  • Out of all the Armaf perfumes I’ve tried, this has the lowest performance, although it’s good. I absolutely loved it. It’s potent, with a spicy and citrusy opening (sweet, not fresh), very spicy. The citrus notes pass quickly, giving way to sweet fruits with spices, with pineapple standing out over apple, all over a nearly imperceptible floral base. The dry-down is exquisite: amber, tonka vanilla and cedar… masculine, seductive and elegant. The only drawback is the longevity: it lasts about 6 hours, projects well for the first two, then at arm’s length, and the last hour up close. For the price, you can’t ask for more; other brands from famous houses triple the price and perform the same. Excellent value for money. Ideal for cold or mild climates, day or night, and even in summer if it’s not too hot.

Thanks to Darkbeat, I tried another Arab house and they continue to surprise me with their quality and scents. It’s elegant, reminiscent of Montblanc Legend but with better longevity. The pineapple and apple in Derby Club House Gold are top-notch, a clean and pleasant smell. Very versatile, perfect for day and night.

  • Brutal fragrance: the smoked apple and pineapple are a hit. Clean and linear, but uffff, so rich.

  • This review is for a 2017 bottle, batch 232200. I loved it instantly: a very soft spicy opening with a fresh lemon that wakes you up. Once it dries down, the pineapple combined with apple is delicious, with a light cedar that lingers up close at the end. I’ve used it several times (6-8 sprays) and the performance is brutal: in the office or cool, enclosed spaces, it easily lasts 8 to 10 hours. The first three hours project well, with a sillage of about two metres that has made people compliment me. Then the sillage drops until the fifth or sixth hour, when it stays up close, but I can still detect it until ten o’clock. Clothes hold it for 14 to 16 hours. In open, hot places, projection drops to about two hours, then the sillage fades and I only notice it for another hour or two, a total of 5 to 6 hours. I recommend it blindly for the scent, quality, longevity, and price; I have more expensive perfumes that don’t last as long. Ideal for mild spring or autumn climates. Without a doubt, a good purchase and I always get compliments when I wear it.

  • This 2017 fragrance (batch 232200) was an instant hit: a soft spicy opening with fresh lemon, drying down to a lovely pineapple and apple blend. The cedar is light and sits close to the skin in the final hours. With 6-8 sprays, it performs brilliantly in cool interiors: 8-10 hours longevity, with moderate projection (one arm’s length) for the first three hours, then settling to a skin scent that remains perceptible until the 10-hour mark. Clothes retain the scent for 14-16 hours. In hot outdoors, it drops to just 5-6 hours total. I recommend it blindly for its aroma, quality, longevity, and price; it outperforms more expensive perfumes in my collection. Ideal for temperate climates (spring/autumn). A safe purchase that always earns compliments.

  • It is an improved version of Montblanc Legend with better longevity and sillage. More potent and fruity, yet it retains the same elegant and formal vibe, perfect for the office or when you can’t decide what to wear. It has gel or cream-like touches with sweet fruits and spices, balanced so as not to be cloying. It lasts almost a day on the skin (close to the skin at 12 hours, faintly detectable the next day). The projection isn’t monstrous: about two hours of moderate projection and six hours at a short distance. It is timeless, perhaps a bit warm for heavy heat, but elegant for formal settings. Not ideal for clubs, but suitable for night outs or strolls. For ages 24-50, very versatile. I give it 7.5/10 for its value for money. Another Armaf hit: if you like Legend, buy it without hesitation.

  • An improved version of Montblanc Legend: more potent, fruitier, with better sillage and longevity than the original. It looks and feels elegant and formal, ideal for the office or when you don’t know what to wear. There are moments when it smells incredibly clean and addictive, alternating between gel, cream, fruits, and sweet spices without becoming cloying; it’s very well balanced between powdery and sweet. On my skin, it lasts almost all day, noticeable up close until noon and barely detectable from a distance the next day. It’s not a projection monster, but for the price, it’s luxurious: about two hours of moderate projection, then six more hours at a short distance if you apply it to the neck. It’s timeless, perhaps a bit warm for intense heat, but elegant for formal and semi-formal settings. It works great for going out for a drink or a walk, though there are better options for clubs. I recommend it for ages 24 to 50. I give it 7.5: impeccable value for money. Another hit from Armaf; if you like Legend, buy it without hesitation.

  • This is the second time I’ve gone blind-buying with Armaf, and it hasn’t gone well. I’ve bought another Tag-Him for its ridiculous price, hoping this time it’ll open the door to Club de Nuit. It smells like Legend by Montblanc, but with a sweet touch that strips away the original charm and is literally unbearable at first. The good news is that once it dries down, it calms down and stops being so revolting. The truth is, it lasts forever and projects well – a pity such a rancid-smelling fragrance has these virtues. Armaf needs to find a fragrance that truly deserves it, although I know they can make things well.

  • My second blind buy from Armaf has been another disappointment. I expected more from Tag Him; I bought it for the low price and wanted to believe in the brand to reach Club de Nuit. If it is far from Montblanc Legend, that is true, but it leans towards a very sweet note that distances itself from the original; at first it is unbearable, although it calms down as it dries and stops being so vomit-inducing. The truth is it lasts a long time and has good projection, a pity that such a stale scent possesses these qualities. It seems Armaf knows how to do things well, they just need to find a scent worth the effort.

  • Polydistortion

Probably the cheapest perfume in my collection, but certainly not my least favourite – a real gem of a bottle and scent.

  • I bought this in March 2023 for 15 euros on Notino; nowadays it is only available on eBay. I agree it reminds me a lot of Montblanc, but with more projection and longevity. Although it is linear and lacks much evolution, I love it: an elegant and formal aroma, like being well-dressed. Unlike other fresh or youthful scents, this feels more mature, ideal for those over 30, and offers good quality despite its low price. Aroma: 7/10, Sillage: 5/10, Longevity: 8/10.

  • Snagged this in March 2023 for €15 on Notino; can only find it on eBay now. I agree with those who say it smells like Montblanc – it’s very similar but has better projection and longevity. Although it’s quite linear and doesn’t evolve much, I absolutely love it. It’s an elegant, formal scent, perfect for dressing up; just as there are informal or fresh fragrances, this one is a bit more mature, ideal for over 30s. It feels high quality despite the price and performs well. Scent: 7/10 Sillage: 5/10 Longevity: 8/10
