Delicious, opulent and elegant; Alexandria achieves what few do in their inspirations. High-quality fragrances at an affordable price; I don’t know how they do it, but they give us approximations of top niche. I had decants of both Xerjoff XJ 1861 Naxos and this one, and the similarity in the dry-down is phenomenal, so for the price, I’ll go with this without fear of spending a fortune. There is always noticeable tobacco, jasmine and lavender that accentuate greatly, along with cinnamon (not so prominent) giving way to vanilla and tonka bean to round it off. Honestly, I don’t detect much honey. The citrus opening disappears quickly, around five minutes. The longevity is moderate, 6 to 7 hours on the skin; the 1861 doesn’t last longer on my skin either. It’s for an evening setting, which is why it doesn’t perform more. Scent: 8 (similar to other designer and niche fragrances), Longevity: 8 (Alexandria stands out here), Projection: 7, Versatility: 7, Feminine Olfactory Perception: 9. Total: 7.8/10.
Very similar to Xerjoff’s NaXos. In my case, NaXos has a stronger trail, but I’d say this is 90% NaXos. I highly recommend it if you don’t want to spend what the original costs. I own both, and it seems to me to be an excellent dupe of my beloved NaXos 💓.
If you like Naxos but can’t or don’t want to splash out on the exorbitant price of Xerjoff, believe me: this was born apart, but compared side by side, they are remarkably accurate. Perhaps Naxos still wins on quality, but if you don’t make that direct comparison, no human being can tell the difference. What a job Alexandria did; I recommend it 100%.
An elegant and exquisite fragrance that makes you stand out. Top-tier quality at an economical price. Very sweet, with a distinct tobacco note present throughout. The opening is brutal, but the dry-down is my favourite part. Totally unisex; my girlfriend adores it and steals my perfume whenever she can, haha. On my skin, it lasts over 12 hours and projects to more than two metres for 3-4 hours. Ideal for the evening, though it works brilliantly on cold days too. I haven’t tried Naxos, but if you’re looking for an excellent perfume at a good price, look no further. I bought it blind and have no regrets whatsoever. For me, it’s a 20/10; I recommend it with total certainty.
