  1. Armaf One Edition smells almost identical to Abercrombie’s Fierce, but with a more pronounced citrus opening at first, like an exotic Asian kumquat: refreshing, sweet, and sparkling. It then dries down into a clear inspiration of Fierce, giving you that sense of cleanliness and freshness. Performance is moderate: neither a beast nor a sissy; on skin it lasts about six hours and projects well for the first two hours, but on clothes it lasts three times longer, even days later on a shirt. I recommend it if you like Fierce but think paying the price is too steep; it cost me 300 Mexican pesos, less than $15, and was a pleasant surprise as I bought it blind without knowing if it resembled the original. In fact, I’ve received more compliments with this than with my Gisada Ambassador or my Empyr from LV. Tastes vary, but most people like it, and if not, they at least don’t dislike it. A good perfume, this Edition One from Armaf.

  2. Armaf One Edition smells almost identical to Abercrombie’s Fierce, but with a more pronounced citrus opening, reminiscent of an exotic Southeast Asian kumquat—sweet, refreshing, and sparkling. It then dries down into a clear homage to Fierce, delivering that clean, fresh sensation. Performance is moderate: neither a beast nor a sissy; it lasts around six hours on skin and projects well for the first two hours without needing to be right up against you. On clothes, it lasts three times longer; I sprayed it on my shirt and could still smell it days later. I’d recommend it if you like Fierce but don’t want to pay the high price; it cost me 300 Mexican pesos, less than $15, and was a blind buy that turned into a pleasant surprise. In fact, I’ve received more compliments with this than with my Gisada Ambassador or my beloved LV Empyr. Tastes vary, but most people enjoy it, and no one seems to dislike it. A good perfume, this Edition One from Armaf.

  3. A flat proposition: a very generic citrus opening over a decent quality woody base, and nothing more. I cannot judge the brand based on this insipid and soulless fragrance, but it is among the most disappointing I have tried. The bottle is pretentious and poorly made. In short, there are at least 25 better fragrances available.
