  Amberwood is a decent woody scent that fits neatly into the classic Timberol and Cashmeran combination. It opens with a musky, green note but dries down to pure, elegant wood. The issue is that it smells too familiar and unsurprising, like a blend of things we already know. They claim it contains over 150 ingredients, yet given how flat and unnuanced the result is, it seems the rice pudding recipe has more complexity. And watch out for the price: it’s madness just for being a niche brand. It doesn’t justify the cost at all with such basic raw materials. It’s not bad, but it’s entirely dispensable. Cheers.

  From the very first moment, the vanilla takes charge and holds its ground until the very end. The amber base adds a floral touch, though I can’t detect any tobacco or woody notes. It’s a very good fragrance, but the price is simply outrageous; there are surely similar options with a far better quality-to-price ratio.
