Share what you noticed: opening, drydown, sillage and the moments when it works for you.
At first, I was alarmed upon spraying; the fig seemed too green and dominant, but then… It’s a non-tropical coconut perfume, creamy, blended with florals and a woody base. Warm, it brushes against gourmand but stays floral. To my mind, it’s very unisex, leaning feminine. I don’t see it as lactonic, but rather creamy. A lovely composition. It reminds me of Vanilla Powder but with more coconut and florals (and I must admit, I don’t like Vanilla Powder, yet this one convinces me).
I was looking for a milky scent as Emma described, but this gave me a different idea. It opens with fig and coconut milk notes, reminiscent of Cloud’s coconut, with a soft floral touch. It’s creamy and airy, not lactonic. I agree it smells like expensive sunscreen and sometimes a piña colada with little sugar. Projection and longevity fall short of Emma’s expectations: it’s intimate, with little sillage and medium-short longevity, ideal for personal use rather than making a statement. The price is high for what it offers. If you’re seeking something sweet and lactonic, there are better options on the market.
I bought it blindly on pre-order due to the hype. I thought it would be a mix between Bianco Latte and Blanche Bête, but it smells like what Lattafa Badee Al Oud Noble Blush should be without the headache of the dry-down. It’s not creamy but airy, staying in the behind-the-ears zone. I’ll let it oxidise a bit to see how it develops. For now, a disappointment. That said, it comes with a 10 ml sample of Milk. A lovely touch.
