First review and short: smells like old books, what a rarity!
Definitely it is for an old-school style, strong and overwhelming very quickly. Not everyone can wear it; it is suited to cold climates and open spaces. A mistake in warm climates. It is the kind of scent you could use as an air freshener to cover any odour (if that is your aim). For over-forties, without a doubt. It fulfils its notes completely. At times it gives a burst of a bygone lady’s aroma, strong and matriarchal; at others it takes you to the serious, even grumpy grandfather, but of those who turn to you and laugh with you, playing pranks with the grandchildren (those cool grandpas who must put a face to strangers). If it is the kind of scent you would only use in special situations, it is not for daily wear because it would tire you out very soon.
Definitely for a classic, strong, and overwhelming style. Not for everyone. Ideal for cold climates and open spaces; in heat, it’s a mistake. Works perfectly as a room fragrance to cover up odours. It’s for those over 40. It delivers on its notes. Sometimes it gives off a blast of a lady’s vintage scent, strong and matriarchal; other times it takes you to the serious, grumpy but playful grandfather who laughs and plays tricks with the grandchildren (those cool grandpas who must impress the outsiders). Use it only for special occasions, not daily, as you’ll get tired of it soon.
With an inexperienced nose but good references, the first test reminded me of the musks from Avon that my grandfather used, a known scent that transforms into something unexpected as it dries. Over the days, I grew fond of it and sensed a green note that made me think of Green Irish Tweed, but darker and more mysterious; that is the heart of the perfume, with tobacco at the end. At first, it seems suited for an adult, but as it dries, it exudes mystery and confidence, ideal for a young person wanting to smell different. It is one of the longest-lasting: radiating for 3 hours and over 12 on the skin. Cheers.
In the spicy notes, it sometimes recalls Air du Désert, then others from the eighties and nineties, especially of the fougère vibe, though here it is more of a spicy chypre: patchouli and woods. It moves totally away from the Arab vibe, the house’s specialty, and brings us a virile and intense aroma with fantastic performance in longevity and projection (for those seeking intense perfumery and macho personality). The price, for the aroma and performance within a book, is unique, in the niche style (the bottle is 80k but it is enough and more). Without fear, it is one of the house’s top picks, alongside Oud for Glory, Raghba Wood Intense, and others (I know the older ones better than the army of new Lattafa releases). With Adeeb, there is no need to miss the powerful launches from past decades. It is not an old scent, it just has a vintage feel due to its strength and intensity. It’s for mature men or young people seeking intense perfumery as a trend. Give it a try, do not miss out. Cheers.

With Adeeb, you won’t miss the powerful masculine scents of decades past; it is not an old fragrance, it simply has that vintage touch in strength and intensity. It is refined, elegant, and has that glamour of a time when formal wear was daily attire. Definitely not for the young or those following fashion; it is a mature fragrance competing with great classics like Rochas Monsieur, Aramis, or Kouros from the 70s and 80s. As a scent it is very good, but frankly, I find it outdated for anyone under 50. Performance is correct and the presentation is creative, looking like a treasure found by Indiana Jones. Perfectly unisex. Scent: 9.0. Projection: moderate. Longevity: 6 to 8 hours. Recommended if you like vintage scents.
