A warm and cosy fragrance, bought these Christmas holidays for the notes and it was a total success. I was looking for something coffee-based for relaxing moments at home, watching TV or reading, and this delivers. The coffee is there all the time but doesn’t suffocate; you can note the creamy vanilla and hints of toasted biscuit. The amaretto liquor is in the background, perceptible but not dominant. In summary, comforting and commendable longevity; I can feel it all day. Moderate projection. Today, on the eve of Epiphany, I had an afogato at an Italian restaurant and it reminded me totally and absolutely of this aroma. Despite its detractors, for me it’s a delightful acquisition.
Honestly: at the start the coffee takes the lead, then brown sugar wins. Decent longevity and projection. It’s enjoyable, but between this and Khamra Qahwa, I’d stick with the other, which smells almost the same.
I’ve been disappointed (for the worse) by this Mancera’s performance. I expected overwhelming trail and longevity like other fragrances from the house, and nothing. It stays stuck to the skin, little projection, and from the fourth hour onwards it’s not noticeable; you have to reapply. It’s a pity because the scent is a marvel: it’s not cloying, it smells like ice cream, toasted sugar and the last sip of coffee, with a touch of licorice that I love. A top gourmand, but I wish it projected and lasted more.
For me, it’s the coffee version of Bianco Latte. Very gourmand.
It’s super sweet. The first thing you notice is the coffee, nothing strong, and immediately comes the vanilla, like a tiramisu but without being weighed down by the coffee; it’s very delicious.
I’ve written this review because on my skin this perfume behaves differently from what others say. In Amore Caffè, three things dominate: the alcohol of the amaretto, the roasted coffee (both invade the heart notes) and the sweetness of caramelised sugar. For me, the ice cream and vanilla heart notes are very weak, almost imperceptible if you don’t pay attention. Although they don’t say it, there are slight fruity notes of apricot, lemon, orange, fig and cherry. Also some aromatic herbs like thyme and rosemary. In addition to the almond note, there are hazelnuts, walnuts and warm spices such as star anise, pink pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon and saffron. For me, it’s more of a spiced amaretto with coffee, ideal after a good meal. As I needed something with alcoholic character in my collection, it’s a total success: it starts with a coffee punch and slowly softens from the second hour. In my case, it lasts about 7 or 8 hours and projects to about a metre and a half for the first two hours, then drops to about 20cm from the skin. It’s not a beast mode, but it tries to be. My recommendation: wear it for leisure moments, not for sport, clubbing or outdoors (barbecues, roasts, concerts). It will be very wearable for those who enjoy this type of aroma. I always recommend testing on skin before buying niche.
I’ve been wearing it for a month and it’s definitely worth writing about: it’s gorgeous, warm, and helps you romanticise life. I first wore it to meet my ex (who wasn’t my ex yet, F), and as I passed his house, his mum told me, ‘You’re the one who smells so good’—she could smell it from the patio, four metres away. That’s when I realised how beastly the projection is. The longevity is also incredible: I put it on at 3pm and could still smell it at noon the next day, and it’s not the only time; I always notice it until the following day, very present. It projects and lasts a madness, but it doesn’t bother anyone; it’s sweet but not aggressive, just wear it when the temperature is below 17°C. I’ve only received good comments. It’s dominated by coffee, vanilla and caramel, but together it highlights a dark, toasted and caramelised vanilla. At the start, for the first three minutes, the amaretto takes the lead. I would definitely buy it again because it suits my personality. It’s unisex, perfect for men or women. First long review, haha, but it deserves it. Mancera has nailed this launch 👏🏽.
What a sweet and embracing perfume. At first, I thought it would resemble the Ristretto Café Intense, but this is more gourmand, sweeter, with an exquisite vanilla amaretto note. It reminds me of mature bean coffee with liquor, so delicious. The best part: it lasts 8 hours on my skin without needing to macerate. It’s well worth it; I recommend it wholeheartedly. Beautiful. Of course, it’s more embracing and noticeable in colder months, but it’s addictive, believe me.
After a month, I can say it’s a gorgeous perfume that helps romanticise life, very warm and distinctive. I first wore it with my ex (who wasn’t my ex yet) and his mum told me she could smell it from the patio, four metres away with walls in between. I realised it’s a beast in projection and longevity: applied at 3pm, I could smell it at noon the next day, and it always happens. It projects and lasts a lot, but it doesn’t bother; it’s sweet but not challenging, ideal below 17°C. I’ve only received good comments. A coarse fragrance of coffee granita with lots of sugar. It is not comparable to the complexity and potency of Montale’s Intense Café. Not even can it be compared with The Only One. In the dry down, there is a certain wave that seems…
I had so many expectations with the name, the manufacturer, and the main note, but it wasn’t what I anticipated. It smells sweet, the ice cream is very prominent, and I agree with the comments below: it smells like a frappé with lots of sugar. I expected a more serious and mature coffee scent, retaining femininity.
Literally smells like tiramisu. At first, strong coffee, like a creamy cappuccino with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Gradually it blends with the amaretto and sugar. In the end, it leaves that aroma of a sugary cake with vanilla and a hint of diluted coffee. I find it cloying, but for those who enjoy gourmand scents, it could be a good option.
Unisex, right in the middle, neither feminine nor masculine. The coffee note combined with vanilla ice cream gives it the perfect touch to be truly unisex. I was sent a sample and loved it; I gave it to my girlfriend and she thought it was lovely too. I liked it so much I ended up buying it. The projection lasts between eight and ten hours, with the best performance in the first two, then it fades and becomes more intimate, but anyone standing next to you can still smell it.
Delicious, like a creamy and enveloping affogato. The ice cream cream is very noticeable and the coffee is a sweet cream. On skin it lasted over 8 hours and on clothes over 15.
Finally tried this Amore Caffe. First thing: it puts your blood sugar in the clouds. I would have liked it less sweet and more bitter, but it’s very well crafted. It’s an affogato on vanilla ice cream. The first 30-40 minutes the amaretto and coffee are very prominent; for me the amaretto is more hazelnut liqueur than almonds. Finally a coffee without roses stealing the spotlight (here it’s vanilla with coffee). As a good Mancera, decent longevity and projection. Over 10 hours of longevity and excellent projection for nearly twice that. Unisex and almost mandatory in the cold, it’s quite sweet.
What a delightful fragrance. Love at first sniff; both women and men in my household adore it. I believe it suits day, night, whenever, and in any weather except extreme heat. Moreover, it is supremely versatile, unisex, and delicious.
Sweet coffee opening that lasts hours before leaving just vanilla and a faint coffee touch. It didn’t seem particularly new to me, it’s like many perfumes on the market. It’s tasty and I like it, but I wouldn’t buy it. Normal projection and it lasts well.
I loved it, it smells like little cups of ice cream, but unfortunately it projects nothing.
It’s like stumbling into 200 kilos of affogato and diving headfirst. If you don’t want to smell like this, don’t miss out. Potent fragrance, good trail and lasting power. Almond, coffee and vanilla notes, but the coffee is more of a sugary touch than an intense one. The star is the vanilla and that ‘ice cream cookie’ hint. It’s rich, but ideal for smelling on someone else or in a bakery for five minutes, not for all day. Be careful in the heat; sprays can make you dizzy.
Amore Caffè by Mancera is a proper gourmand that replicates an Affogato dessert with exactitude. It’s impressive the skill to replicate that sensation; a true marvel. It has excellent performance, like the whole house, with longevity and projection that don’t disappoint. It’s an almost blind-buy recommendation, especially for gourmand and Affogato lovers.
In Colombia we have sweets called Coffee Delight and this perfume smells like that, a bit more alcoholic. It’s a delight; on a cold rainy day it feels like a hug and brings back good childhood memories. My only complaint is the dry-down: after a few hours, the coffee disappears and leaves a brown sugar that’s a bit flat and annoying. For cold days when you invite your partner for Netflix and chill, it works wonders.

I agree with Le Changonguiers’ review and add: on my skin it smells very similar to the Khamrah Qahwa.
Mancera usually makes bold and sometimes excessive fragrances. This perfume is like a dessert that seems like a good idea but ends up cloying and leaves you craving water. It starts promising, like a freshly made Italian espresso, but then the brown sugar bursts in like a bull in a china shop, dominating everything and turning the fragrance into a disaster. It’s a gourmet coffee ruined by ten spoons of sugar. As if you spilled caramel syrup on an espresso and it’s worse with an eternal longevity that clings to the skin like a bad decision. The sweet aftertaste doesn’t go away. The coffee and pepper notes are eclipsed by the sugar. If you want to smell like coffee cake, go ahead, you’ll pay too much and end up with a hyper-sugared frappuccino. YIKES!
The idea is good, but the coffee notes don’t last at all and in the end it smells like vanilla and caramel cake, which can end up being cloying. Nevertheless, it’s one of the gourmands I enjoy most. Those five minutes of coffee and amaretto are magical.
A total disappointment. Instead, buy the Khamrah Qawha, which is the same but better in longevity, projection, and coffee usage. Here, the coffee lasts only the opening and is covered up by the sweetness. A missed opportunity. If you want a sweet vanilla with good coffee that projects and lasts, buy the Khamrah Qawha by Lattafa. I bought the Amore Caffè 120ml for €145 and have already requested a refund. To replace it, I’m buying the Khamrah Qawha for just €31.
Definitely tricky to wear. It doesn’t evolve; it smells cloying and heavy all the time. I have to spray it on my finger first and then apply small touches, otherwise I can’t even stand it myself. It feels synthetic, like concentrated coffee candies to excess. There are better options; the Qawha does what Amore Caffè doesn’t.
I ordered a decant and I’m disappointed. The opening is an overpowering amaretto, and since I don’t like it much, I hoped it would recede, but here it dominates the coffee. I hope it mellows down in the dry-down, because right now it’s too strong.
Straight to the point: it smells like coffee, but it vanishes in 30 minutes. Then comes 9 hours and 30 minutes of brown sugar vanilla ice cream. Projection is moderate and it’s a solid winter fragrance and one of my favourites. If the coffee lasted longer, it would be a 10/10.
A very good fragrance and very well priced. It leans more towards amaretto than coffee; plainly, it does not smell much of coffee, but it is very rich and sweet. It is like a coffee and amaretto dessert, but with more amaretto than coffee. Rating 8.5/10.
It smells like real coffee at first, as if I’d splashed delicious coffee on my clothes in a café. The good thing is the coffee fades, leaving behind a slightly bitter, sugured vanilla. The bad thing is the trail is super personal; I can’t even smell it on myself once applied, you have to be right up against it to catch a whiff. The concept is top-notch, but the execution falls short.
I suppose here I recommend trying perfumes at least twice. The first time this one smelled wonderful to me, but the second time… it smelled like syrup.
I just tried this perfume and I loved it. It smells of soft coffee, caramel, and vanilla ice cream; it is incredible. I have not yet tested the longevity and projection, but initially, its scent is exquisite. I will add the rest soon; it is 100% unisex.
A very rich fragrance, unisex leaning towards feminine. The notes are well combined; that liquorish touch of coffee and amber base makes it smell like perfume rather than melted affogato. It is not what I look for in a coffee perfume: too sweet for my taste. The performance is moderate (trail and longevity) for the current price, but I think it is acceptable, as this with steroids would surely cloy and lose the finesse of being a Mancera (I have read there are Arab dupes of this nature). If you like sweet scents but not for a very gourmand and cloying trail all day, go ahead, this is it.
I expected a much stronger and more prominent coffee note, but the sweet notes take almost over it entirely. That is not necessarily bad; the scent ends up being like a cajeta frappuccino with whipped cream: super sweet but very delicious.
The coffee scent lasts only a few minutes; afterwards, the fragrance transforms into a vanilla essence. The projection is moderate, and I feel there are many similar ones on the market.
Totally disappointed; it smells strongly of amaretto and is far too expensive. It smells similar to Khamrah Qhawa; I would recommend buying that instead: it is more economical and smells better, at least on my skin.
Exquisite gourmand aroma with a coffee opening and a sweet vanilla base. An excellent option for cold days.
Mancera offers a sweet, warm, and seductive proposal. It is one of the gourmands I recommend most for its scent; for lovers of the genre, it is very pleasant. The niche house’s iconic bottle is simple and elegant, containing a liquid reminiscent of cold coffee. The name ‘AMORE CAFFÈ’ evokes a deep love for the bean. While it achieves its aim of evoking coffee, it does so in a special way: a roasted, very sweet coffee embraced by ice cream, biscuit, and a rich vanilla that transports you to an Italian affogato. To temper this sweetness, the Amaretto adds warmth from the start, being a strong note that then recedes to let the ice cream, vanilla, and coffee come through more deeply. Ideal for feeling calm and happy. Completely unisex. Lasts 6-8 hours on skin with a moderate and personal trail. Final note: 9.7/10. Negatives: the name suggests coffee is the star, but it is not, and it is not as intense as the real flavour. Also, the Amaretto can be intense for some.
A lovely perfume
