THE BEST PERFUME IN MY COLLECTION. UNIQUE. DOESN’T REMIND ME OF ANYTHING. ABSOLUTELY SEXY. UNISEX. LONG LASTING. IRRESISTIBLE. THOSE DRIED RAISINS. AND EVERYTHING IN JUST THE RIGHT MEASURE. IT’S NARCOTIC, LITERAL. 💯 RECOMMENDED. I’M GOING FOR MY 3RD BOTTLE. WORTH EVERY PENNY!
It’s a spectacular scent and, as expected, very gourmand. On me, it opens with a marked note of chocolate, sweet and cheerful, nothing dark. Then those apricots come in with a divine honeyed touch. Nothing is exaggerated or loud; everything works together very well, linked and in just the right measure. An intoxicating aroma and one of the best in my collection. The sillage is wide, though the longevity could be better on my skin, but it depends on everyone. There’s nothing to complain about; I’m wearing it in winter and it’s like a cloud of well-being every time I use it. It’s a very sensual potion, a narcotic sweetness bomb. It’s addictive! It doesn’t remind me of any other fragrance in its line or style. A masterpiece of modern perfumery that is worth every penny.
A lovely gourmand crafted with top-tier ingredients, remarkably realistic. Upon application, it smells of cognac and chocolate bathing in apricots, before settling into sweet, exquisite dried fruit. While the sillage isn’t particularly strong, its longevity is surprising: I wore it Saturday afternoon and could still detect the scent when I woke up Sunday. It’s worth it if you weigh the high price against the performance; perhaps not entirely, but I picked it up at a good sale, so I feel compensated. Regardless, it’s a stunning, realistic, high-quality gourmand. P.S.: For those who hate patchouli, it’s undetectable.
A beautiful gourmand; the quality of the ingredients is surprising, very realistic. I get the cognac and chocolate bathing the apricots at the start, then only the scent of the sweet, exquisite dried fruit remains. Despite not having great sillage, I was surprised by its longevity; I wore it one Saturday afternoon and upon waking on Sunday, I could still detect traces. It’s worth it if you weigh its high price against the performance it delivers. Perhaps not so much, as I managed to get it in a sale at a very good price, so I feel compensated. Anyway, it’s a gorgeous, realistic, and high-quality gourmand. P.S.: for the patchouli haters, rest assured, it’s not perceptible in the slightest.
Lucky to have secured a decant of this magic. It’s a tipsy, boozy, and fruity fragrance. Basically cognac accompanied by dried apricot, chocolate, and vanilla. I don’t perceive the honey or the patchouli. Given its high cost, which it certainly deserves, I can’t afford to treat myself to it right now and I’m shouting into the universe for dupes of this marvel to appear.
It’s a wonder, pity it’s so expensive. It’s not a groundbreaking scent or particularly innovative compared to other sweet offerings on the market, but it is delicious. It’s not difficult at all, provided you like sweet perfumes. At first, I sense a slap of Baileys. Then specific notes emerge: to the boozy base, it adds a candied apricot that smells like glacé cherries, with a creamy milk chocolate. Over time, it becomes deeper, ambered, and vanilla-scented; it’s a pleasure to catch a whiff of it from time to time. It has moderate-to-soft projection, which I would have liked to be greater, and a skin longevity of about 9 hours. Sexy or seductive? I’m not sure; I feel it more as a cheerful, edible aroma. What I know for certain is that it is absolutely delicious. Compared to Extase Honey, for me, they have nothing in common beyond the note of glacé cherries, which is very perceptible in both. However, in Dulce Diablo I don’t perceive the honey, whereas in Extase Honey I’ve barely sensed any chocolatey aftertaste. Dulce Diablo is sweeter, creamier, and more boozy to my nose, while Extase Honey has a more moderate sweetness and subtle spicy undertones, making it more unisex, elegant, and winter-appropriate. I like having both because Extase Honey is a good example of a honey perfume without being one-dimensional, while Dulce Diablo is a more edible gourmand. Scent 7.5/10, Longevity 9/10, Sillage 6/10, Value for money 4.5/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 8/10. Would I buy again? Perhaps not, I’m not sure due to the price.
I didn’t like it at all; it’s a slap of sugar and fruit… some notes don’t work well together and there’s no harmony in the blend…

I received it as a decant from a purchase. Since I usually buy Dua Brand dupes, which are faithful to the original even in performance, I found ‘Dulce Diablo’ and it’s now on my wishlist. A tip for those unwilling to pay the high price: the Dua ones are extracts and cost a maximum of £50. They generally also come with discount codes.
Absolutely intoxicating. The first thing you notice is apricot with honey and sugar. The chocolate and liquor hit hard at the start but fade quickly. Very delicious, perfect for those who love gourmand scents, but you must truly enjoy sweetness. It’s heavily honeyed, intense, and with just three sprays, the projection is massive.
It bursts forth with a potent, slightly garish chocolate – a super gourmand that’s hard to handle at first, but after 10 minutes it settles into a very subtle, dry cocoa and raisin note. It’s a unique balance, with a hint of citrus, making it ideal for cold days and special occasions.
The opening is a strong chocolate with myrtle, very gourmand and quite difficult to wear. However, after ten minutes it settles down considerably, leaving a very subtle dry cocoa and myrtle, with a citrus note that creates a unique balance ideal for special occasions and cold weather.
