This is my first Rayhaan and it disappoints: it’s not bad, but the influencer hype is exaggerated. 1. It’s not masculine; everyone thought it was a woman’s perfume. 2. Nothing new, just a loud, synthetic citrus like Limoni, without justifying its price. 3. It’s not inspired by Afternoon Swinn nor does it reach Jean Lowe Azure. 4. If you like citrus, don’t pay more than $25. 5. The bottle is horrible; it looks Western. 6. The only good thing is the magnetic cap. I’ll give it time to macerate; perhaps a miracle will save Icarus from its arrogant ambition.
It must be acknowledged that the early batches last a long time for a citrus: at eight hours it smells good on the skin with three hours of projection. The scent is citrus, a typical cologne structure with neroli and woods, but the citrus remains throughout. It’s quite linear. I layered it with Game of Spades Full House and Rayhaan devoured it, showing it’s intense. However, it smells quite artificial; if it were natural, it wouldn’t last so long. It doesn’t smell refined, not even for its price. My partner liked it (7/10), I’d give it a 6. After a while, it tired me out. It has hype, but it will pass. It’s not worth going crazy to get it.
