Fantastic perfume, it’s a one-to-one match with Creed’s Centaurus. Crimson lasts longer on the skin, projects more, and best of all, it costs a fraction of the price.
Perfume bomb, it’s a one-to-one with Creed Centaurus, only Crimson lasts longer on the skin and projects more. The best part is that it costs much less.
A proper perfume bomb, warm and spicy. Its longevity is brutal; it’s simply addictive and sexy.
I’ve had it for a few days, testing it at home to check the longevity, as it’s for autumn/winter. It’s been lasting me over 12 hours on the skin, being quite noticeable on the skin even after that time. One day I put it on at 6 pm, and at 7 am, after sleeping, it still smelled. It’s sweet and addictive, at least for me, making it impossible to stop smelling it. I’d recommend it for cold nights, going out with friends, dates, and formal events. Very good perfume. I wouldn’t say how similar it is to Creed Centaurus, but I know it smells great and lasts, which is what we ultimately want. Quality/price ratio is a 10/10.
At first, the cinnamon and pepper burned a bit, but it has grown on me over time. It’s my go-to for cold weather. My girlfriend says it smells mysterious and different, though she admits she doesn’t love it. The longevity is brutal: nine hours with heavy projection at the start, then skin scent until the 12-hour mark. On clothes, it lasts for days.
At first, it felt very ‘spicy’ due to the cinnamon and pepper. Over time, I understood it, and it’s one of my favourites for cold weather. My girlfriend says she doesn’t love it, but that it’s rich and mysterious, different from what others wear. Longevity and projection are very good: it lasted me about 9 hours with heavy projection for the first 2, then moderate. On the skin, it lasts up to 12 hours. On clothes, all day.
One of the best in perfumery, surpassing many designer and niche fragrances in every aspect, for the 36€ I paid. Incredible; the future of perfumery speaks Arabic, I believe.
Crimson, Rayhaan Crimson, arrived recently. Upon reading the name, I inevitably thought of Gil Grissom, the unforgettable character from CSI: Las Vegas. Perhaps it’s the similarity between Crimson and Grissom, or that dark, enigmatic resonance, but from that moment, I associated the perfume with his figure. Upon smelling it for the first time, the connection was immediate: the character and the fragrance seem made for each other. I imagine the laboratory in dim light, only the red flicker of a neon lamp illuminating his face. The name says it all: intense, mysterious, nocturnal. But this night isn’t looking to solve a case, but to leave a distinctive, invisible yet unerasable mark. Rayhaan Crimson seems to have been born for him. It unfolds like an investigation, layer by layer, note by note, until reaching the heart of the scene. At first, an unexpected hit, a warm sweetness, almost provocative, like the first clue in a sealed file. It’s not just any sweet; it has something spicy, vibrant, blending with the pepper, the flash of his sharp, penetrating gaze. Then the tobacco emerges: not heavy smoke, but a faint whisper, like the trail of ash in an alley after a long night. Unlike the imposing Centaurus, Rayhaan Crimson isn’t dominated by the tobacco; it uses it as an echo, a shadow blending with the sweetness and spice. It’s an elegant, contained tobacco that accompanies without overwhelming. As it settles, a game of contrasts appears: on one hand, soft, sweet, enveloping, almost comforting; on the other, that spicy edge that recalls Grissom’s character, calculating but with a hint of humanity. The fragrance seems to tell its story, a man carrying invisible scars, who knows how to walk between the light of casinos and the darkness of impossible cases without losing his stamp. Rayhaan Crimson doesn’t shout; it’s not obvious evidence. Rather, it’s an invisible mark, a perfume that stays in memory like a melody heard once. When someone perceives it, they don’t think of ‘tobacco’ or ‘pepper’, but of the presence of the man wearing it. An air of serene authority, controlled sweetness, unresolved mystery. Thus, like a CSI episode, Rayhaan Crimson becomes a story in itself. Every note is a clue, every chord a silent interrogation, and the final result is an unforgettable aromatic profile. It stays, like Grissom on screen, immutable, complex, unforgettable.
Arrived today, and honestly, Centaurus and Crimson are identical, save perhaps for the quality of the ingredients, though I don’t notice any difference. It begins with a rich, spiced cinnamon, then turns semi-sweet due to the tonka bean, and finally settles down with cardamomo, which is medicinal and herbal. I wouldn’t buy it if you’re looking for a brand to show off, but the performance is the same; excluding longevity, I’d say it’s similar. Creed has a decent duration, between 6-8 hours, and if Rayhaan performs like that, I’d be more than satisfied. The performance feels a bit decadent: after the first hour, unless you bring your nose close, you can’t smell it; it’s present but only in your own bubble, projecting nothing and leaving no trail. When sprayed, it smells well intense, like all warm spices that are worth it, but then… pity.
I’ve just received it, so I can’t comment on longevity or projection yet. In my test, it didn’t last as long as claimed, so I’ll let it macerate. I’ve loved it, but I don’t recommend buying blind. If you like spiced scents, especially cinnamon, get it. It’s 80-85% similar to Centaurus, but in Crimson the spicy notes stand out much more than in the original. It’s an even more pleasant scent than Centaurus, which is more particular and cloying. Both are for special occasions and cold weather. Given the price, Crimson is far more worth it.
Arrived today, so I can’t speak yet about longevity and projection; in the test, it didn’t last as long as claimed, so I’ll let it macerate. However, I’ve loved it. It’s not a fragrance I’d recommend buying blindly. I tested Creed Centaurus and already knew where its scent was heading: if you like spices and especially cinnamon, I recommend buying it. It resembles Centaurus by 80-85% because in Crimson, the spicy notes stand out more than in the original Creed. It’s an even more pleasant scent than Centaurus, which is more particular and cloying without those strong spicy notes. Both are for special occasions and cold climates. Given the price, Crimson is worth much more, undoubtedly.
Another puberty perfume trying to attract attention with loud, sickly, and unpleasant scents. It’s a mix of sweet and ultra-synthetic ingredients that Arab brands know how to use. I wouldn’t even say talent is needed to create these aberrations. It’s like when, as a child, you mix all the flavours of soft drinks because you think it will be brilliant, but in the end, you just get a disgustingly sweet drink with no identifiable taste. I wouldn’t wear this even as a joke.
Let’s say you are reading this because you are interested in the Creed Centaurus. Let’s not deceive ourselves; everyone is interested in Arabic fragrances because they are an imitation, in many cases well-made, of niche perfumes at an unbeatable price. And this is no exception. In fact, it is a perfect case to discuss this topic. This Crimson is an identical clone of Centaurus. And yes, I say identical because unless you were born with a privileged nose, you will not be able to distinguish one from the other even if you wear them on the same arm. That is a fact. They smell the same 90-95%. Furthermore, regarding its development (which is what we all care about), they do not differ much: Centaurus is no beast, and neither is Crimson. Moderate projection during the first three hours, after which it becomes quite a discreet fragrance. And the longevity is about six hours. Nothing special. But I insist, Centaurus is not much better. Where they do differ, do you know where? Indeed, in the price. 32 euros versus 330… it’s laughable… we are being ripped off, but in a good way. Now it is up to you to decide which one you buy: in this case, I have been clear. The Crimson eats the papa!
If you’re interested in Creed’s Centaurus, read this. Let’s not fool ourselves; everyone loves these Arab fragrances because they’re niche clones at ridiculous prices. Crimson is identical to Centaurus; unless you have a privileged nose, you won’t tell the difference even if they’re on the same arm. They smell 90-95% the same. The development is also unnoticeable: Centaurus isn’t a beast, and neither is Crimson. Projection is moderate for three hours, then becomes discreet. Longevity is around six hours. Nothing special, but Centaurus isn’t either. The difference is the price: 32 euros versus 330. We’re being played, but well. I’ve decided: Crimson eats with papa.
Good day. I must say it seemed elegant and sexy to me. However, I will also give my most sincere opinion on the impression it left. It smells like red Canéls (4 pieces) chewing gum, but with the sensation of cigarette smoke when you are smoking, that smoke that is already dying down, not very potent. To make it simpler: like when you put a cigarette in the ashtray. Now add the smell of cinnamon gum and a little sweetness. That combination isn’t that bad for the price. That is how it smells. Delicious, yes, very very delicious. As I said, elegant and sexy in my personal opinion. Masculine to the untrained nose, but fragrances have no gender. So go for it. Finally… SIX HOURS ON SKIN, no more, and perhaps barely. The trail or projection is not the best unfortunately. But for its price, as I said, very good. And if this is how Centaurus smells… then what more could one want 🤷🏻 . Regards.
It enters my top three perfumes, and that despite having a fairly extensive collection with fragrances that are incredibly expensive and hard to source. The fact that a perfume is expensive does not mean it is good, certainly not. It is a real stinker.
If you are looking for the Centaurus DNA but improved and boosted, go for the Lattafa Taureau de Combat instead. The quality is brilliant, it projects well, and it lasts much longer than this. It is strange that you can’t find it on Fragrantica.
This fragrance is unpleasant, without any taints or nuanced words to describe it. Moreover, the scent is extremely persistent.
You need to be careful with the sprays with this perfume, and it is not for everyone. It is warm and spicy, with a very prominent cardamom, followed by other notes like cinnamon and vanilla. It can become heavy for some; in my opinion, it is for special occasions and standing out.
It is a disagreeable fragrance; there are no half-measures or nuanced words to describe it. Furthermore, the scent is extremely persistent.
Absolutely not a buy-in-the-dark fragrance. Don’t let influencer hype fool you; it was a disaster for me. Try it before you commit.
It smells exactly like a mechanic’s garage straight after it’s been cleaned.
Everyone’s taste differs, but it is exactly the same as Centaurus. If you don’t like the profile of that one, you won’t like this Crimson either. It is very spicy, lasts a long time, and is difficult to wear. I sold mine because I already own Terra, and they were so similar to me that they felt redundant.
By no means is this a blind buy; don’t let yourself be swept away by influencer hype. It was terrible to me. Test before you decide to keep it.
I own the Lattafa Eternal Oud and have just picked up this Rayhaan Crimson; honestly, they are identical. They have slightly different nuances, but ultimately, it’s the same perfume.
After using it twice and forgiving it the first time, it’s a very good option if you save it for elegant occasions and only spray 2-3 times, otherwise, if the smell is too spicy, warm, and cinnamon-heavy, you won’t want to repeat it. But in the right measure, it looks very good, giving that elegant and sophisticated touch for a night out in a dress. It lasts over 8 hours with acceptable projection. Very little versatility, only for very special occasions. Nothing for warm climates. It’s more of a night than a day scent. I see it with a black suit and red tie 100%, it fits like a glove. Nice and original bottle, excellent price. My ratings: Scent 8, Longevity 8.5, Projection 7.5, Price 9, Total 8.25.
To be honest, I didn’t like it; it smells aggressive and I only sprayed it once. This perfume could kill someone if you get on the tube in summer. Test it first, for crying out loud, it’s not a blind buy, it smells very peculiar. A hug to the community.
I bought the 100ml for €39.90 a while ago with shipping included. For those who haven’t heard of it: it’s an interpretation of Creed Centaurus. Rather than copying it, it takes the spicy-creamy idea and makes it more direct. It’s not easy; it is spicy and creamy. I get a faint sensation of minty caramel, not minty, but fresh at the base. It’s a night scent, for dates or going out. If you’re in a closed space during the first few hours, I wouldn’t advise it; it can be a bit overwhelming. It’s one of my two favourites from the brand. Application: Winter 6-8 sprays at maximum, summer not recommended. On my dry skin it lasts 7 hours, on clothes a full day. Notable trail for 2-3 hours. Clearly more masculine, though it suits women too. Should I recommend it? Yes.
This is 90% similar to Lattafa’s Eternal Oud, just with a spicy note in the opening.
I’m fascinated by the opening and then when it dries, the honey and cinnamon notes are impressive. It projects hugely and lasts far too long, which is brilliant.
Too much cardamom and patchouli for my taste. I haven’t heard of Centaurus, but it reminds me of Spectre Ghost. If you like warm, spiced perfumes but lean towards gourmand, choose something else. Here, the cardamom and patchouli are very noticeable, and I barely smell the cinnamon.

Not a blind buy. To my taste, it’s a cracker; the opening is strong and could be overwhelming, but as it dries, it stays similar to the Halloween Man Rock On but with a better trail.
Smells like cherry cough syrup. Super cloying and pointless. Once it dries, it smells like baby wipes, which is disgusting.
The first time I atomised it, it was a hard cardamom explosion that filled the whole room for the day. It lasts all day in cold weather or with a breeze, then on clothes it smells incredible of cinnamon. I recommend it if you like very strong, spicy scents.
It smells like cherry cough syrup. Super strong, cloying, and pointless. When it dries down, it smells like baby wipes.
Absolute rubbish, I wouldn’t touch it with a barge pole. At least I tested it in-store and wasn’t one to buy blindly. It projects massively and lasts forever (to my utter regret). If you like it, great, but it’s not for everyone. Definitely test it first, no exceptions.
Horrible, I couldn’t use it. Fortunately, I tested it in-store and didn’t buy it blind. It projects and lasts far too long, which is my misfortune. I recommend testing it absolutely. Many people like it, but certainly, it’s not for everyone.
