It’s economical but smells beautiful. It’s super floral, sweet yet light. It has great sillage and a good fixative. I think it’s one of those rare gems that are worth far more than the price.

I’m sorry, but I didn’t like it at all; nothing like on my skin. I bought it for the low price and the sample on the cap, which seemed pleasant. Upon opening it, puagh! An almost suffocating synthetic smell, like acetone or thinner. I thought it might be going off, but I bought it from the official store. I wore it to work and a friend tried it; it suited her better, though I didn’t notice any defined notes. I wouldn’t recommend buying it without testing it on your skin; you could end up with a real bummer.

  • I was given this as a gift and couldn’t stand it. It seemed acidic and synthetic, worse than any supermarket cologne. Other brands like Gabriela Sabattini or Priscila Presley outshine it by a mile. If I had been Elizabeth Taylor, I certainly wouldn’t have signed off on such a pot.

I absolutely love it; it’s potent and super floral. I wear it at night for formal events. It’s not for older people, I’m 18 and it fits me perfectly 🙂

  • What interesting Elizabeth Taylor fragrances! I’m discovering them now: I have Diamonds and Rubies, Diamonds and Emeralds, and now Diamonds and Sapphires. This one surprised me! It’s a good combination of fruits and flowers. On my skin and clothes, it smells divine. I think the melon really shines and lasts a while. As it dries down, it leaves a soft white floral scent with hints of melon and peach here and there. I think it’s perfect for spring or summer days. Delicate enough for the office. Although the price is low, the quality is high. It smells luxurious. Good sillage and lasts 6 hours on the skin, even on clothes for days!

  • I don’t know why others find it sweet; to me, it seems super spicy and bitter. Perhaps that’s how it works on my skin: at first I perceive the lilies, freesia, and the fruity notes, but then it’s completely warm spices. It’s not great, but it’s functional. A boy I like liked it, and that satisfies me.

Of the three gem perfumes, this is undoubtedly the worst. It smells of artificial melon mixed with hairspray. Honestly, I don’t understand anyone who dares to wear it.

Of the gem trilogy, this is by far the worst. It’s a mix of artificial melon and hairspray. I truly can’t conceive of anyone using this.

  • I want to buy this bottle blind. The notes on Fragrantica are spectacular. We learn with time what suits us; if it smells horrible to someone, perhaps it’s not their skin. My sister and I have different pH levels: strong scents suit her, while they evaporate quickly on me. If we know these details, we choose better. I’m not an expert, but I know how to identify what I like, which is why I never wear the same thing twice.

  • I’m about to buy this bottle for my collection and want to do it blind. Fragrantica presents the notes and I read the comments, but many don’t help. These notes seem spectacular; over time we learn which notes suit us, and if someone says it smells horrible, it’s not a clear reference. My sister and I have different skin types: ultra-strong perfumes suit her, but they evaporate quickly on her. If we know these details, we value them more when choosing. I’m not a specialist, but I’ve learned to identify what I like. I love them and that’s why I never wear the same one; if I like certain notes, I choose other fragrances.

I liked it. It’s one of the fragrances my mum uses, and it smells delicious on her. It’s cheap and I feel a bit elegant.

  • Finally, I could buy it! I like it. At first, it reminds me of L’Eau d’Issey and CK Escape due to the melon, but the dry downs are different. I definitely prefer this Liz Taylor version: it’s long-lasting, has a green note I haven’t quite understood, and the price is unbeatable. I think I had COVID and this affected my sense of smell (for real, like a bloodhound); I hope to recover it to give a more objective opinion and not let myself be led by personal impressions.

I was the first to try Elizabeth Taylor because my mum adores CK Escape and this seemed similar. The bottle is gorgeous, and if it’s by Liz Taylor, what could possibly go wrong? I saw it was cheap and ordered it as a gift. My mum, who works testing perfumes and loves aquatic scents, saw no difference from CK Escape. She loved it. It’s super nineties, aquatic, floral, with an exquisite melon opening. As it dries down, divine spices remain. Among the White Diamonds flankers, it’s the second most elegant. It’s versatile: perfect for the office or elegant events without being boring. It has a vintage DNA that lovers will appreciate. Although it’s an Eau Toilette, it lasts quite a while. Elizabeth Taylor evokes stories and moments. The sapphire is protection, linked to the sea and wisdom. She used it to protect herself from envy and masks. It’s aquatic and evokes that protection. It leaves character with a subtlety of charisma that needs to be discovered. Mystery! That is Diamonds and Sapphires.

It was my first Elizabeth Taylor fragrance because my mum loves CK Escape and this seemed similar on Fragrantica. The bottle is beautiful, and if it’s Liz Taylor, what could possibly go wrong? I found it at a good price and ordered it as a gift. My mother, who works testing perfumes and loves aquatic ozonic scents, saw no difference from CK Escape; she loved it! Diamonds and Sapphires is very 90s: aquatic, floral, with an exquisite melon opening. As it dries down, delicious spices remain. Among the flankers of White Diamonds Original, it’s the second most elegant. It’s versatile: perfect for the office or elegant events where you want seriousness with something cheerful. It maintains that vintage DNA that lovers of old perfumes value. It has good longevity despite being an Eau de Toilette. Elizabeth Taylor wanted to evoke a memory or story in every fragrance. The sapphire is protection, linked to the sea in many legends; she used it to evoke that protection against envy and masks. It’s an aquatic fragrance with a subtle, mysterious character that you have to discover yourself.

I remember my mum, when I was a child, had perfumes like Opium, Angels, or Demons, and this one. I loved it then and I still do. It smells like Elizabeth Taylor: elegant, mature, and distinguished. It’s a discontinued fragrance, nothing modern, but I have a last ounce to use because it’s hard to find now. Its scent lasts a long time; I remember my mum’s handkerchiefs smelling of this for months.

  • I was 21 and worried about the vintage and synthetic reviews, but it’s not like that. It’s wearable and youthful. I bought the original on Amazon. Scent: feminine, fresh, and sweet from the flowers and melon; it smells luxurious. It has presence and elegance. Notes: a floral in melon water. Longevity: moderate, over six hours on skin. Sillage: about a metre and a half for the first two hours, then skin scent. Verdict: I will buy it again. In a world of gourmands and citrus, this fragrance stands out. It’s perfect for the heat; it makes you feel fresh without losing femininity. Brutal quality for the price, it smells fine.

At 21, I was worried it might be vintage and synthetic based on reviews, but it’s super wearable and youthful. I bought the original on Amazon and it smells luxurious: feminine, fresh, with a natural sweetness of flowers and melon. It has presence and elegance. The longevity is moderate, about two hours at arm’s length before it sits close to the skin. In a world full of gourmands, this stands out for its freshness in the heat and its brutal quality for the price. I’ll be buying it again!

  • Hello! I bought this blind, guided by the notes and comparisons to Escape or Sunflowers, but on my skin it doesn’t smell like those. It seemed rich and fresh, but it wasn’t what I expected, so I wouldn’t repurchase it.
