  • What a rich fragrance. For lovers of iris and the Dior Homme Parfum (especially the 2025 version), it’s incredible. It feels natural, nothing synthetic. Here in Chile, it doesn’t reach $30. The new Rayhaan line is coming strong, and with this Obsidian, plus the Aquatica, the Italia, and the Tropical Vibe, they’re going to make a lot of talk in 2026.

  • Smells very similar to Dior Homme 2025, top quality but lasts a little less than the original. Be aware the dry down isn’t as good: it’s a sweet, amber scent, quite commercial, almost the DNA of Le Male. It has that sticky note vibe reminiscent of Ultra Male and Le Male Parfum, yet cleaner and darker. It doesn’t smell much like Dior Homme or powdery iris as the notes suggest; the leather and oud in the DHP 2014 seem like a mistake. It smells nice, but it’s worth noting this.

  • Very good fragrance and a very good dupe or inspiration of the Dior Homme Parfum and Intense from 2025, not the 2014 or 2011 as some said. It smells very good, but if you wanted a copy of the original Parfum, this isn’t it.

  • I went to smell it thinking it resembled the Dior Homme Parfum 2014, but I found one that is very similar to the 2025 version. In some phases, it also reminds me of Le Male Le Parfum. The opening has a good quality iris, clean and sweetened almost from the start. As it dries down, the woody notes emerge. It’s a fairly refined fragrance, ideal for being well-dressed in winter or for night outs. For today’s sweet perfumes, it surpasses the average in elegance. The performance is very good, and €40 for 100ml is less than you get with the original.

  • It’s very similar to Dior Homme 2025, smells good but lasts a bit less than the original. The base fragrance isn’t top-tier; it’s a commercial, sweet, amber scent, almost the DNA of Le Male. It has a sticky note that reminds me of Ultra Male and Le Male Le Parfum, but cleaner and darker. It doesn’t smell much of powdery iris or Dior Homme. The notes say leather and oud from the DHP 2014, but that must be a mistake. It smells good, but beware.

I’m an iris fan; it’s one of my favourite notes, and this fragrance doesn’t disappoint. If you’re looking for the Dior Homme Parfum from the early batches, you’re mistaken. In the opening, it gets very close to the Dior Homme Intense: powerful, powdery iris with character. But in the dry-down, the magic happens: it ends up almost identical to the Homme Parfum 2025; they are nearly indistinguishable, and I’d say Rayhaan lasts longer. For the price, it certainly deserves a place in your collection. No one will notice it’s not the Homme.

  • Excellent fragrance. To me, it doesn’t smell like Dior Homme 2025 at all, but more like Prada L’Homme Intense. The iris declared by Rayhaan is more contained; don’t expect that makeup-like smell from the Dior Homme 2014. For me, it’s a polished, clean iris. It starts citrusy and the clean, powdery, bright iris is noticed quickly. Then the contained leather comes out and closes with sandalwood and cedar. It says it has oud, but I don’t detect it. It’s an elegant fragrance that needs to be worn with attitude.

I’m an iris fan, one of my favourite notes, and this perfume doesn’t disappoint. If you’re seeking the Dior Homme Parfum from the early batches, you’re mistaken. In the opening, it closely resembles Dior Homme Intense: powerful iris, powdery, with character. But the magic happens in the dry down: it ends up practically identical to the Homme Parfum 2025; they’re almost indistinguishable, and I’d even say Rayhaan lasts longer. For the price, it certainly deserves a place in your collection. No one will notice it isn’t the Homme.

  • Very good fragrance and a solid dupe or inspiration for the Dior Homme Parfum and Intense from 2025, not the 2014 or 2011 versions as some claimed. Smells excellent, but if you were looking for an exact copy of the original Parfum, this isn’t it.

Incredible fragrance. I own both, DHP 2025 and Rayhaan Obsidian, and they are VERY similar, but I feel Obsidian is more punchy, slightly heavier/more complete. For me, DHP is a slightly diluted version of Obsidian. I’m sticking with Obsidian because I feel its profile is richer and more complete, plus it lasts longer on my skin and costs one-third of the price.

  • I used the spray for a month and honestly, it smells good and you can tell it’s quality, but nothing extraordinary. For my €35 in the Dior Homme 2025 line, I think it’s a bit pricey. I wouldn’t buy it again.

  • In my opinion, without having smelled any Dior Homme (except in stores), it’s a formal fragrance that smells like a serious, clean person. It’s a rich iris with a slightly sharp opening due to the citrus, which then softens considerably. I feel it’s long-lasting and above all, it delivers; in my case, it lasts about 8 hours comfortably, projects a lot, and feels nothing synthetic.

  • What a sensational fragrance, ladies and gentlemen. Good heavens, what a rich scent; just thinking about it makes the hair on my arms stand up. For months I’ve wanted to add to my collection a fragrance with that Dior DNA, regardless of which one (2011, 2014, or 2025); what I wanted was to smell like this, which has altered my senses. Rayooooosss, what a wow experience. I won’t discuss notes or technicalities; I’ll be brief. This scent is the holy grail of the ultimate men’s fragrance; there are no mistakes or improvisation here. It generates an aura of opulence, of an interesting, mysterious, and conquering man who walks the world with confidence, torso straight, attracting impressive reactions. A winning scent, I assure you. Trust me and buy it. You’ll crush it, you’ll be noticed, and people will never forget you.

I bought it today based on reviews claiming it’s the best DHP 2025 inspiration. I need to wear it for a week to form a proper opinion, but after the first 24 hours, I share what others have said: it evolves a lot. At first, it smells like Ultramale, and after 30–45 minutes, the woods emerge. I reapplied after several hours and was surprised that it no longer smelled so much like Ultramale; now I detect the cedar and woods from the start. My head is blown away.

I was keen to try iris and saw YouTubers recommending it. I bought the Kaian Classic by Al Watanian, which is similar to the Dhi, and honestly, I preferred this one from start to finish. This evolves a lot: starts with iris, then turns sweet (reminiscent of Ultramale or 9PM), and that phase lasts about 30 minutes before it becomes woody. Not bad, but the projection and trail let me down. We’ll see if maceration changes things. I come from Tropical Vibes, which has good performance across the board. Edit: once dried, it resembles Mercedes Benz Sing, a peculiar scent that neither disgusts nor delights me.

A fragrance with iris that’s well worth the price; it smells more expensive than it costs. It surpasses Dior Homme 2025—it’s not identical but certainly in the same style, even paying homage to the discontinued Dior Homme Parfum. As for Dior Homme Intense, there’s not much of it here, as some say; that one has a drier, powdery iris that dominates the pyramid. In Obsidian, the iris blends very well with the leather and gradually becomes woody. An elegant, masculine, distinguished aroma, better suited for nights and cold weather. Well executed; even those who don’t love iris can appreciate it. Performance is good and it’s evocative, not static like the DI. Take advantage of the price and the scent; you might not find it from Rayhaan again. No need to buy the DHP 2025 if you have this. Best regards.

  • A good perfume with a wearable iris. Not a blind buy, but I wouldn’t consider it a bad fragrance either.

  • If you’re looking for something similar (not identical) to DHP from 2025, this is very close, though on my skin it feels slightly more muted. Performance is 8 to 12 hours, just like the DHP. I recommend it if you already know what the scent is, and especially if you love iris.

  • If iris isn’t on your radar, you won’t love this. It’s not bad, but that blend of iris and leather smells like a toolbox—like the grease on the tools; it’s an exaggeration, but it conveys the idea. Once it dries down, it improves, and the leather with that effeminate base really shines. I see this for formal occasions. Lasts about 6 to 7 hours on skin, then becomes almost skin-scented.
