I bought a decant to try it and have only worn it at night. I quite like it, although my nose can’t detect the vanilla in the dry-down because the coffee liquor dominates, especially at first. I’m not sure if I’d buy the full bottle; it’s not bad, but perhaps it’s not my type of scent.
It’s a decent, faithful perfume to its notes: smells of coffee, amaretto, and vanilla (slightly sweet). However, I must admit it’s been disappointing… it feels as though everything is diluted in water. It’s very soft and lacks projection (though I’ve been letting it macerate). I prefer alternatives like Mancera’s Amore Café, Khadlaj’s Café Latte, or Zimaya’s Tiramisu Coco; I’ve enjoyed those more. Khadlaj has better projection and potency, while Zimaya, although soft, has a very pleasant fruity touch.
It smells just like Zimaya’s Tiramisu Coco, but with less sugar. The amaretto is brilliant. If you’re obsessed with sweet gourmand scents, like vanilla biscuit with coffee and amaretto, this is the one.
