2017 bottle, batch 227274. Armaf keeps getting me. DCHA opens with potent tobacco and a very particular aged lemon, slightly sweet and cloying, perhaps due to the amber. I don’t detect the green notes; it’s a pure tobacco bomb at first. Projects well for about 2-3 hours with a heavy trail that drops to moderate. From 3 to 6 hours, it smells of comforting wood and a bit of tobacco at arm’s length. From 7 to 9 hours, it’s just skin scent. It lasts all day or more on clothes. It’s strong and stands out, ideal for men over 35, bosses, bearded men with a frown on their face. Better in the cold, because with freezing wind it changes character and becomes wonderful. Smells like an antique shop with exotic furniture and an owner smoking a pipe, very vintage. I loved it, but I won’t use it much in spring; in winter it will be my workhorse. Good price.
Smells about 80% like Amouage Epic Man. The opening is green, with spices, tobacco, and maximum bergamota alongside a resinous, smoky cedar. It’s for going out at night when you’ve got everything sorted and are ready to conquer whoever is flirting with you. A proper alpha male scent, nothing for kids.

It’s a cracking perfume. It projects strongly, lasts all night, and people can’t stop asking me what I’m wearing.
