The iris note is very prominent and lasts a long time; while it’s not my personal favourite, if you’re an iris lover, you’ll be blown away and it will last all day. It’s like a more wearable version of Dior Homme with significantly better longevity.
It seems unusual at first; the opening is soft, unlike others that overwhelm. You can detect citrus with a sandalwood base, maintaining a humble profile for the first 20 minutes. Then that sweet, aromatic sandalwood comes to the fore, but it doesn’t stop there; after two hours it bursts into an opulent sandalwood, projecting triple its initial strength. By six hours, you get used to it and it seems like a skin scent, yet when you smell the room, its presence returns. After 15 hours, it settles into the skin. In heat, it lasts 12 hours under the sun, and on clothes, it’s noticeable even after washing and drying.
