For around ten dollars, you can’t ask for more. It smells lovely, with a very marked citrus note, perfect for wearing at home or just to smell nice for a while. On my skin, it lasts a maximum of two hours and is quite subtle.
They gifted me this for my birthday and it does exactly what it’s supposed to: sweet, with a citrusy and fresh twist, perfect for any occasion. Longevity and projection are moderate, but for the price, there’s no complaint. Zara perfumes are ideal for everyday wear if you’re looking for something affordable that smells good; don’t expect magic or extreme performance, but for this money, it delivers. Although I think it suits older people better than my 22 years, as Cris Eduardo says, it remains a good option.
So synthetic it feels like you’re wearing insecticide instead of a fragrance. There are Arab houses that produce perfumes at this same price with much better quality. I recommend avoiding the 800 Black at all costs.
Smells so synthetic it could be insecticide rather than perfume. There are Arab houses that offer far better quality at this price point. Avoid the 800 Black at all costs.
I bought it thinking it would be minimally similar to the Emblem Intense by Montblanc and it isn’t. It’s not bad, not expensive, but the truth is I would never buy it again. It’s a very strong fragrance, for people over 25. It smells a bit like Lacoste Pour Homme which I also ended up gifting. Not for use in the heat.
It reminds me a bit of Armani Code or Azzaro The Most Wanted; it’s sweet and warm. I think it has good longevity for a Zara dupe: on my skin, it lasts about 6-7 hours. The projection isn’t the best, noticeable for only 1-2 hours, but it’s quite versatile for cooler climates. For around twenty dollars (or thirty with the Navy Black pairing), I recommend it wholeheartedly. Rating: scent 6/10, price 9/10, longevity 6/10, projection 4/10, and smell 7.5/10.
It reminds me a little of Armani Code or Azzaro TMW, a sweet and warm scent. I think it has very good longevity for a Zara dupe; on my skin it lasts about 6-7 hours. The projection isn’t the best, only noticeable for 1-2 hours. It’s quite versatile for various occasions as long as the weather is cool. For around $20 or $30 in a pack with its partner Navy Black, I would recommend it fully. Compliments: 6/10, Price: 9/10, Longevity: 6/10, Projection: 4/10, Scent: 7.5/10.
I bought it with the pack that includes the Navy Black. I must say this has been the Zara fragrance that has given me the most compliments. Its performance is around 4-5 hours, projecting steadily for the first 4 hours and reaching almost 2 metres. I don’t see it as similar to Valentino Born in Roma, but rather more like CH 212 Black. If you’re looking for something nocturnal, cheap and that smells too good, this is your option. I would definitely buy it again, it’s a great alternative.
Superb perfume and very cheap; I only wear it for school runs.
Very good and economical perfume, I use it only for school.
It has a super similar touch to Azzaro Most Wanted Intense EDT. I’ve read it’s similar to Bleu de Chanel… check the pituitary gland.
The aroma is quite generic and synthetic. Out of the entire Shades of Black collection, I think this is one of the worst. It has a very synthetic opening of tonka bean with a very subtle yuzu. Normally yuzu is a bitter citrus, but here it’s not so noticeable, so it doesn’t overpower. Perhaps it has undeclared notes. As it dries down, I notice a subtle woody note because the saffron scent is the most prominent. The longevity is terrible, barely two hours with all my effort, unless I over-apply it.
I was gifted this on my birthday. Good perfume, generic and synthetic, but excellent value for money. It reminds me a little of Armani Code. It’s for night or dates; don’t expect heads to turn at the club, but you will get some compliments. 8/10.
Sweet, warm and vanilla-scented, perfect for quiet dinners with friends or a partner. At around thirty dollars it doesn’t last long but it’s inviting and reminiscent of Valentino’s Born in Roma. It’s youthful yet serious, like cotton candy; I’ve received compliments from people of all ages, though it’s not memorable. If you’re looking to make a statement, this isn’t for you. Zara has Rock Shock which smells similar but with cocoa, making it warmer and more serious for going out at night. It’s a spectacular buy for the price, good for gifting or personal use. Despite not being memorable, it’s excellent for garnering compliments at any dinner. If I had to buy it again or choose another sweet scent, I’d opt for something else. It’s not bad, but you need to find a fragrance that suits you and the occasion.

Zara has the Rock Shock which is more memorable, warm and serious thanks to its cocoa note, better for going out at night. It’s a spectacular purchase for the price, good for gifting or personal use. Although not memorable, it serves well for receiving compliments at normal dinners. If I have to choose between repurchasing it or finding another sweet scent, I’d choose another. It’s not bad, but you need to match the scent to the occasion.
Smells lovely and is affordable; I’d take it to eat out with the family.
Smells rich and is very cheap; I use it perfectly for going out to eat with the family.
