I love the memories it evokes; I was gifted a 50cc bottle in 2005 and bought a 100cc one in 2021, and the nostalgia was immediate. It’s like a time machine that breaks the laws of physics, making me remember it as if it were yesterday. It’s one of my favourites in the Jacques Bogart line: great quality, lasting about five hours with five sprays, though reapplication is unlikely given the accessible price I have. The trail creates a special aura; it’s synthetic but delicious; just don’t overdo it with the trigger, two sprays and it becomes utopian. It reminds me greatly of Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana, which I also own from 2010, but this Chevignon is older. Does Chevignon win? Fantastic oakmoss, sweet and sour, slightly salty and floral. Totally recommended.
I absolutely love it. I was gifted a 50ml bottle back in 2005 and was instantly hooked, so in 2021 I splurged on a 100ml bottle which flooded me with memories. Perfumery is a pure time machine, breaking all physical laws, haha; it feels like it was yesterday. It’s one of my favourites from the original Jacques Bogart line. The quality is top-notch, lasting around five hours with five sprays. Reapplication is unlikely given the price, which is a plus as I own so many perfumes I don’t mind firing away with the spray. The trail is very noticeable, creating a special aura. Obviously it’s synthetic but it tastes delicious; just don’t overdo it or you’ll hate it, two sprays is the sweet spot and it becomes a utopia. It reminds me greatly of Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue, which I also loved in the 2010 version, but this Chevignon came before. Does the copycat beat the original? Fantastic oakmoss, sweet and sour with a hint of salt and floral notes. Recommended.
Exquisite; I would buy it again. Aromatic, citrusy, aquatic and talc-like. It holds memories of other scents and makes me feel like I’m at the beach. It’s by the creator of Lapidus Pour Homme. I hope they never discontinue it as I think it’s excellent.
