  • A very good fragrance to use in winter, as in summer it would be very heavy and would end up tiring. The scent is strong, but I like this type of fragrance, so I have no problem with it. And as I have read on other sites, they say it has been discontinued.

  • Ideal for winter; it’s too heavy and tiring in the summer. The scent is strong, but I love these perfumes, so it doesn’t bother me. From what I’ve read, they say it has already been discontinued.

  • Oh my goodness, not in summer! This is too much! Patchouli on arrival, then more patchouli, then even more. There are some nuances, but it’s patchouli from start to finish. I tested a sample this morning and I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed. I’ve been smelling the boldest, sexiest patchouli of my life for hours. I don’t think I’m going to be sick… If you smell it, you know exactly where you’re going. I recommend trying it; it has something from another era that is genuinely addictive.

  • By God, not in summer… This fragrance is too much! Patchouli at first, then more patchouli, and then even more. So with some nuances, but patchouli to the max from start to finish. I put on a sample I found this morning and I am completely dizzy; I have been smelling the most brazen and sexualised patchouli of my life for hours. And I don’t think I am overdoing it… If you smell it, you know where you are going. I recommend trying it. It has something of another era and it is addictive.

  • At ten years old, I walked hand in hand with my mother on my first trip to Seville, discovering the South, like Estrella when she goes to see her grandmother, Tata Milagros, and her deceased father’s secret, in the second part never filmed of “The South” by Víctor Erice. My eyes opened wide in that world of white and ochre yellow, of smiling faces and altars with praying virgins, of the scent of orange blossom and swaying palms over the Guadalquivir, where Antonio Torres Heredia “cut round lemons and threw them into the water until he turned it gold.” MAN by VICTORIO & LUCCHINO is a balanced fragrance: in its notes, its evolution, its atmosphere, and its conception. I would place it in the Aromatic Woody family. It greets with a flourish of faralaes based on citrus and carnations, like a Andalusian flirtation, spreading its aroma with the flutter of a fan that reminds us of the patio of the Casa Natal de Velázquez in Seville, where V&L had their signature. It is a cheerful, sparkling opening, with the grace of a horse at the Real de la Feria and a carriage laden with carnations, jasmine, and gypsies. The flower of the orange tree enchants the air of Seville, in the Santa Cruz district, in the Patio de los Naranjos, and in the Reales Alcázares. Beauty upon beauty! A beautiful dry-down woody aroma, resulting from the root of iris, patchouli, sandalwood, and benzoin, heirs of the Umayyad, Abbadid, and Almoravid traditions. I would have named this perfume “SEVILLE” and contained it in a frosted white and ochre yellow flask, adorned it with flowers, garlands, and reliquaries, and sung a thousand verses until it turned gold.

  • “Man” is a lovely cologne, and what is a pity is what these designers now sell under their name; those “perfumed waters” from drugstores that smell like tap water with a few drops of perfume, aimed at a public that dissolves into the grey. The first V&L launch for men has nothing to do with the current one. It is a woody fragrance that starts citrusy, fruity, and liquorish before becoming a fine, delicate yet present aroma. Earthy patchouli, sweet notes, and above all cedar, all very balanced and well-composed, with incense nuances. It is complex and gentle, projects moderately, and has correct longevity. It serves equally well for day or night in formal situations. It dresses and wraps very well; despite its robustness, it is not heavy or invasive, but rather quite pleasant. Its carefully crafted presentation deserves special mention, with a beautiful flask-cante in a box decorated with great taste. It follows the path of things like Gucci pour Homme, Quorum Silver, or Ricci Memoir d’Homme, those sophisticated and elegant woody fragrances that never tire you. It is an essential acquisition if you can find it in any perfumerie.

  • Good afternoon, I have been searching for months for the Victorio & Lucchino Man, either online or in perfumeries. If anyone knows where to get it, I would be very grateful, as I have been using it since 2009. Many thanks.

It pleasantly surprises with its balance, class, and great aroma without pretension. Very sensual and a delight for the nose; that floral-sweet sensation catches you without you realising. It combines the wisdom of Spanish fragrances with the best of modern European style. It is a versatile travel companion with performance for any adventure, a beautiful proposal among Bofifa’s treasures.

  • It smells like playdough and I never know when to use it. I have it 95% used and am selling or swapping it.

  • An overwhelming scent of incense, patchouli, wood, flower, and honey; sweet but cloying. I would only wear it on cold nights in a suit for some event, but for that there are more interesting options.

  • This is the best fragrance I have ever owned. Since they stopped making it, I’ve been looking for something similar without success. It is very masculine, elegant, and better suited for winter. If anyone has it, I will buy it from them.

  • I bought it hoping it would make me look like Miguel Ángel Silvestre from the advert, but it was a complete fiasco. As soon as I applied it, I noticed only a woody, elegant scent with a heavy patchouli note; it’s very long-lasting and costs less than twenty euros. As for resembling Miguel Ángel, I still don’t, but smelling like him is certainly an improvement.

  • I bought it hoping to smell like Miguel Ángel Silvestre from the advert, but the result is a woody, elegant fragrance with a potent patchouli note that lasts a long time for under £20. I still don’t resemble him, but smelling like him is already an improvement.
