Blood Concept is pure love-hate, a beast of a perfume and very masculine. Forget the unisex label; I wouldn’t dream of letting a Disney princess wear it. Everyone use what they like, but this is undeniably masculine. The opening is potent: it smells of leather (not plastic, despite claims of synthetic notes), with a clean citrus touch. Then everything relaxes as the citrus yields to wood and amber, blending with the leather in a sublime way. The carrot seeds are there, even if you can’t pinpoint their origin. And that very subtle hint of marijuana… with Blood Concept, this is one of my favourites. Bear in mind to use it with moderation as it clings fiercely and lasts an eternity. I recommend it.
