The top notes reveal a bold combination of liqueur, plum, coffee, vetiver and black pepper. The heart of the fragrance unfolds textures of suede, leather and lipstick. Finally, the base notes settle with opoponax, aloeswood, patchouli, tonka bean and saffron.

It smells terrible and is overwhelmingly intense. It’s like a very old cognac torrone that starts with the scent of dry urine on expensive leather, a cocktail of ambition for an old, dusty luxury that will clog your nostrils. The heat flees in terror from this baroque broth. If your temples can bear it, use it only once, in Siberia, so it doesn’t bother your olfactory senses, and even in the harshest winter, it could be too much. At least it was a sample and not a blind buy.
Bought it blindly on the recommendation of a friend who is the authority on perfumes and has a huge following online; he was right: it is a masterpiece. The opening is tricky and hard to take at first, but once it dries down, it smells incredible. It projects strongly and lasts for ages. A work of art in a bottle.
