Asad Bourbon by Lattafa Perfumes is a spiced oriental fragrance for men. This creation, launched in 2025, unfolds a fragrance pyramid where the top notes combine lavender, mirabelle plum and pink pepper. The heart of the composition reveals cacao, nutmeg and davana, while the base notes settle on bourbon vanilla, amber and vetiver.

  • At first, it didn’t hook me; I tried it and left it forgotten for several weeks because something didn’t sit right with my nose. Until, in a perfume shop, while trying to sharpen my senses, I smelled The Most Wanted Intense, Bad Boy, and Valentino Born in Roma Intense. Upon analysing them, I felt a strange familiarity. Five minutes later, the light bulb went on: it was the Asad Bourbon. I went home and looked for it; my face of astonishment was when I realised that this monster has the DNA of those three giants. If you want something unforgettable that turns heads and is worth it for its price without emptying your wallet, it’s the definitive choice. If you can afford the others, buy them, but no one will know you’re wearing the Asad Bourbon.

  • I have around 35 Arabic perfumes and this one is sensational: very balanced, well-made, and with good longevity. It’s one of those you put on your arm and keep smelling all the time. For me, it was a blind buy and I will buy it again without doubt, along with CDN Intense, Hawas Ice, Dumont Nitro Intense, and 9 pm Elixir.

  • SrPatata12327?

At first, I was buying decants and the seller gave me an Arabic one for free every ten. I chose this thinking it was the regular Asad, on recommendation from Andrés Croxatto, but by mistake I took the Bourbon. It turned out to be my favourite scent of all. Although I didn’t notice the chocolate, I didn’t mind; it’s the first scent I never get tired of smelling. Ideal for young people or cold nights at parties; it’s a warm embrace with every breath. I adore it.

  • Chocolate and lavender, lasts forever and projects well. It’s not exclusive to the night; perfect for taking to work or university.

  • Smells of chocolate and lavender, lasts forever, and projects well. It’s not just for the evening; I wear it all day at the office or university.

  • Quite sweet; upon application, you note plum and pepper, then cocoa, nutmeg, and amber with a touch of vanilla and davana. On my skin, the nutmeg, vanilla, and amber dominate. The longevity was curious: I applied it at 5:21 and it stopped projecting by 9, but it lingered close to the skin for another four hours before fading. It resembles Valentino Intense only at the beginning, then evolves and diverges. It’s for cold climates; don’t use it at the gym because on my skin it smells like plastic vomit and can be unpleasant.

  • After weeks and two months, this perfume smells absolutely delicious. It lasts about nine hours and has a projection of three. It’s very good if you’re just starting out. I love the combination of lavender and cocoa.

  • It lasts quite a while, but the scent doesn’t convince me. It’s invasive, heavy, and tiring; it can even cause headaches. The chocolate note is noticeable, but it’s too sweet, lacking balance and soul, and it doesn’t evolve. If you’re looking to grab attention for little money, this is your perfume. A pity for teenagers, especially those from Argentina or the region, as it smells just like Axe Chocolate.

  • Fragranticman

Absolutely delicious, sweet and spicy, with a very good balance. It’s a mainstream scent with huge mass appeal. The vanilla and cocoa combination is spectacular. Perfect for winter and informal wear, leaning more towards evening than daytime, suitable for all ages. While the cocoa could be mistaken for any chocolate perfume, it would be a mistake to call it ‘Axe Chocolate’; it is far more complex and evolves remarkably: starting with a fresh lavender note lasting about five minutes, then moving to the heart with dry cocoa and nutmeg. By the hour, the base settles in: vanilla, amber, and the heart’s cocoa, offering an intense sweetness that isn’t cloying for around four hours. Afterwards, the sweetness fades on my skin, leaving a lightly sweetened cocoa note accompanied by the plum acidity from the opening and a softly bitter vetiver that adds depth and character. Occasionally, it reminds me of three fragrances: Valentino, Azzaro, and the SWY mentioned earlier. It’s excellent because, while reminiscent of those three, it has its own identity and isn’t a direct clone. I tested it with two sprays on the back of my hand and it lasted 8-9 hours without being bothersome; I hope the temperature drops so I can try it with 8-10 sprays. I insist: reducing its aroma to ‘Axe Chocolate’ is superficial.

  • A good fragrance; in my case, lavender, pepper, and cocoa predominate, not as sweet as others say. I see it as perfect for autumn or spring before the heat. I’d give it 6.5 for projection and longevity, but for the price, it’s a shrewd purchase.

  • metroidsoldier

It’s chocolate, lavender, and vanilla, but in short, this Arabic fragrance smells exactly like Axe de Chocolate. If you like Bad Boy, you’ll love Asad Bourbon.

  • Franco21rock

I love it; one of my best purchases of 2025. Good price, good longevity, and a rich smell, far too good for everyday winter wear. No regrets with this perfume.

  • Those who say it smells like Axe de Chocolate are right regarding the cocoa note, but it’s not a linear scent nor does it reduce to that. I bought it blind for 30 dollars with high expectations and it reminded me a lot of Azzaro TMW Parfum. It’s far from BIR except for that initial lavender burst. I applied 10 sprays and ended up dizzy; it projects a lot but disappears from the skin after 6 hours. I’ll let it macerate for a few months to see how it develops.

  • If you let this fragrance oxidise for a month, it fills rooms with just seven sprays. For what it costs, it’s totally worth it; it’s a delight and, besides, women love it.

  • I bought it blind looking for something for winter, as my collection is mostly summer scents. Being from the north-east of Mexico, I wanted something for the December-February cold. After reading reviews, it was a total success. From the first day at work, I received compliments; a colleague said she could smell it was ‘chocolatey’ and yes, it’s noticeable quickly, but it’s not cloying. It goes great in cold or mild weather. Longevity is another success: four sprays last all day. I’ve never owned Azzaro The Most Wanted, but upon trying it, the similarity is striking. For the price, an excellent option.

  • Many define it as a mix between Valentino BIR Intense and Azzaro The Most Wanted, and I confirm the presence of both, but with a sweeter, vanilla, and cocoa twist. I’ve read that some smell Axe de Chocolate in it, which amuses me, but my first impression smelling the bottle was exactly that. Once applied to skin, dry down, it beats any fragrance in its price range. Adding its brutal performance (I got it on offer in Spain for 25 euros), it quickly became one of my favourites and I use it regularly, except in summer. Probably the fragrance I’ve recommended the most in my life.

  • JohnAcosta25

It’s a bomb of lavender and cocoa where pepper and a touch of plum balance it without being cloying. Ideal for night dates in the cold. Although it recalls Axe de Chocolate, it surpasses it in performance and aroma by a mile. I wore it at 7am and could still smell it at 4pm; the projection lasts about 2 to 3 hours. I keep it to let it oxidise and perform better. If you liked Bad Boy OG, this is an affordable replacement with better performance. For under 35 dollars, it’s a pleasant surprise.

  • Choklito-EDP

One of my best blind buys; an exquisite aroma that has earned me many compliments at parties and night outs. Quality and price: spot on. Longevity and projection are very good; four sprays are enough for a night. I wouldn’t wear it daily or in the heat; it’s sweet and can be overpowering in the office or school. Ideal for dates or events where you want to stand out. It resembles both BIR Intense and TMW Intense, like a hybrid of the two. Asad Bourbon is worth it; it doesn’t smell synthetic like others.

  • I’ve received quite a few compliments with this scent. Personally, I love it. I would totally recommend it for cold weather and casual wear. Soft and elegant. It’s a good perfume at a very affordable price.

  • Mortadelo mishogino

Wow… I’ve read previous reviews (by canary or kkcc) and I was terrified. When it arrived, I was scared… Very nice box (better than many designer ones), packaging… spectacular, good, shiny, stands out… Atomiser is fine, but I don’t like the cap. I understand why people compare it to Wanted Intense (I own it too) and I must say that, while differences are noticeable if you compare them side by side, no one on the street will notice. Projection lasts about an hour or two; longevity… It’s been 7 hours on skin (not to mention on clothes), with a very good opening and an even better dry-down. I picked it up for €25 and it’s brilliant. Some women have liked it; others have said it smells a bit strange, but once they get used to it, they find it sexy and even sweet.

  • campeones22

I smelled it at the Carrefour perfumery, and the truth is the opening is a bit chaotic, but the dry-down does resemble the Azzaro quite a bit and it also has good longevity. Same as always… if you have the money, go for the Azzaro; it’s much better quality; if not, this isn’t bad either. In summary, a good perfume.

  • Ocampolores

It’s a fairly rich fragrance, and as is generally said, it’s a combination of Born in Roma and Azzaro, though to me it smells much more like Azzaro The Most Wanted. That touch of lavender in the opening is, I’d say, one of the things I like most about this perfume. Buy blind 100 per cent, especially if you like sweet but non-intrusive perfumes. The longevity is quite good, but I wouldn’t consider it a beast mode perfume.

  • Nitai Maldonado

Pure autumn and winter scent, almost identical to Azzaro The Most Wanted EDP. It’s a gem: a sweet gourmand with spaced-out spicy notes that give it character. Super wearable, buy blind without fear, 100% recommended.

  • In the opening, I can detect some fruit (as indicated, it’s plum), but it’s accompanied by a clean, well-executed lavender. The best part for my taste comes in the dry-down: it’s tasty, sweet, and warm, yet it doesn’t lose its masculine touch. Undoubtedly, a good perfume for cold weather and temperate climates below 20 degrees. I don’t usually buy perfumes based on compliments, but I must say this fragrance does generate them.

  • Very good perfume. The opening is a bit mixed, sitting somewhere between AMW, Valentino BIR, and SWY; predominantly, a Valentino-style lavender is noticeable, before it transforms into a cocoa note more akin to SWY, reminiscent of chestnut or vanilla. Suitable for all occasions; I wear it daily or for informal outings. Rating 9/10.

  • Aaronfragancias

It’s a slightly unusual perfume, in my opinion. Yes, it’s rich and people will like it, but it hasn’t pleasantly surprised me. The opening is very confusing and explosive, where I detect a very bright lavender reminiscent of Valentino BIR Intense (nowhere near matching that quality), but the cocoa overshadows it. I didn’t entirely like the opening; it reminds me of Axe’s Dark Temptation. The dry-down is richer and resembles the vanilla in ATMW a bit, but just like the lavender in BIR, it doesn’t come close to that quality. In summary, it’s a good perfume; perhaps the fact that I have a congested nose or it just arrived today played a part. For now, it has disappointed me slightly as I can’t detect any of the DNA notes some reviewers claimed it had. I’ll give it a 6/10 for now: it’s rich, easy to like, and wearable, but I can’t pinpoint a moment where I think, ‘ok, this perfume is heading in the right direction.’ I hope it matures and improves, as I feel it should. That said, personally, it didn’t surprise or please me greatly, but it’s highly likely this perfume will be a hit with everyone in your circle.

  • It’s a rich scent but bears no resemblance to what it is supposedly inspired by. Once it dries down, it settles into chocolate and vanilla.

  • I have a collection of 13 perfumes, some with ultra-sophisticated scents acclaimed by ultra-knowing critics and all the fanfare, and none have given me more compliments than this. It’s a very rich scent. Speaking with a perfume-loving girl, we concluded it’s not for everyone: the scent will please everyone, but to wear it, you need personality to match this rich perfume; you need presence. It’s a perfume that, if not used correctly, can even be too strong. Whenever I wear it to go out, people never stop telling me how good I smell; however, I’ve met people who own it and find it hard to wear because they feel it’s too much for them. It’s definitely a blind buy.

  • Avadrullado

Clean, sweet, and spicy opening from that mix of bourbon vanilla, lavender, chocolate, and nutmeg. Lasts well for about 8 hours. The trail is normal; you won’t be smelled from across the room unless you over-spray (it’s not a Hawas). Wear it in cool weather, autumn, and winter, for the office or going out (not for the gym, you’ll kill someone). Being sweet and chocolatey, everyone will like it. It’s a blind buy, but better to try it first. In summary: it’s like mixing Azzaro The Most Wanted EDP with Valentino Born in Roma; you’ll be full of compliments and the price is a bargain. For cold climates and any time of day, it can be your winter signature without issues.

  • ChoParfum

Hello, wow, this perfume is incredible. I own Azzaro The Most Wanted EDP Intense and I don’t think this is a dupe, but its evolution from the opening to the dry-down on skin is phenomenal. Scent 10/10, projection 10/10, and longevity 10/10. Mainly vanilla and chocolate, with that fantastic touch of lavender.

  • oud sillage

I tested 30 fragrances in decants to choose just three to buy in bottles. Asad Bourbon was one of the three! It’s a super-complete perfume, suitable for almost all year round, except when it’s very hot. A complex, rich, and very pleasant fragrance. The citrus top note of the Mirabelle plum is only enjoyed at the beginning, but if you apply it to clothes, that rich citrus note lasts much longer. Moderate trail, allowing you to use it almost everywhere. Modest longevity, which is why I carry a decant to reapply. I’m macerating it to let it potentiate in a month or two, but every time I use it, I enjoy it immensely! At some point I pitted it against Liquid Brun, which is one of the most voted, but I consider Asad Bourbon a better buy because it’s almost half the price and has more complexity than LB, which just smells like dessert to me.

  • Rojasteven04

Hello, what a fragrance, eh? A brutal cacao and vanilla blend that clings to clothes for hours on end; honestly, I’m absolutely blown away, a proper crack.

  • Rich. Chaotic in the opening, where it most resembles Valentino BIR Intense, and then in the dry down it approaches Most Wanted, but with tinges of simplicity. It brings compliments, smells like a man, but not a severely masculine man, rather a modern one. This last point makes it a youthful fragrance, nocturnal due to its extremely sweet, winter, and autumnal proposal.

  • Julieta070809..

Asad Bourbon, what to say? – A fragrance I bought due to the hype on social media and which I didn’t like at all; it smells like chocolate, ‘IT SMELLS LIKE AXE MUSK’. I don’t recommend it for a mature man; it’s a youthful, sweet, nocturnal, sexy fragrance, up to a maximum of 30 years old.

  • ikerperseo

In the opening, it’s inevitable that it reminds you of Valentino BIN Intense, lavender and vanilla. In the dry down it can also remind you of Azzaro. I have both and yes, I can say they remind you of each other. By the hour, the lavender disappears and a sweeter, more chocolatey aroma remains. I see it as indisputably more suitable for dates, outings, etc. However, I tried one day wearing it for the office, to check its performance in enclosed spaces, and two people commented that I was leaving a trail. It’s clear the first two hours project. For its price, it’s very good. And a blind buy, without a doubt; I don’t think anyone will find it horrible, haha.

  • mi_moreno_go

Easy to wear, nothing deep or challenging; I don’t think there’s anyone who wouldn’t like it. Smells clean and sweet. It’s quite linear; what I notice most is a very bright lavender and the vanilla. If you’re looking for something complex, mature, or innovative, it won’t work for you, but everyone will surely like it. It’s one of my favourites, without a doubt, only the opening makes me sneeze too much.

  • Basically, it’s an Azzaro The Most Wanted with a cacao note that’s a bit overpowering, and frankly, it finds me slightly annoying.

  • petrowski4

It smells sweet, reminding me of those strawberry chocolate bars sold in my country. Not for hot days, more for the night or cold weather. Decent performance. It’s unisex, fresh yet sweet at the same time, can be a bit cloying but smells good. I don’t think many will hate it, but nor will many love it truly; it’s youthful. If it’s cheap, it’s a good buy, but it’s not a perfume that will drive you crazy.
