What a wonderful surprise from the brand; in my opinion, the best in the entire range. Everyone talks about Raw Gold, but this house offers much more; the quality is top-notch and the evolution of their fragrances justifies the price. In Grand Beau, the juniper berries take centre stage, intense and present from the very first second. It’s like a walk through a pine forest, super green, blended with ambroxan that makes it versatile, modern and very current, far from a classic fougère. That fresh green note gives way to precious twists of vetiver and angelica; it’s a journey through the most vivid, energising and comforting nature. I absolutely loved it, quite more than its sibling Raw Gold. I’d recommend it even blindly if you catch a good deal, although sadly this brand lacks them. A perfume for all seasons, with good longevity and projection, very masculine. A very good launch for juniper lovers.
