  At first, it’s an explosion of all the notes, but within a couple of minutes it becomes very powdery. Heliotrope stands out, soft and elegant, followed by rose and then violet. That’s when I notice the aldehydes, that soapy, clean note which is its signature. Then come elegant woods, plenty of them but without overdoing it; cedar predominates. Enjoy a wonderful tonka bean afterwards that adds sweetness and reinforces that powdery touch. Cocoa, vanilla and musk finish the feast. It’s the second creation from Sonoma Scent Studio and both have fascinated me: classic style, minimalist, clean and chic. They are very persistent on the skin with a moderate trail that envelops your personal space. Although To Dream opens very florally, the woods are the queens, with tonka bean, vanilla and cocoa in the background and the flowers at the back, all perceptible. The quality of the notes is marvellous, a sublime and outrageously elegant fragrance. I WANT IT.
