This Or noir is a fragrance that barely evolves, lingering on the skin and only fading in intensity over time. It’s a spicy musk, but without fear: neither the spices are harsh nor the musk overwhelming; everything is perfectly balanced. The citrus notes form a subtle base, very rounded like the perfume itself, just as the sandalwood helps to soften it. The spice blend is sublime, with no single note standing out, all beautifully integrated. The musk creates that ‘white bubble’ that holds everything in without letting anything escape, rounding off the fragrance without being sweet or cloying, and taming the sharpness of the cardamom and citrus. Good longevity, around 8-9 hours, with strong projection for the first hour before that bubble lasts until the end. Perfect for unisex wear and cold or fresh seasons, though I haven’t tried it in summer yet. Very pleasant and loved by those close to me. As my first perfume from this house, I absolutely adore it.
