Historic Sahara by Afnan is an oriental vanilla creation, designed for men and women. This new fragrance, launched in 2025, has been crafted by Imran Fazlani. Its olfactive pyramid unfolds with top notes of cardamom, cinnamon, and bergamot; a heart composed of vanilla, sugar, and elemi; and a warm base of praline, almond, tonka bean, musk, and ambroxan.

Smells like real vanilla syrup in a bottle, sweet with a hint of spices. It sticks to skin and clothes alike; if you spray both, it lasts all day without fail. I’d only recommend it for cold weather; in other seasons it would be unbearable. I’ve received many compliments from friends, though I haven’t used it much and only on one woman. My notes: Scent 8/10, Sillage 9/10, Longevity 10/10, Versatility 4/10. For sweet fragrances (not my usual style), nothing will make me swap my Azzaro TMWI.
