with two firm projections, then becomes more intimate, NOT skin scent. Recommended.

  • In the opening it is very similar to the Elixir, but as it dries down it separates a bit more. It loses the honey sweetness and the depth of the tobacco to gain presence from the tonka bean. I prefer the original Elixir, but given the price difference (30-40€) this is a good option for daily wear. It is easier to wear when the heat rises than the OG. In longevity and projection it performs well and loses nothing against the Elixir. Nothing to object to. Summary: If they have told you it is a 1:1 with the Elixir, it is not. If you are looking for a less sweet and deep alternative, then yes, it is for you.

  • Smells mysterious and has that interesting and seductive touch, although it is not an exact clone of the JPG Elixir, which is indeed more refined. It gets close to 85%, but watch out: it is not a bad perfume, it is great because it follows that captivating DNA of the JPG. I will focus on the Rayhaan Elixir, which is what I wanted to review to give my opinion and help anyone wanting to clear up doubts before buying, as I usually do in this community to be sure about the notes. The Rayhaan invites compliments with a warm and attractive aroma that mixes its ingredients very well; it feels of high quality. Ideal for dates, night outings, or attracting attention anywhere, it is an excellent option. To finish, the dry down on skin and clothes is impressive: even after washing the garment, that rich scent is still noticeable.

  • JohnAcosta25

An ambergrey opening and a sweet lavender that turn into a creamy, inviting vanilla; Rayhaan continues to surprise me, I feel it is more versatile than the LM Elixir, less sweet and less cloying, perfect for dates in cold weather or the office. The only thing to highlight is the slight lack of the tobacco note, which is not bad either. Very cosy in reality and, given the price, I truly feel it is a great option for this DNA.

  • Very similar scent to Le Male Elixir. The opening has a very slight fresh touch that doesn’t last long; soon all the sweet notes (vanilla, tonka bean, etc.) come out and accompany you until the end. I don’t detect any tobacco in this fragrance. The longevity is astronomical. I don’t like this type of perfume and I wouldn’t buy it, as it makes me feel sick, but I think this will appeal to the masses, especially young people. It offers more than you pay for, as with almost all Rayhans.

  • It is a dupe of the JPG Elixir, but with a weaker trail and performance than other options on the market. The performance is acceptable, but it is not a beast mode. The price is interesting.

  • santirevnashe

A great perfume, although I had a complicated experience that perhaps influenced my opinion. I’ve worn it for a year during winter, mostly at night. Compared to the JPG Elixir, they are basically the same (I’m not an expert), but the longevity is incredible: 10 hours or more, you can tell. If you wear it on clothes, it lasts indefinitely; I took a jacket I hadn’t worn for six months and could still smell it, and sometimes it remains even after washing, so keep that in mind if you don’t want to smell like it for too long (or if you want to gift a jumper to a girl so she can always smell your scent). My verdict: for what I expected, I received few compliments; if people asked, they said they liked it, but it didn’t go as far as them coming to tell me they loved it (which did happen with the Fakhar Black), but I love wearing it and if I like it, that’s enough for me. When I wear it, I flash that I’m in a TikTok edit. In short, very good for winter nights, going out, or being with girls, or calmly on a cold, windy day. 9/10.
