  My mother gifted me this after a trip to Florence, the home of this brand. Beyond the scent itself, what I adore most is its evocative power, which here is immense. To me, it feels like standing beneath the shelter of a massive fig tree heavy with fruit, stepping away from the mid-July sun. It’s intensely green and fresh, with that dry, rough edge of newly unfurled leaves, as shadowy as they are, yet never losing the fruity, slightly sweet hint of the pulp—like a summer afternoon at its peak. The base returns to that pure fig darkness. It lasts forever on the skin; occasionally, waves of scent roll over, leaving a wide trail. It’s a shame it’s only available online in Spain since the shop is in Florence, but I’ll definitely repurchase when I run out.

  Performance and scent are both ten out of ten. If you’re after a clean, crisp fragrance with an air of extreme neatness, this is it. What really stands out is an incredibly potent fig note from excellent raw materials—utterly natural, not synthetic or harsh—paired with very subtle green herbal touches and a rich soap accord with just the right touch of minimalism. Value for money: 10/10.
