I tried the Discovery Kit and the top note of cherry is DELICIOUS—a sweet and acidic balance I’d love to last a lifetime, but it fades in a maximum of five minutes, leaving only a fine, powdery, airy floral trail. It doesn’t project beyond the arm, staying as a very soft personal aura, and for the price of the bottle, I think it’s a mistake. Scent 7.7, Projection 6.8, Longevity 7.5.
An incredible perfume I’ve been wanting to try for months. Finally tested it a week ago and loved it; the cherry is rich and the scent is thoroughly enjoyable. I bought it today and it should arrive on Wednesday—I’m excited! It lasts and projects quite well. If you like cherry perfumes, you must try it. It easily became one of my favourites 👌🏻. Very expensive, but worth it for the quality.
I didn’t know the Mind Games house and to be honest, they are LO-CU-RA. I fell completely in love with this fragrance. I’m not a fan of cherry, but here it is simply perfect. The opening is a true BOMB: sweet, ripe black cherry with a hint of rose and spices. I loved every fragrance from this house, but this is undoubtedly my favourite. With over 200 perfumes and having heard of more than a thousand, few surprise me. With French Defense I said WOW and was left breathless. It’s been a long time since this happened. I don’t just want it, I NEED it. Note: don’t buy blind, I really recommend testing first.
An incredible new niche house, part of the Nishane group. This creation captivates from the black cherry opening, with amber presence adorned by rose. The other notes merely complement the cherry and amber; in my case, I only detect a very light chamomile. It lasts all day if applied in the morning and lingers on clothes for days afterwards. It projects around a metre and a half. It has become one of my favourites, but a favourite. Give this new house a chance. They also have their own version of Aventus, give it a try.
