Do not buy it; it lasts the length of a single breath. If you are looking for something similar, go for Eros Energy; it lasts almost as long and smells identical when dry. Or, if you want an Aventus, choose the classic or the Absolu; the classic is the most charming.

Aventus Light: more sparkly, vibrant and refreshing, which is why it is light and fleeting. It should cost less and would be a resounding success.

  3. Aventus Cologne is straightforward: it is the original with the volume turned down to avoid being intrusive, cleaner, more citrusy and elegant, speaking clearly without shouting. It is neat, sober and usable outside of parties. It makes me want to repurchase it even though I have already moved on from the original. It perfects the original with more citrus, less smoke and a cleaner musk. It draws attention through beauty, not through a fuss, noticeable at a medium distance like background music. It generates more compliments than its older sibling. Excellent performance all year round; I wore it today at 6°C and it worked wonderfully. In summer, it will be a spectacle. 10/10.

Fabulous fragrance, but not worth the price. Listen, young people: class and elegance do not come from cologne, but from a sober and intelligent attitude. We all make silly mistakes from time to time, but we should do them with people who love us. If we are rude and conspicuous, even if we use the most expensive scents, we will never be elegant. If we are cautious and respectful, then we will be. This cologne is exquisite, but it does not deserve its price; I would prefer three or four designers or twenty Arab perfumes. I have spent €6,000 in four years and lost count; it is an addiction like drug addiction. It anguishes me to shop; I like everything but I am kept in a void searching for the next day’s satisfaction. This week I spent €700. I earn a lot, I am a lawyer and work from Monday to Sunday, but today I saw a family who could not afford an ice cream for their children and it broke my heart. I offered to pay for it, but it was an illusion; their happiness would last minutes and the precarity would return. I come from a difficult background, I worked from the age of nine as a ball boy, but now that I am solvent I feel a void. I do not need to spend; I need to help. I want to be a good person. I have never been bad, but I want to be better. It is strange, it is not depression, I just want to help. A hug, friends. Be good people; there is nothing sexier or more elegant than being so.

Fantastic scent, but honestly, not worth the price tag. Listen, young ones: don’t fall for the folly of throwing money away. Class and elegance don’t come from a cologne, but from a sober, intelligent, and measured attitude. Everyone indulges in little follies now and then, like getting a bit tipsy, but it should be with people who love and look after you. Perfumes don’t define anything; our conduct and actions do. If we are rude and flashy, even using the most expensive fragrances, we will never be elegant. But if we are cautious, respectful, and cordial, without being extravagant, then yes, we will be. This cologne is exquisite, but it doesn’t justify the cost; I’d prefer three or four good designer scents or twenty Arab ones for the same money. I’ve spent around 6,000 euros in four years, I think I lost count, and I haven’t even noted them all down. Previously, I used one or two colognes, Acqua di Gio Profumo all year round. When they discontinued it, I started buying six or eight a month, sometimes six a week. Designer and many Arab scents, I reached the conclusion that it’s an endless vice, an addiction like drug abuse. I no longer want to keep buying. It distresses me; I like them all, but they keep me in a void, seeking the satisfaction of the day that lasts only a day before the need to try something else returns. This week I spent 700 euros. I can afford it, I owe no one, I’m a lawyer working Monday to Sunday. But today I saw a family who couldn’t afford a slightly pricier ice cream for their children, and it broke my heart. I offered to pay for it to see them happy, but it was an illusion; those children would be happy for a few minutes, then the precariousness would return. Mind you, I come from the bottom; I worked from the age of nine as a ball boy at a tennis club, always working one of the two holiday months during my childhood. Now that I’m solvent, I feel a profound void. I don’t need to spend; I need to help. I want to be a good person. I’ve never been malicious, but I want to be a better human being. It’s strange, hard to understand. It’s not depression; I know I don’t want to die or cause trouble, just to help, to let them know there are rough types who are good and willing to help simply because they are alive. A hug, friends. Be good people above all else; there is nothing sexier or more elegant than being a good human being.

A delightful fragrance, reminiscent of the normal Aventus but with its own charm. I like this one more because it is more citrusy and less woody, without the smokiness of its sibling. A rich aroma, ideal for day or afternoon, not so much for night. From casual to semi-formal. Good longevity on skin for 7-8 hours, projects to 2 metres for the first 3 hours and then recedes to an arm, but always leaves bursts when moving.

Review after testing 2mL, 6 uses: a beautiful perfume with super clean and refreshing mandarin, a well-composed body and some great notes from the original Aventus. Its only drawback is that it does not feel groundbreaking. Ideal for summer holiday dinners or hot days; if you want to smell elegant, use it. I wore it after windsurfing, a shower and straight to dinner. Decent longevity; you will feel it for at least 6 hours; initially it projects moderately, then it stays close to the skin. Would I recommend it? It depends on what you are looking for and your situation. The price is the price; 50mL comes to €180, so think if it interests you.

It was a gift from my father, a very pleasant surprise. I imagine it is from the new batches with the silver cap and better quality than the plastic ones. There is nothing wrong with it, and if it was a gift, the surprise of everyone seeing the detail was incredible. On the first spray, my brother and uncles said it was a delight, a correct flanker that at an intermediate level resembles the Aventus a lot, but with a more marked and fresh citrus. The truth is, I loved it. I used it happily and it lasted more than 10 hours; I could even smell it at work after the whole day at the gym. It is very expensive; those who can afford it are lucky and it is truly a pleasure to wear. The bottle and cap are beautiful, the aroma is beautiful; generally, you cannot ask for more, only that it did not cost so much.

  9. Extremely rich aroma, one of the best fresh citrus scents for summer. The downside: price/performance. It lasts me barely 4 hours and by the third hour it is only close to the skin. The opening is great, but it is not worth the price; I prefer a dupe that offers a similar scent and although it performs little, it hurts less to reapply.

  10. Very rich in notes, but it does not perform well in cost/benefit for me. I tested it on my arm and after 2 hours I could only smell it if I brought my nose close. Considering its value, I would not buy it given what has been mentioned.

  11. A fresh masculine scent which, in my opinion, outshines the original Aventus. However, the price isn’t justified; there are fresher, equally quality options for less. The longevity is decent but requires reapplication during the day. Also, it no longer includes the metal cap, but a cheap plastic one, a detail that has disappointed me. I bought it on the official website. My advice: look at other options and don’t pay just for the brand.

  12. It’s a masculine, fresh scent that smells better than the original. I don’t think it’s worth the price, as it’s expensive and there are fresher options of equal quality for less. The longevity is correct but not enough; you have to reapply during the day. Moreover, it no longer comes with a metal cap but with a poor-quality plastic one, a detail I didn’t like at all. I bought it on the official website. My advice is to look at other options and not pay for the brand and fame.

Splendid perfume, certainly a 10/10. It is fresh, fruity, very masculine, and has good longevity. I love it more than the normal Aventus; it is elegant and versatile. A great success despite its high price.

I like it more than Aventus Primary. It is a bomb of musk and woods with the ‘Aventus’ touch, with slight citrus and fruity notes. I am a fan of the musk/woods combo; it conveys elegance and cleanliness. I accept that, although I like it, the price and performance make me prefer other bottles on the market. The quality is noticeable: a very pleasant mandarin opening that defines the pillars. As it dries, spices and something sweet appear. It is a relaxing aroma, without harshness, clean, soapy but neutral, very elegant. Ideal for sunny days, formal occasions, or the office. Is it worth the cost? For some yes, but for me the official price is disproportionate. It performs little on my skin and is not surprising. Still, I like it more than the original.

  15. Fresh, long-lasting, and of superior quality. It conveys joy and elegance. The pineapple is not on Fragrantica but is on the Creed website; it is very noticeable in the opening. The tandem with mandarin and spices is a party. The base notes suggest a sweet dry-down, but it maintains its freshness all the time. On my skin it lasts up to 8 hours and on the shirt until the wash. A marvel.

  16. CREED AVENTUS COLOGNE: What an exquisite thing. The most elegant lemon citrus in the world. It has the base of the father but very subtle and lasts more than 8 or 10 hours. A work of art.

Simply beautiful, masculine, and timeless. From the opening to the dry-down, it is exquisite. I am not an expert, so I will not guess the notes, but it is fruity, woody, citrusy, and spicy. The longer it goes on, the more woody it becomes. I detect a slight floral note in the base, nothing feminine, that makes it more seductive. Longevity is durable: up to 9 hours. Projection is moderate for the first 2-4 hours and becomes an intimate scent afterwards. If I stay still and then move, I leave a pleasant trail even after 6-9 hours. Personally, I prefer the Cologne to the Absolu. I tried the Absolu first, but I settled for the Cologne.

  18. I have never been an admirer of Aventus, but this is of great standard. The Cologne only partially takes up the original theme, removing blackcurrant, pineapple, and apple, resulting in being much fresher thanks to the mandarin, ginger, and pink pepper. The heart is more woody than the original. In general, it is a fruitier and spicier variation, spicy and fruity. At first it reminds one a lot of the progenitor, but in a very clean way, with a notable trail that people smell at 2 metres in the first hour. However, it quickly recedes to a comfortable, soft, silky, and soapy level, incredibly beautiful and transparent. There is similarity with the original, but the differences are large enough to not call it ‘Aventus light’, especially due to the slightly sweet tonka bean base that sometimes wins over the smokiness. The versatility convinces me; it is more wearable with high temperatures than the original. Longevity on my skin is about 6 hours. I think Creed risks the jump from the classic to the young, modern, and urban. We will try to find a bottle at a decent price.

  19. It has one of the best openings I have tried: like a slightly woody sweet orange. Then the woody notes take the lead without being heavy. The composition is not complex, but it has a quality that makes it almost perfect for me. Moderate performance for its high price.

  20. Having Hacivat, the normal Aventus already seems redundant to me and even inferior. The Aventus Cologne is much fresher and more versatile, with a delicious aroma, good longevity, and projection. Too expensive, but worth it.

  22. Okay, this fragrance is rich and a delightful scent, I do not deny it. But I cannot help but associate it with talcum powder; throughout the time it smelled to me of talcum powder. It smells rich and is easy to use, but I think it is an aroma too simple for the price it has.

Interestingly, Aventus Cologne performed much better than the original for me. Despite the name, it is an EDP, which confuses many. It smells fantastic at first, more citrusy and dry, but then it becomes generic and loses its punch. For what it is, if you have the budget, it’s acceptable, though it’s expensive and less consistent than its older sibling.

Today I’m sticking with this version of Aventus: it’s a variation of the original, but it works better on my skin. It has great longevity and performance, although the trail isn’t exaggerated. It’s a more citrusy Aventus but with all the DNA of the mother fragrance. A great perfume, I recommend it even above its older sibling.

I’m sticking with this version of Aventus today. It’s a variation, but it works better on my skin. It has great longevity and moderate sillage. It’s a more citrusy Aventus but retains all the original DNA. A fantastic fragrance; I recommend it even above the original.

This is a fresher version of the original Aventus, although opinions vary. The Cologne is made for inexperienced noses; you’ll like it at first, but then you’ll see the original is more interesting. Both are excellent and pricey; don’t listen to anyone saying one is bad, both are good! Longevity is similar to the original. It smells like a mix of Aventus, Chanel Allure Sport, and Tom Ford Grey Vetiver. It’s more conventional, as expected.

I happened to get this, my first Creed. After reading hundreds of comments on Aventus, I had high hopes. To my taste, this cologne is more attractive because it’s citrusy. Upon application, a prominent, natural mandarin blends with spicy ginger, creating an orange scent. After five minutes, the classic Aventus DNA with birch and musk emerges, but here the pineapple is replaced by mandarin. It stays linear but becomes soapy towards the end. Projection is soft at first with nine hours of very skin-close longevity, though it lasts longer on clothes. What surprised me most is that it lacks the quality and naturalness Creed claims; it seems comparable to Zara Vibrant Leather, with an extraordinary similarity and less alcohol upon spraying. It’s also not novel; the mandarin is the same as in D&G Light Blue; it could be a mix between Versace Pour Home and Zara. It smells good, but test it before buying, don’t fall for the hype, because there are options that surpass it. Opinion based on batch: C9719N01.

I loved it! It doesn’t resemble the classic Aventus much; it has a very pleasant powdery note. It seems more elegant, fresh, and versatile, something like Versace Pour Homme. A exquisite aroma!

  29. My girlfriend gifted me the Aventus Cologne for my birthday, convinced by the boutique that it was an improved version. It was a rip-off. There’s nothing worse than spending a fortune on something that doesn’t work. It’s a weak perfume; with six sprays, after an hour neither I nor anyone else noticed it. It’s a diluted Aventus, without personality or strength. The only thing it retains is its exorbitant price.
