I bought it to gift to a friend for their birthday. He wore it the same day and a woman said it smelled like a cat, hahaha, I died of embarrassment… it’s a spicy, patchouli and leather scent for informal use… my friend wears it to work in the afternoons and it still smells strong into the night 🙂

A very distinctive aroma. As a collector, I want it. I liked it. Zeke is right, and Wilmito is partly right too, although that ‘cat-like’ touch might be the blend of pepper with amber notes, I’m not sure. It reminded me at times of Costume National Homme.
Definitely, much later on, I realised it’s a delightful fragrance. If you’ve tried spiced rums like Captain Morgan or Kraken, its scent is very similar to that treat. It’s 8 AM here in Mexico and I applied it yesterday at 9 PM; it’s now 11 hours later and I can still detect it, especially those delicious spicy notes. Highly recommended, it will make you noticed. It smells elegant yet informal at the same time; that mix will never leave you looking out of place.
Personally, I tried it in a store and loved it; I bought it two months ago and still have it, but it doesn’t smell on me as I’d like. Could I have bought a pirate version, or is my skin just not retaining it? I can’t think of any other explanation. Does this happen to others too? NOTE: my pH is neutral and all my perfumes have good longevity. Best wishes.

The dry-down is a 10; it lasts over 10 hours with a luxurious trail that women absolutely adore. 100% recommended.
Guess by Marciano. Clean, safe, fresh, sweet. The best part is the dry down; with every hour I feel the scent changes, as if you were using a different perfume. Excellent for work or even better, for a meeting or interview, it conveys security and neatness without being pretentious. It is versatile, good fixation and moderate trail. The bottle is the most beautiful I have seen and the price is a real joke.
It is a fragrance that dares to be in the ‘cost-benefit’ group, long-lasting, projects personality, it’s not cloying, it’s subtle. As it dries I perceive a sweet scent similar to very light honey. Longevity on average about 6-7 hours (on my skin). Recommended if you are looking for a cheap perfume, good scent and performance. Age +30 I think.
How to start reviewing Marciano by Guess? I don’t want to sound careless with this curious fragrance. The opening is interesting because it recalls a woody fragrance with a little orange, almost like freshly cleaned fine rustic wooden furniture with sweet orange spray. In the heart notes, something akin to… medicine is noticeable, I don’t know, like orange mouthwash with lots of spices, especially pepper and cloves. Then in the dry-down it smells of wood and sober musk, very serious, very formal, it doesn’t smell bad, but… it’s so correct, so solemn, that it would be the perfect fragrance for a funeral.

In the heart, there is a sensation like medicine, type oral anaesthetic with orange and spices, especially pepper and clove. Then as it dries, a sober woody-musky scent is appreciated, very serious and formal; it doesn’t smell bad, but… it’s so correct and solemn that it would be the perfect perfume for a funeral.
I am a perfume seller and I am using this; tonight I decided to try it and it turns out quite good in terms of cost-benefit. I assimilated it well and give it the thumbs up. I cannot talk about the ingredients as the professionals on the page do, whom I admire all for their argumentative ability. For me it is an honour to follow this page and all its participants.
I bought it today… leather… fresh… that was my first impression… but it smells sweet and warm at the same time… the girl who served me offered it to me and said they had given it to her and it smelled delicious… so I swapped a Carven vetiver (which I was about to buy and had in my hand) for this Guess… and well, the saleswoman was right, I liked its scent.

I think it’s a soft and fresh scent, but a bit poor in longevity, at least on my skin. It’s a blend of fruity and spicy notes with an elegant touch. It goes very well for everyday wear or after the gym, as it leaves you fresh and neat. Its longevity ranges between 2 and 3 hours and the trail is soft-moderate. The bottle is simple but striking and highlights the frozen tonic note, which is rare. Good value for money.
Sorry JERRY DRAKE, where did you see that this fragrance has the ‘frozen tonic’ note? The truth is I’ve never heard of it. And here on the page they don’t mention it either. If it exists, I share with you that it’s quite unusual…

My dad owns this, and the first thing I smell is dulce de leche, those caramel-coloured ones with a nut on top. Then comes the leather and amber, but without losing that sweetness. This smells of parsley and orange blossom. It’s fresh and summery but doesn’t last at all, at most an hour. I bought it for $12 and literally bathe in it (15 sprays to make it last half an hour longer).

Bought it out of curiosity and it became one of my all-time favourites. It lasts on me from at least 6:30 am until the afternoon. On clothes and the neck, its final sweet woody notes prevail. This cheap men’s fragrance is an absolute must-have. I didn’t finish the first bottle and already had the new one saved. For the price, it’s impressive; its stages are exquisite and you will always smell like a man. At night for going out, it’s strong at the start, but I prefer sweet and citrusy fragrances in the evening as they attract so much attention. I’ve kept clothes in the wardrobe for going out, and when I wear them again, the final delicious sweet note lingers. Edit: it’s a fragrance of compliments and without a doubt one of my best. Soon I’ll have to buy another bottle as I love it. Its trail is slightly more than moderate but doesn’t offend. It doesn’t last long on skin, but if you apply it for a date, do so well in advance to avoid overwhelming. On clothes, it does a beastly job for 6-7 hours in 34°-36°C heat. Its opening is strong and not for those who prefer a sweet start. Perfect for young people wanting to shine with power and for those over 30 to smell of hierarchy.

It was one of my first affordable perfumes and I loved it from the start; I’ve already used three bottles and gifted one to my father, who adores it. Although it has a vintage touch, that blend of wood, spices and leather is incredible, like a brand-new mahogany cabinet with leather goods inside. Barely sweet, very masculine and very different from what smells popular today. For me, alongside Pour Lui by Oscar de la Renta, Quorum Silver and Halston Z14, it is a genuine bargain jewel.
