  If you truly love the oud and saffron notes, you need this. For me, it was love at first sniff. Elegant, unique, and above all, mystery in a bottle. Its performance, being a Perfume Extract by Tiziana Terenzi, is flawless. With three or five sprays, you’ll be scented for 12 hours or more. Except in extreme heat, it suits any occasion, though due to its darkness, I prefer wearing it in the evenings and at night.

  A very special fragrance. It starts off hostile with saffron at full volume. After a few minutes, the skies clear and geranium, rose, cedar, and a fine oud base emerge. It’s raspy, like newly varnished wooden furniture. The heart is notably woody and vanilla-scented, with a green floral touch from the geranium that is decidedly not feminine. In the dry down, only saffron, wood, amber, and vanilla remain. I like it; it sits somewhere between Laudano Nero and a blend with Perris Montecarlo’s Oud Imperial. A mature aroma without doubt. Younger people may not take to it as it strays from the fresh and light. It’s dense, powerful, and characterful. I see it for elegant or formal wear in cooler climates, not for summer. On my skin it lasts 10 hours, projecting well for the first three. Scent 8.5/10, Sillage 9/10, Projection 8.5/10, Longevity 9/10.

  In short, it’s the TT version of Oud for Greatness. Perhaps a touch more woody and floral, with plenty of rose, less spicy, but they are remarkably similar. Saffron is on full blast. It’s not a bad perfume, but for me it was a disappointment; I expected something more purposeful and dark.
