  Sometimes all the ingredients in a perfume compete, but on warm skin they sort themselves out. This is the case with ROSE IN THE SHADOW by @savoursweden from @lindalandenberg: I knew I’d like it for the roses, but I didn’t imagine I’d be so moved. At first, a fresh, sharp red rose, the kind that captivates on a first date, accompanied by fresh blueberries and raspberries with their sugary acidity. Then, a creamy yet slightly rough magnolia blends with coriander seeds and almost soapy tones. Later, a softer, powdery rose shines with aquatic freshness and green notes that turn earthy with patchouli, creating a scent of a rain-soaked garden, damp earth, and rose leaves. Finally, warm cedar joins with incense, caressing each petal, while laurel appears alongside clean musk notes, sealing this natural gem.
