  I bought the discovery set as a gift, and over time, I’ve confirmed it was a waste; I doubt I’ll buy the full bottle. In this world of bubbles (niche included), let everyone enjoy their own projects. Almost all of this Italian-French brand’s scents, at least in the set, have a camphorated, candy-like, artificial opening, like dusty crystals, except Church Bells, which is the most dignified. The rest isn’t worth it, especially at 160 euros per bottle when they position them more expensively than Diptyque, which are almost all perfumes with good longevity. I’m going with Lazy Sunday: it aims to evoke that luminous, relaxed awakening at home, which happens only halfway once it dries on the skin, becoming powdery and elegant. It has a soapy touch; the wood isn’t the spicy kind from Hermès or Cartier, but rather that of an old furniture piece scented by time and abandoned cosmetic objects. It’s not bad, but it’s not worth it by any stretch. I see it as heavier and more opaque than pure light and relaxation, despite a slight animalic musk note at the end, sometimes almond-like but very weak. The synesthesia gives me translucent brown and terracotta fabrics, a bit like ‘auntie’s perfume in the 90s’ at an important ceremony, your cousin’s first communion in 1995.
