Upon release, the perfume unfolds a blend of rose, saffron, chestnut, and geranium. The heart reveals a complex mix of white oud, Gurjum balsam, guaiac wood, rosebuds, cedar, iris root, and vanilla. Finally, the base settles on notes of oud wood, patchouli, amber, musk, and sandalwood.

An oriental that smells like something else entirely. It captures the opulence of the Middle East with an animalistic touch, rose, and that magical ‘something’ that sets it apart from other Oud-rose combos. It begins with an animal, medicinal burst of Oud and saffron, then floods the senses with a dark, potent rose. It settles into a smoky rose with amber and incense. The quality of the Oud is top-notch. Honestly, I’d choose this over any other Oud, such as the ubiquitous ‘The Night’ by Malle. With just a couple of sprays, an exotic cloud fills the room. One of the most beautiful fragrances from the house and well worth it. The best Oud. Lasts a long time and is captivating. 10/10
