The nose behind this composition is Gabriela Chelariu. I love it. It is exactly what I expected Vanilla Rock Sugar to smell like. An opening of petit suisse that transforms in 5 minutes into the most lactonic/sugary perfume I have ever heard. Most of the time it smells like cream, cloud, and sugar. The ambroxan is very noticeable. Absolutely delicious and gourmand. I didn’t like Rock Sugar because I hate the pear smell and I was expecting something more like this, but I love this one. One comment says it is similar to Sweet Tooth, but it doesn’t resemble it at all to me. Sweet Tooth smells muuuchiisiiimo more plastic-y.

  • Wow! I have never caught such a realistic bonbon note. It smells like opening a bag of sweets, those twisted strawberry marshmallows or the scent of the sweet shop. It brings back memories of my birthday parties, handing out bags and pulling out that pink bonbon.

  • What can I say? I have loved it! It is simple but addictive. To me, it smells like a strawberry milkshake, super lactonic and creamy, with that lovely strawberry and nothing artificial, which is something I usually don’t like. In short, it is a strawberry marshmallow that might seem childish but how much I like it. It goes in my top 5! P.S.: Nothing to do with Sweet Tooth by Sabrina Carpenter; I didn’t like that one.

How to start? Yum Boujee Marshmallow 81 is a DELICIA, yes… but it is 98% identical to Sweet Tooth by Sabrina Carpenter. I DO NOT ACCEPT opinions saying otherwise because I have both and I smell them side by side. I have been wearing them for two days and the differences are MINIMAL, with the Yum Boujee by Kayali being much better in performance and projection. It is a ‘baby girl’ perfume, super cute and tender, like being in CANDYFORNIA from the California Gurls video by Katy Perry, EXACTLY. RATINGS: Scent 95/100 (Delicious sweet… but Meh!), Projection 90/100 (Not as Best Mood as Biancco Latte but it leaves a trail), Longevity 90/100 (Skin scent lasts 8-10h without issues), Sillage 90/100 (More Kayali), Versatility 100/100 (Super good for layering), Quality 90/100 (Hit, but nothing extraordinary). <3<3<3 XOXO... - ATTE: TU.PINCHE.MERA.PATRONA

I haven’t received so many compliments on any perfume as I have on this one. It is delicate and very lactonic, not cloying, and leaves a long-lasting trail. Undoubtedly, since I tried it, it is one of my favourites.

  • It is perfect; it is literally a strawberry marshmallow or sweet strawberries with lots of cream. I love the marshmallow note; I have been searching for it since I became addicted to perfumes. It is the best from Kayali so far (I have tried every launch). So realistic, spongy, and airy like a real marshmallow. The strawberry doesn’t smell like a pipe or air freshener, but just like in the promotional photos. I bought a bag of marshmallows and it smells identical; I have compared it side by side. It is soft; if you want something more potent, try the Strawberry Sugar High by Sphinx. Very feminine and youthful, addictive and charming. It has nothing to do with Pink Sugar or Devotion; every nose is a different world, better to try it. Scent 10/10, it smells like what it promises. It is a gourmand that smells like perfume, not food, and I like that. Moderate potency, a 7/10.

  • It smells like a bonbon, with a touch of lactonic coconut and dusty raspberry. It is a good perfume, although it is not quite my sweet style.

  • What a wonder! I went to smell it with the lowest expectations after Isa Ramírez’s review and thought it would be a disappointment, but I have loved it. I don’t see it as childish; it is a wonderful sweet perfume with a chuche smell but with a complex base. I have loved it; it still projects strongly after more than 24 hours. I WANT IT.

  • Mitafragance

I thought this would be my Cotton Candy sin, a bit too teen for my taste, but it turns out to be incredibly versatile. Everyone loves it; it’s very well balanced, with a sweetness that is neither cloying nor heavy. I found it very pretty, reminding me vaguely of a Kilian scent, but I’ll wait until I’ve spent more before dropping a fortune on it.

  • If I had to define it in one phrase, I’d say ‘I’m just a girl’. It is literally all pink, coquette, pretty, and cute, like a strawberry tart. Sweet, gourmand, lactonic, and nothing synthetic. It is totally worth it.

  • The opening smells like strawberry cream with custard, deliciously sweet, edible, fluffy, and girly. As it dries, it reminds me of petit suisse with a clean hint. I’m not a fan of gourmands but I loved it so much I bought the large size. I was surprised by the performance (I expected it to last a breath) and the amount of compliments. It lasts days on my clothes; my wardrobe smells like petit suisse, what a delightful pink treat. They say it’s synthetic and it is, but it smells divine.

  • Éric Sélène

I’d define it as a sweet and coquettish hug. It’s a tribute to gourmand scents where sweetness reigns with a modern touch. It opens with a fruity burst of strawberry and fresh floral notes. In the heart, white marshmallow and coconut create a rich, creamy texture evoking nostalgia. The base is whipped vanilla and pink musk, adding depth and sensuality. It balances indulgence and playful femininity. Highlights: sophisticated gourmand sensation, not cloying thanks to the balance. Longevity: moderate projection and 6-7 hours wear time. Considerations: linear profile, can be predictable and too sweet for those seeking something fresh. Price: high investment. Ideal for young women or those with a youthful spirit looking to project a warm and coquettish image.

  • The fragrance is exquisite, soft, sweet, and feminine, something I’d be smelling all day. But its longevity and projection disappointed me; I expected to feel it without having to bring my nose close.

  • Jaionemaite3

Honestly, I don’t want to discredit it; I bought it blindly due to the hype and it was a letdown. It’s a lovely scent but for a young girl; it smells like cloud sweets and on me it has no projection (thank goodness I don’t want to seem like a walking sweet). Warning: test before buying so it doesn’t happen to you as it did to me.

  • I’m not a fan of gourmands but I’ve really liked this perfume. At first it’s a bit alcoholic but it quickly changes and a lovely strawberry shake appears, then the pink marshmallow and feminine touch. In the end, it’s a strawberry bonbon with sugar. Everyone says it doesn’t last but I notice it for a long time and it lasts days on clothes. It’s youthful but not childish, perfect for mornings when you don’t know what to wear. Also great for adding sweetness and femininity to other fragrances when layering. I wouldn’t buy the 100ml; one of 50ml or 10ml is enough to satisfy the craving.

  • AnaísLpez96

I bought the 10ml swayed by reviews saying it was Kayali’s best. The scent is lovely but I don’t sense all the notes; it smells like strawberry and cream sweets, nothing else. For those living in Spain, it smells like Solano strawberry sweets. Although it’s delicious, I don’t understand why it’s so expensive. The trail is non-existent and it lasts less than two hours. I think Kayali has a good marketing strategy but not great formulas. Although I like it and would use it, I’m not interested in spending €100 on 50ml; I’ll look for a dupe. I disagree with those who say it’s childish; it’s gourmand, delicate, feminine, and cheerful, yet has something sophisticated. It’s for young adult women, though an older woman could use it too.

  • I bought the 10ml and I’m glad it wasn’t the large size. It literally smells like a strawberry cloud, like those white and pink sweets (here they’re called ‘besitos’). But it doesn’t last; it has no trail or projection, I can only smell it for the first 10 minutes. It makes no sense for Kayali to release something like this at this price; it’s pure marketing. It’s a pity because it smells fantastic, but I wouldn’t pay what it costs. Marshmallow Blush by Paris Corner is a good alternative; it leaves a trail, lasts longer, and won’t leave you broke.

  • sikosisinfinita

It smells like a strawberry cloud, very sugary, and that’s all. I love it; it’s youthful for daily wear. It’s not refined enough for events; I’d use it for going to class, catching up with friends, or casual dates with my boyfriend.

  • I tried it at Sephora and within five minutes it reminded me of Eclaire with a strawberry twist. It smells good but it’s not for me; it’s extremely sweet and this is too much. Edit: I bought a decant. The first time the sweetness overwhelmed me, haha, but by the third time I fell in love. It’s for cold climates; I don’t use it at 32 degrees. Compared to Eclaire, Yum Boujee has more quality and refinement. The price isn’t cheap, but I’ll definitely buy the travel version.

  • Miireyaps

I get the hype; it smells like edible strawberry and only Kayali delivers that pleasure without losing femininity. I bought the 10ml because it’s pricey and I’m content to try it out. The bottle is a gem. If I’d bought the large size, I’d have regretted it, because although it smells like a strawberry cloud, after wearing it I notice the milky side and it reminds me of a baby bottle.

  • Mimicheri

I passed a Sephora today and found a stand with several Kayali perfumes, so I tried them, especially this one, as I adore sweets, but it was a disappointment. It simply smells like bubblegum, like the typical little girl cologne we’ve all had. I think it’s rather overrated. I don’t know about the longevity, which is probably fine, but I’m talking about the scent. It seemed to me that, frankly, it’s not worth the price for such a basic smell.

  • I’m not much of a fan of perfumes that smell like food; I’d heard it smelled like bonbons, strawberry and sugar, which put me off. But I managed to try it in a shop and was fascinated. I still had doubts because one thing is smelling it on the bottle and another is how it interacts on my skin, so I decided to spray a little and evaluate it. To my luck, it worked wonders. At first, the opening is sweet and sugary, but as the day went on, I noticed it smelled of bonbons – not excessively sweet, but delicate – mixed with strawberry. To be honest, I compare it to a natural strawberry milkshake with a little sugar and a touch of soft, refreshing vanilla. I like that it’s very feminine without being childish. The projection is good and the longevity on me was over 10 hours, I think it depends on how many sprays you give yourself and where.

  • Good heavens, what a bombshell Kayali fragrances are; they’re simple, synthetic, and expensive. I was dying to try them, drove an hour just to smell synthetic cream and strawberry, like Fruit of the Loom. I didn’t try any other scents from the brand and I’m furious because I adore their creator.

  • blackstone

I’m editing this because my perception has changed. I didn’t like it at first; it smelled like cheap bubblegum with poor longevity. But I gave it another chance and the tables turned. It’s sweet, but a refined sweetness, not like some coarse gourmands. It’s good. I see it for anyone from 10 years old upwards, perhaps more suited to younger people, but I don’t see why you wouldn’t wear it if you’re over 50. It’s gorgeous, versatile, for daily wear and all seasons.

  • darlenerock

This ‘strawberry gummy’ scent is very trendy and, honestly, it’s not my style. I don’t like it at all. It’s extremely sweet. If you like smelling like a ‘strawberry milkshake with marshmallows’, then this is your scent, without a doubt.

  • I’m not usually a fan of such pink and pop perfumes, but I truly love this one. It’s completely addictive; the scent is like marshmallow fluff. Although I’ve had perfumes with a marshmallow note, I believe this is the ONLY ONE IN MY COLLECTION THAT REALLY SMELLS LIKE MARSHMALLOW. If your personality is tender and sweet, this is for you.

  • polishcreative

Wow! It’s a 100% ‘Pink Girl’ perfume but with an interesting twist. It’s sweet and indulgent, yet not cloying. What fascinates me is its evolution: as it dries down, the sweetness blends with a super clean musk, in a ‘clean girl’ style, making it addictive and hypnotic. It feels coquettish and modern. It definitely attracts compliments; the lads love it. And the packaging is adorable. A gourmand fantasy in a beautiful bottle!

  • What a gorgeous perfume; it’s one of those sweet, light, exquisite scents that are instantly addictive. Imagine a little cloud of strawberry with powdered sugar – it’s my absolute favourite from Kayali.

  • Kayali – Yum Boujee Marshmallow | 81. I already had Marshmallow Blush 2025, which is its dupe and I love it. It gives me pure happiness. But when I tried the original at the Sephora in Corte Inglés in Tenerife… oh my. I fell in love at first sight. They are similar, but Kayali 81 has more body, depth and lasts longer. It is the roundest, creamiest and most intense version. I have tried it five times and I like it more each time. It is sweet, fluffy, feminine, playful… and it lifts my spirits every time I smell it. A beautiful perfume that makes me feel happy. ♥️✨

  • It is very airy and fluffy; it doesn’t smell like food, it’s like a sweet, airy cloud. I love the musk that cuts the sweetness and makes it fluffy; it reminds me of chewable strawberry sweets. When I bought it, I noticed more lactonic notes with coconut, but now after a year I perceive more vanilla and marshmallow; it must have mellowed. If you are looking for something complicated, you will find it basic. But tastes vary; lately it seems that if you don’t like something complicated that changes a thousand times and has rare Himalayan notes and is a beast, you are basic. Perfumery is for enjoyment; there are a thousand niche brands offering other things.

  • It is a wonderful fragrance, youthful, feminine, sparkling and very sweet. The fresh fruity opening makes it delicious for feeling good, and the dry down of vanilla and caramel is unbeatable. That said, I don’t think it’s worth the price; there are others with the same DNA and better performance. If what you like most is the floral opening, Odyssey Marshmallow is the same, and the raspberry and caramel dry down is EXACTLY the same in Yara Elixir. I have one on each arm and can’t tell them apart, except that the Elixir is more potent and lasts longer. I paid a quarter of what Kayali charges and there is no sense in recommending it.

  • HiedraVenenosa

People paint this as if it were a work of art 😂. Nothing could be further from the truth. It smells nice and is cute, but that’s all. The same thing always happens with Kayali: the hype is brutal and the price is the same for the performance. If I’m told that YBM is a celebrity perfume, I’ll believe it. The opening is sweet and slightly refreshing; the lemon and apple are noticeable with the strawberry. Then it sweetens and becomes cloying; the cloud and coconut have that effect. It ends sweet, with vanilla and cloud. Longevity is just fair, same as the projection. I bought the Paris Corner dupe to layer with Burberry Her in spring and it’s not worth the fuss. Between YBM and Marshmallow Blush, I stick with the second one; it lasts longer on my skin. Comments like ‘if you don’t like YBM you have bad taste’ make you think; that’s something only a teenager or a perfume newbie would say 😂🤣. It’s for cuki and basic public, for sweatshirts, youthful, but nothing extraordinary.

  • Smells very sweet, like marshmallow and strawberry, but I think the scent might make some people feel dizzy.

  • Oh my goodness, I received this as a gift and it is an incredibly sweet and sexy fragrance with an amazing trail that lingers on clothes for days. It smells very feminine; whenever I wear it, people ask for compliments. It’s sweeter than usual but I absolutely love it. My husband says I smell ‘fabulous’ 🥹😍😮💨

  • Buying this is about the same, if not less, than some cheap body spray out there with a similar scent. It’s not worth the price given the poor longevity and projection.
