I don’t know Angel’s Share, but in this style, Golden Elixir is my favourite. On my skin, it has spectacular performance and incredible chemistry. It’s an Arabic dessert: a sweet, cinnamon-forward, fresh, and spiced opening thanks to the cardamom, which gives way to fruity and sweet notes. On my skin, I don’t detect any woodiness; cinnamon wrapped in resins, vanilla, and tonka bean dominates. It’s not suitable for olfactory diabetics, though I’m not much of a gourmand myself, this seems spectacular to me. Totally unisex, medium projection, and brutal longevity of over 8 hours on skin.
Short summary: It’s like Lattafa’s Khamrah but more refined, gourmand, and with better projection. If you’re looking for an Angel’s Share dupe by Kyllian, avoid both as they are sweeter and less woody; Cocktail Intense by Fragrance World is the perfect dupe with those nuances. If you crave gourmand, Beast Mode will blow your mind with vanilla and cinnamon. In my opinion, Riifs is better than Lattafa’s Khamrah. I prefer it to Angel’s Share; it’s unisex but suits a woman better, so I gifted it to my wife. Lasts 10 hours on skin, projects to 1.30m for 1.40 hours before fading gradually. The packaging is exquisite.
Riifs’ Golden Elixir perfectly balances spice and sweetness. Notes of cardamom, cinnamon and nutmeg evolve into dry woods and plum. The base of vanilla, musk and oud adds a warm, cosy and sophisticated touch. Ideal for day and night, with impressive longevity and a lasting trail. An excellent option for those who love modern oriental fragrances.
I’ve had this for months and absolutely loved it. Inspired by Angel Share but with its own twists: warm, spiced and sweet. It isn’t as alcoholic as other clones and the quality is evident from the first spray, with a slightly powdery dry-down. If you’re looking for something enjoyable and easy to wear, this is a solid choice.
There are better options out there. I used to drink this straight; it was my favourite and exquisite, but with Riifs’ new launches like Khamrah Qahwa and Golden Elixir, it has faded into insignificance. It’s not bad and holds emotional value, yet there are superior choices such as Khamrah Qahwa or Lattafa’s Zikra.
There are better options. I used to drink it down in gulps; it was my favourite and exquisite, but with the new Khamrah Qahwa and Golden Elixir launches from Riifs, this one has fallen into obscurity. It’s not bad and holds emotional value, but there are others that are superior, such as Khamrah Qahwa or Zikra by Lattafa.
