Exquisite fragrance that I would buy again instantly. Aromatic, citrusy, aquatic, with that powdery touch that instantly transports me to the seaside. From the same creator as Lapidus Pour Homme. I hope they never discontinue it, because it is simply excellent.

I absolutely love it. I was gifted a 50ml bottle back in 2005 and was instantly hooked, so in 2021 I splurged on a 100ml bottle which flooded me with memories. Perfumery is a pure time machine, breaking all physical laws, haha; it feels like it was yesterday. It’s one of my favourites from the original Jacques Bogart line. The quality is top-notch, lasting around five hours with five sprays. Reapplication is unlikely given the price, which is a plus as I own so many perfumes I don’t mind firing away with the spray. The trail is very noticeable, creating a special aura. Obviously it’s synthetic but it tastes delicious; just don’t overdo it or you’ll hate it, two sprays is the sweet spot and it becomes a utopia. It reminds me greatly of Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue, which I also loved in the 2010 version, but this Chevignon came before. Does the copycat beat the original? Fantastic oakmoss, sweet and sour with a hint of salt and floral notes. Recommended.
