  • This is a Memo fragrance where the dry-down is the star. The opening is potent and, I admit, I didn’t like it; it smells like burning glued plywood. But by the hour, it changes radically: the oud and tolu woods become pleasantly smoky and give way to exquisitely caramelised pepper and tonka. This part is the best, and as with all good things, it is worth the wait. It is a good fragrance, but too woody and balsamic for my taste; I much preferred Luxor Oud, which is sweeter and less heavy.

  • This is a Memo fragrance where the dry-down rules. The opening is potent and can be sharp for many; it didn’t hook me, smelling like burning plywood. But by the hour, it changes radically: the oud and tolu woods become pleasantly smoky, giving way to exquisite caramelised pepper and tonka. This part is undoubtedly the best, and as with all good things, it is worth the wait. It is a good fragrance, but too woody and balsamic for my taste; I much preferred Luxor Oud, which is sweeter and less heavy.

This is a perfume I need in my life. Watch out: the opening is unbearably foul, but the dry-down… that dry-down… is a rare aroma that stays calm yet feels incredibly sensual, almost sexual, with body heat. It is very balsamic, with a delicious vetiver, ginger, some pepper, and a rebellious oud that is sometimes strong and at other times captivating. I had a sample, and on hot days it was the best company; while others were grilling ducks, I felt amazing. It shines in the heat, with impressive longevity (over 12 hours), a trail of 1 metre at the start and for about 4 hours, then perceptible at around 30 cm. I recommend applying it in open spaces so as not to kill anyone or suffocate.

  • A real gem. The opening is potent but nothing extraordinary; for those who enjoy this type of scent, ha ha. To me, it smells more like amber, balsamic, and spiced, drying down to a very rich sweet incense.

  • Wow, this is a fantastic perfume with incredible evolution and development. At first, it strongly reminds me of Perris Monte Carlo’s Oud Imperial, featuring saffron, ginger, and pepper over a balsamic and resinous base. Then it balances beautifully, giving way to vetiver, tonka bean, and myrrh, with a surprising hint of cinnamon; it’s very similar to Rania J. Shams Oud’s Ambre Loup, but creamier and less animalic. In my opinion, this one does it better: it projects more, has a better trail, and lasts around nine hours on my skin, remaining easily perceptible for four hours. In summary, a very good perfume with a surprising evolution. It is elegant, mysterious, serious, and has a marked masculine tendency, ideal for special occasions, formal or semi-formal looks, in cool climates or evening events. Scent 9.5/10, Trail 8.5/10, Projection 8.5/10, Longevity 8.5/10.
