Amidst the saturation of Elixirs and Absolutes, this breaks the mould without trying to imitate anyone. It’s a gourmand that promises a high-quality, transcendent olfactory experience. The strawberry opening captivates me; while many smell strawberry, to me it smells like maraschino cherry, a fascinating scent that gradually blends with a sweet vanilla biscuit aroma, all with great creaminess. Although it seems innocent, I understand the complexity behind it: recreating edible notes at 100% is difficult, and if it’s not perfect, it makes no sense. If you’re looking for something sweet, like a pastry, that gives you that cosy feeling, this is your option.
