It’s my everyday perfume. Like all of Elizabeth Taylor’s, it has a moderate to heavy sillage and very good longevity. In my country, Argentina, it’s not commercially available. There’s always someone asking me what perfume it is.
It’s not for me. I was gifted it some time ago and didn’t like it. I think it’s the lily scent that reminds me of an older lady’s perfume; it’s not unpleasant, but it’s not something I would wear…
My mum gifted me this fragrance; she bought it but didn’t like it. It smells clean and very floral. I don’t think I’ll be wearing it again.
I first tried this a month ago, but now that I’ve worn it several times, I have a clear opinion. All of Elizabeth Taylor’s fragrances tell a story, a moment, an inspiration that marked her and that she wanted to capture in a spray to relive. Sparkling White Diamonds is literally a bubbly bath; it smells like Dove bar soap to me. Elizabeth designed it for post-shower wear, so that the soap scent on the skin lasts for hours without fading. I use it to go to sleep, and when I wake up, it smells like those beautiful flowers from the notes, so well-blended that they comfort and calm you. It can be worn however you like; it works wonderfully in a cold winter; literally, you smell like you’ve just stepped out of the shower with a soap mixed with white flowers that emerge as the spray dries. For what it offers, it could be much more expensive. It has the DNA of the original White Diamonds, but it is much calmer. The original is intoxicating because it shouts about its 12-hour longevity; it’s not for everyone, but this one is more subtle and feminine, equally powerful, with a distinct olfactory path. Give it a try; I highly recommend it for everyday wear and for sleeping; this perfume gentleman makes your dreams smell good.
