Fresh, citrus and woody aroma, less sweet than the previous version. Longevity and trail are medium-to-low. It’s not bad, but it’s easy to detect and gets confused with others. Recommended for daytime, youthful (15-25 years), ideal for spring. In humid weather, the woody notes become more noticeable. I prefer the first version: at first it resembles One Million and clones, then it shifts to leather and violets.
It’s an exquisite fragrance, but it copies Black XS L’Excess.
I tried it today. The strong opening caused rejection in the first three minutes. Then it settled and became sweet and pleasant. My mum asked what I was wearing because she loved it so much. After four hours it still smells good. It’s now on my ‘want to buy’ list.
Welcome to rock’s bad boy! Halloween Rock On is a Christmas present, a hooking citrus blast for the new generation with a 90s body. An explosion of sour lime and sweet cardamom, nothing like One Million. Then comes the artificial phase with pink pepper and lavender, reminiscent of Zegna’s Masterpiece. The opening is like connecting an electric guitar to full volume, prickly and bold. Green and aquatic notes follow, fresh and relaxing. Powerful trail and medium longevity (5 hours). It’s worth it. It evokes my rebellious years: long shaggy hair, rock t-shirts, ripped jeans and Converse. Not for intellectuals, but for the daring, fun and seductive. Perfect for Saturday nights and for outshining others at the party.
Halloween Man Rock On attempts to be a younger, summier version of its older brother, but it falls short. The opening is the same but diluted, with no real charm. You can detect artificial cardamom and citrus. Only the lavender and violet leaves are redeemable, with a background of amber and earthy moss. It lasts about six hours with a decent trail, but it disappoints compared to Halloween Man. If you already own the original, don’t buy this.
I can’t stop receiving compliments on this scent. Everyone likes it. I enjoy it but it doesn’t drive me wild, though it does for others. It’s perfect for low days, like a therapeutic companion.
Halloween Rock On has a pleasant, youthful and dynamic fruity opening suitable for any occasion. Over time, a spicy and woody note emerges. The longevity is good, though it sits close to the skin. It resembles Black XS L’Excess, which I haven’t tried yet. Although it’s similar to others, its price is a plus.
Very fresh, exquisite, masculine and rock’n’roll, ideal for parties. At first it’s overwhelming, but like all citrus scents, it doesn’t last long. The dry down is sparkling before vanishing magically. The name Halloween doesn’t suit it; it feels more like a witch’s spell. But it’s worth it for the price: splash it from head to toe and you’ll have four hours of freshness. If you want something better and cheaper, try Avon’s 300 Km/hr Max Turbo.
I tried it once and it smelled exactly like Axe deodorant.
Smells like cheap, soulless perfumes. Very sweet with a sour edge. Lasts a decent while. 3/10. They say it’s the same as Black XS, but it doesn’t even look like it. It’s just a stronger, uglier version of Axe.
A subtle aroma of personal enjoyment or for spending time with your partner, excellent for rest days or going for a walk. I love getting out of the shower, applying this, and reading a book or having coffee. It’s not an outstanding fragrance, but without a doubt it’s one of the most enjoyable and less intensive, which is why it must be in my collection.
To be honest, I didn’t like it at first; very citrusy. But I used it on hot days and received several compliments from women I didn’t think would say anything. 😂😂 I was pleasantly surprised by its price.
Well, I’m taking the plunge to write. I’m not very poetic, but here goes. I bought Halloween Man, then the Shot and the X, and only recently decided on this one for $19 for 125ml. It seemed like a common, cheap catalogue fragrance, but I must say I liked it more than the first time I smelled it. It’s very pleasant, slightly generic, woody, and reliable. It’s one of those scents girls like; nothing complicated, ideal for mild or warm weather. Not bad for the price, although I’ve heard similar things everywhere. I give it 6 out of 10. Now I’m off to get the Tattoo to complete the collection.
Personally, I think it’s expensive for what it is. It has a sweet yet strong fragrance; I own it and use it in any situation. It’s for young people, so I wouldn’t recommend it much.
A reliable perfume; it’s worth the cost and the quality is superior to the price. A youthful aroma from the current line: the opening is very teenage, but in the trail and dry-down it shows its best side, with a marine touch that emulates Cool Water slightly. A good perfume.
Perfect perfume for men in their early thirties who don’t want to smell like their grandfathers. It’s very sweet and women adore it.
There is a Mexican perfume house called Sukimuki, number 12, which smells exactly like Halloween Rock. However, this one lasts a long time compared to the Mexican version. They say it resembles Fierce, which I don’t know, but I have Perry Ellis which has a great similarity to the Abercrombie one.
It’s a blend of everything that works in Abercrombie’s fruity line; the apple note is very prominent. I use it at any time and it always works. It lasts well for about seven hours.
The opening is a beast of apple and pepper (not my personal favourite), but then it leaves a delicious lavender trail reminiscent of Hugo Boss Bottled Night, yet without being as aggressive. No woman can resist this aroma. The trail and longevity are incredible, as with all the brand’s offerings; they have never let me down.
For me, this is the best scent in the Halloween range for men, but it has one flaw: it contains a chemical that burns my neck when applied. Apart from that, it smells fantastic, it’s sexy, and women absolutely love it. Cheers!
Delightful fragrance. Although it is sweet, it doesn’t reach cloying levels. I have Halloween X and I’d say Rock On is the version for daytime wear.
What a delicious perfume; it can’t be missing for its price. That mix of apple and pepper is very addictive, it’s a bit like Legend Montblanc but this is better executed, and you receive many compliments with it. Versatile, as you can wear it formal, semi-formal or with jeans, and a temperature range from 18 to 30 degrees goes perfectly. It projects very well for two to three hours for me and lasts on skin seven or eight hours. Recommended.
This fragrance is ideal for moderate heat days, tropical and semi-arid climates, preferably spring-summer. It has a delicious opening but it lasts very little, between three and five minutes; afterwards I feel the red apple note strongly, slightly spicy. It could be considered a sweet fragrance but 0 cloying, it doesn’t offend or discomfort people nearby. What stands out most is its clean and fresh scent, a quite strong point, since in summer in super hot climates, what you should look for most is a clean aroma that offers freshness and which of course doesn’t cloy. The negative point is that projection and longevity aren’t the best; on my skin I can perceive a maximum duration of four hours and the projection feels it reaches its peak in the first half hour and disappears completely after two hours, the trail is tiny, almost like a personal bubble. Regarding price I must say it’s quite good, it offers much more than it costs. It’s my first fragrance by Jesús del Pozo; next week I’ll have the Halloween Man Shot to be able to compare both. In summary, highly recommended.
Hello, how are you? Well… what to say… one is inevitably the architect of their own choices. I bought this perfume yesterday and I must say that, had I not bought it at a very modest price, I would have felt very annoyed. This perfume causes me discomfort: at first I liked it, its fresh opening and the apple note were perfect up to a point, but when it starts to dry down, the red apple fades and the bamboo becomes bitter, mixing with its top notes… the sandalwood and moss. What a headache, what a bitter sensation of rotting apple. I don’t know what happened from the Halloween Man (similar to O M) to this unfortunate Rock On, but my nose simply doesn’t tolerate it. Anyway, I took it off my shelf and put it up for sale; nonetheless, every nose is a world and everyone has a different perception. I have a 125ml bottle available to anyone interested in Buenos Aires, let me know and we’ll sort out a price.
I bought it following the comments and reviews. Afterwards, a small dispenser of this perfume arrived in my hands and it blew my mind; it smelled delicious and lasted a lot, about seven hours on my skin. Citrus opening that dried down to a spicy apple heart, which smelled clean with lavender accords. Subsequently I acquired it in a department store, so the fragrance is undoubtedly original, and it disappointed me. I don’t know if the batch is the issue or not, but the scent was much more subtle, the longevity poor, about three to four hours, so honestly it’s stayed at the bottom of the shelf. The scent is sweet, spicy, but very flat; there’s nothing different or spectacular about it.
I bought it on discount for $20 in Costa Rica, honestly too cheap; here it always ranges between $40 and $50. It has a quite rich, fresh and masculine scent. Its longevity is terrible, a maximum of an hour and a half, but for the price it’s quite good, truth be told.
Fresh and worth the price; a good blind buy. It’s nothing extraordinary, but if you’re new to perfumery, it’s a good option. The performance is a bit weak but it’s compensated by how well it smells: it’s clean, not soapy, but fresh, fruity, sparkling with a woody touch, youthful. Ideal for going to school or university, for everyday wear, very easy to wear, pleasant for anyone and very versatile. It’s more for heat, although I’ve used it in cold climates without any issues.
I bought it blind and it turned out a winner. It’s an intrepid fragrance; you don’t smell old or like a lost youth, it gives a sense of security and dominance. Its longevity is moderate, the scent is pleasant and masculine. Perhaps you won’t receive compliments for wearing it, but you’ll feel them.
It’s that typical fragrance you find in airports on discount for between $25 and $40. It’s an EDT that opens citrusy, smells clean and fresh, and dries down to a marine scent. It projects very little and lasts about four or five hours. Being so generic, it doesn’t garner compliments. As I knew little about perfumes, I used to only buy the deals while travelling and ended up with a collection of these that last a short while and smell identical: Calvin Klein In2U, Ralph Lauren Polo Fresh, Antonio Banderas Power of Seduction. My advice: keep just one of these on discount for daily wear to smell good without necessarily attracting compliments.
It’s a simple, fresh scent perfect for everyday wear when you need to pull something together quickly. Longevity isn’t its strong suit, but for the price, you can’t ask for much more at Halloween; it certainly has the best value for money on the market. The aroma is fresh, summery and totally suitable for daily use; if you analyse it closely, it smells like a white-label Eros Flame, at least that’s how I perceive it.
After wearing it for longer, I definitely like it more; at first I felt it was very synthetic, but in reality the apple dominates in a fairly natural and fresh way. That said, it causes olfactory fatigue with three sprays in my case, so I recommend applying only two. It performs very well on summer days.
I consider it a very wearable fragrance. Spicy aroma, very spiced, I can detect something more fruity; it’s very ‘red’, so to speak, perhaps that’s why the bottle colour. A perfume that doesn’t overwhelm others’ senses excessively. Longevity and projection are moderate. As for the price, let’s not even talk; if you know where to look, you’ll find it at a dream price. (For this brand, I recommend avoiding department stores; there the price is exorbitant). I think it can be worn on both cold and hot days.
This perfume is the worst purchase in its price range. I got it in a department store for around 1,400 pesos (about $60); although it’s a fresh, masculine and easy-to-please scent, it’s nothing special. I even feel that fougère perfumes can smell better than this. As for longevity? The worst I’ve seen in a fresh scent: the smell lasts 20 minutes and then disappears magically. At this price you can find something better; if you plan to buy it, rethink the idea. There are better options, and even equally cheap ones like Adolfo Domínguez Cidrus Bergamota, Yves Saint Laurent EDP, Versace Pour Homme, or, as a fallback, the hyped-up Fakhar Black. Rating: 4/10, nice bottle, but its longevity and projection are worse than a refillable perfume.
A pleasant and simple fragrance that doesn’t last long but blends freshness with depth (assuming from the base notes) with warm touches. In Chile, in department stores on offer it’s around $35-40, but it’s better to buy it from perfumeries for approximately $25. I wouldn’t pay more, although I feel it’s a good ‘budget’ option compared to Eros EDP.
To be honest, for the price we shouldn’t expect too much, yet it could be better. The longevity is woefully poor; I set it aside for a couple of months hoping it would improve, but the change was minimal. At arm’s length it’s almost imperceptible; on clothes it lasts a bit longer, but you have to press the garment to your nose to detect it. The scent is too rich with that apple note; it’s nothing special, but if it lasted longer, it would be worth keeping in the collection. I wouldn’t rate it as terrible, but for everyday home wear it’s ideal, only to vanish the moment you make coffee. Honestly, unlike the other Halloween scents, this one is extremely short-lived.
I bought it blind on a colleague’s recommendation: it smells nice but nothing extraordinary. Fresh and spicy opening, a very natural, juicy red apple with a spicy kick of pepper and cardamom; then comes the lavender and rosemary, giving it a clean, aromatic herbal touch. The dry-down is a clean musk; I don’t detect sandalwood. It works well for young people, for everyday or casual situations. Very pleasant, but its performance leaves much to be desired: it lasts me 3–4 hours, projects well for about 30 minutes, then stays skin-close. It’s an affordable and versatile alternative, but without ambition, very much in the style of Legend EDP or EDT. The apple note is excellent here; if it lasted longer, it would be an excellent recommendation. Still, I enjoy wearing it at home or for work, though I do need to reapply every 2–3 hours to keep it going.
It gave me incredible results. It’s fresh and masculine, with surprisingly good longevity—nothing amazing, but better than people say. Ideal for everyday wear; everyone will like it. In fact, I’ve received more compliments than with more expensive perfumes. The trail is good for a fresh scent; I think the base notes give it strength. I don’t love it entirely, but it has charm. My office loved it. You can buy it blind; it’s a simple, youthful aroma.
I tried it out and it smells of red apple with lemon; it’s similar to 300 Km/h Max Turbo but fresher. The longevity isn’t the best.
If you’re in Argentina and looking for something that lasts longer than Kevin Black, this is it. I noticed it’s almost 90% identical.
A rich perfume perfect for evenings or winter. It’s not expensive; while it smells slightly synthetic at first, it improves significantly later. I recommend it.
